I think a lot of people are apprehensive about game purchases, given the recent failures over the last few years of triple A games. COVID lockdowns specifically impacted game quality and many people were burnt with buyers regret and they’re not too excited about being burnt again.
No, they aren't. All that really just goes away when it comes to a new grand theft auto game. Even after how disastrous GTA IV was upon launch with PS3 and PC versions the next installment was even more successful

What would it take for you to actually get some information that everyone doesn’t already have.
I think their goals is to hope that 20% of gamers to purchase on release date. That would mean they estimate the other 80% of gamers will not buy the game until months-years after the release date.
I think it’s funny that we can still find brand new adult GTA online players in 2024 that doesn’t know the game because they haven’t even played the story mode.
I NEVER buy a game upon launch. NEVER and for good reasons :
1) I wait for in depth reviews after a 1-3 months of intense gamer to have a more trusty evaluation. If it is clear that the game meet the expectations, then i will buy it ON PC. Which mean i will wait 1-2 years because i refuse to play onj a console. i am a PC gamer and i wont buy a console for 1 game. And if GTA6 is never launched on PC then sorry, i wont play it. Period. I have so many great games to play!
2) If the game is good but they try to force us to subscrible to a monthly fee, forget it, i wont buy it.
3) As always, a game have many bugs upon release. The early buyers will serve as beta testers. So i wait after that and for a few patches.

Haha 100% going to buy and play :) i loved gta 4 ( on 15 mods, driving mod, damage mod x5, more peds x10,police tweaks, new ped actions, graphics mods like 4k textures, new sounds,etc) , i did not like gta 5 physics, driving, ragdolls, car damage etc. GTA 4 - 900 hours play , Gta 5 - 25 hours ;D

That's mostly true about the iPhone. Thar shit hasn't changed in 10 years. They took away the physical home button and the 3.5mm jack. And added a couple colors and made the phone thinner but also made the screen bigger. That's literally it. Plus android is superior anyway.
