GTA online is the game version of the Fast & Furious movie universe😂 started off stealing cars and racing, and ended yp doing bank heists and using space tech.
Both had a straightforward and enjoyable premise but the moment they became profitable, they switched thematically and it just isn't the same; it was inevitable but it's just unfortunate, also why I haven't watched any F&F past Tokyo drift
hope it’s like gta 4 will better/more satisfying gunplay with louder gunshots rockstar took a step down from gta4 to 5 in terms of combat imo glad they got rid of the cars feeling heavy tho that shit was dirt
Today's GTA Online is just an almost unplayable mess with so many phone calls telling you to buy all kinds of garbage you're not interested in with money you don't have, everyone flying around and killing everybody...seriously wtf!
I do agree with the fact that GTA Online spun out of control a while ago, and I have a feeling that it won't happen with GTA 6. The biggest thing I miss not ever coming to online is the ability to use the stock market, BAWSAQ is an option that you see in online but can't use it, and I hope Rockstar finds a way to make markets a thing in the next GTA Online.
I think it would be better to make it more RP like and stop surrounding every mission or heist around the fact you need a damn oppressor or some shit that flys and auto locks to complete it. They need to get back to their roots bruh
@YungAtzeasy ≠ fun gta online wasn’t fun the minute they started giving players the ability to be overpowered once the playing field got uneven it wasn’t fun anymore you wanna have a nice fight with a guy oh well he’s toxic and orb spams you or they get in a gm van the games easy but trying to have any fun is not easy it’s hard to do and don’t try to say well the missions and heists are fun yeah maybe the first time lmao nothing about anything outside of fucking around in free mode is any fun and hasn’t been for years and that shit isn’t even fun anymore because rockstar refuses to get rid of people that make the game a cancer (half the players in every lobby especially on pc) but godforbid you mod in money so you don’t have to spend 100s of hours to get the cool shit in the game thank god i can get my money legit and get booted off and have my game crashed in the same game
@shotzcapalot all weaponized vehicles need an ammo cap, unlimited rockets is fking dumb, hell 20 rockets on a mk2 is outrageous, it shouldnt have more than 4 shots
Seeing that bike in the back of that pickup makes me hope that gta6 has a new mechanic that allows you to habe multiple vehicles out at a time and even trailers to store or transport them.
@@Messup7654 Avenger is one I remember. Haven't played in a long time. Idk the names but they had like an "entrance" signaled by a blue light where you drive your car towards it triggers and you can transport it.
My only issue with gta online is the games economy. Car prices are ridiculous and customization makes you spend extra thousands of dollars going back and forth trying on different parts before leaving the shop, gun prices insane, single items of clothes can cost thousands of dollars and you don’t even get to test it out first before buying an outfit same as the cars. All in all, I’m forced to either get on and do constant heists back to back for the entire session even multiple days back to back just to have a few million to have fun or just get in one of my old cars and drive around trying to not spend any money. And that few million can go even fast than it comes
I prefer the customization of Saints Row 2. You didn’t pay for everything until you were done and you could see how everything worked together. Same with clothing.
@@KiLlACaMrOn94 it’s just a small tweak that’s needed to fix this and it’s crazy it never happened. I play retro gta games more on ps2 than I do gta5, and San Andreas is the same as saints row. You can put your outfit together and customize your car checking things out before being forced to purchase it. So it’s not like rockstar doesn’t know how to do this, it highlights their greed because they want people constantly grinding or buying shark cards.
@@xJDMWaRRi0Rx San Andreas does not have the same level of customization as Saints Row. The layering, the choices, the color-ways, the variability, the OTP design. San Andreas does well what it does well, GTA just doesn’t do customization like that, not until V. San Andreas is the only one that comes close, funnily enough.
yeah it sucks. my way to combat this is i just got a nightclub got the 5 most profitable businesses, got all 5 technicians and put em to work and just rake in money without doing anything
I remember the old days of first GTA Online, I created this "race" which was a circule made with fences, so u stick a piece of adhesive tape to the remote control and then leave it there to make 50 laps and get money and experience😂😂
I remember the old custom made meat grinders death matches, I got real good at GTA parkour from those. I’d beat the creator into the lazer and nuke him and the entire lobby for the 50-75kills and hate mail

I love the idea of the new GTA Online using the roles concept from Read Dead Online bc it makes absolutely 0 sense that I’m a big CEO in my office one moment then a biker gang leader the next in order to access different businesses.
Also have better paying content be unlocked by progressing the roles instead of by just buying the right properties right away. So like all the heists would be unlocked by progressing a robber role, all the illegal goods businesses would be unlocked by progressing a seller role etc.
I never got to experience GTA Online in its early days but by the way you describe it, it sounds like a vibe. Yeah there wasn't much to do, but it would be so great to experience GTA Online where everyone is still figuring out the online mechanics, you and your friends are just booling, robbing stores, driving around having a laugh, occasionally getting into gunfights with other players and not having to deal with comically overpowered shit all the time The futuristic shit, the businesses, the inflated pricing model just make the game straight up unplayable for me
I was 13, anticipating it for a whole year. Game was barebones and a grind but that’s what made it fun. The early heist felt good too. Realistic, fun, new. Only negative was the lack of building access/new buildings for a while. I’m also im a car guy so the drifting I wanted for so long. The updates are fun but I never liked how we can’t do more things in free mode
@@TallJaiRealiistic that you can shoot and without being taken down? And the heists that happen without knowing who you really are? You clearly dont know what youre talking about.
Well hopefully we will experience this new fresh start of gta online in gta6 with friends, that we missed out on for being too young and not having a console. Now some may miss it out for taking over a decade to come out where people have grown out of playing video games and prolly already got kids.
I don't judge you for being a GTA online player, I judge Rockstar for not understanding the difference between the experiences of GTA online and RDR Online that players are seeking. I play GTA to earn loads of money as fast as possible, be a meglomaniac with tons of money from doing heist, scores, selling crates, drugs ect. I play RDR to slow down, go hunting to get the outfit I want and just chill. Rockstar tried to make RDR Online experience as close to GTA Online as possible, cause that was the "success formula" for GTA Online to sell Sharkcards. Outsfits in RDR Online are so juxtapose to the time period compared to RDR 2 Singleplayer, and so is the experience. I wish Rockstar knew the separate playerbase
GtaVI is not going o happen I'm wandering If people notice John. Mardonsc adopted Son. was reading Knights of The Roundtable book it's a easter egg For Rdr3 who Is a Morgan. my guess. is That he be King Arthur Lrgrndary King
more like fuck the online regardless. i played both, rdr2 even more - almost 1000 hours on the ps4 (with a online character lvl 270) and another 200 on pc but after not touching the online of both respective games all I can say they are just shiny piles of shit you won't ever remember later after you stop playing. then again can't say the same for any single player R* made.
In retrospect, the most fun I had with GTAO was the year or two after the heists started. The game still largely felt like GTA, doing crime based missions for underworld bosses. The early missions were and still are fun to me, they were simple but true to what GTA is. The tense drives leading up to climactic gunfights, and the fallout. Free roam was street crimes and the playing field was largely even, nobody had future tech sky nukes or VTOLs. When everything started turning into actual second jobs is when it all went to shit. "Gotta make my deliveries, so I can harvest my product, so I can do my setups, so I can grind another cycle..." as R* keeps inflating their in game economy and gouging their players, for shark cards or whatever. I waited so long to become a "CEO" for instance because I just couldn't deal with making my character a CEO. I'm not even really a roleplayer, but I'm playing the game to be a CRIMINAL, not work a second job. That's what it feels like now, a job to play. All I ever wanted was a GTA story/experience with multiplayer co-op, and a free roam with interesting things to do. Red Dead Online was so much closer to feeling like that but they dropped it to focus on stuffing GTA with gaudy junk.
I think roles should be added to GTA 6 online. Say for example, we get crime syndicate roles and lawmen roles. The crime syndicate roles come with the crime boss and/or gun/drug/human trafficker, and crime fixer roles. Lawmen roles come with police officers, Judge, Sheriff, DEA agents, and detectives. Basically it turns the online into a role play game. However players must pick either crime or law and they can’t switch over unless they quit out of the role. Rockstar can then for the new update do something medical wise by letting players role play as doctors, paramedics, and surgeons. The purpose of all of these roles is to help provide a fun experience and online ecosystem rather than everyone just doing random stuff.
RDO already does this with certain missions being locked off depending on your characters honour meter. I feel GTA 6 Online could streamline it where you have a general infamy meter where it behaves like the mental state meter in 5, you start as law abiding normal person and as you commit more crimes and general mayhem, you raise your infamy meter and law abiding missions would become locked off as more criminal missions become available. If you want to go back you can just wait a few hours for it to cool down, or you could call a version of Lester and pay to have your record wiped resetting your infamy, or if you want to fast track your infamy you can pay to have records falsified to make your character more criminal.
Human trafficking being in gta is pretty unlikely. Yeah it’s mentioned in IV that Niko was one but I don’t think in the modern climate they’d touch something like that, especially since rockstar is scared of controversy now.
Gta 6 should have an actual story mode (not missions) and you should be able to do basically everything you do as a noob in gta online like the store robberies you talked about. Basically realistic crime, not stopping a world dooms day event. There should also be an honor/respect system similar to red dead and the more crime you do, the more notoriety you get from other criminals as well as the police. That would be my ideal gta online.
The problem with gta online is that instead of your payouts increasing as you progress, you can just buy the properties with the highest payouts first and skip everything else.
I very much dislike all the futuristic and over the top military stuff but at least I can somewhat ignore all of that, since I exclusively play by myself in invite ony lobbies. A thing I cannot ignore however is the HUGE inconsistencies in GTAO, because why am I essentially still just an errand boy, eventhough I run a very succesful criminal empire, own a slew of properties/vehicles and have 50M in the bank? I recently started on the First Dose missions to set up an acid lab, and it annoyed me so much that I was basically just their mercenary, also why the f*ck am I referred to as "Fresh Meat" when I'm a seasoned vet in the SA drug business? I shouldn't put my life on the line for a bunch of weird acid fueled cultist neo hippies, I should instead have the option to take what they have and eliminate them, since I view them as a competitor moving in on my turf and they seem too big of a liability to work with. Another example of this inconsistency is the fact that I can't decide how to run my own damn businesses, instead I am forced to deliver vehicles, drugs and guns myself in a very rigid, repetitive and inefficient way, completely ruining the immersion and and fun of the game. I know that some of this stuff is down to limitations of hardware and other things, and that the different parts of the game all have to be accessible to all players regardless of seniority, playstyle etc. so all the businesses and activities have to be kinda generic to fit that. A lot of it also has to do with Rockstar/Take-Two making stuff more grindy and less fun on purpose to sell more sharkcards, but I still really hope that the next version of GTAO gives you more freedom and allows for more immersion and roleplaying. I probably shouldn't expect much from the new GTAO though, since I had similar hopes for RDO and they totally screwed that game over lol.
The Bunker annoys me. When you first purchase it Agent 14 is clearing his stuff out of there. He can't get out quick enough and even tells you that you can do what you like with it and even turn it into a nightclub if you wish. And then when you eventually do take it over he's on the phone ordering you about and telling you what to do like he's your boss. Basically, you are working for him when that's not at all what the initial cut scene implied. Also, i keep getting text messages from Pavel telling me that my rivals are moving Heist Prep equipment. How the hell are they my rivals when I don't even own a Kosatka? This happens with some of the new businesses as well. Texting me that my rivals are doing such and such a thing when I don''t even own those businesses. R* have lost the plot when it comes to continuity and yet people think GTA 6 is going to be different under these people.
Yeah there really should have been more automation. You should be able to invest in stuff like drivers and gunmen to do the actual work while you sit back and rake in the cash (like actual CEOs and crime bosses do). Being a multi-millionaire CEO but still having to drive your own trucks is just stupid. I think the main reason they didn't do this is because people would make too much money and have nothing to spend it on. Ideally they should've made the expensive stuff like military and futuristic stuff more expensive and the more normal cars cost less. Also would've been nice to be able to buy mansions and stuff once you build up a bunch of cash
believe it or not, thats just nostalgia speaking. i remember playing it back in 2013, a mess of a start, i loved it, but it also got boring rlly quick.
@olliegreen3446 Yeah, I remember the launch being a nightmare. It took me probably an hour to finally connect. It was fairly barebones, especially compared to today, but it felt more balanced, the most expensive super car was $1 million, there wasn't any massively overpowered griefing vehicles, everything was achievable but required a fair amount of grind etc. Part of what made it great, though, was the players and especially playing with friends. Everything was less serious. There was never really anything big at stake if you were killed, so despite there not being anywhere near as much to do as far as content is concerned, you'd have an absolute riot with your friends. Now though it feels like a full time job to ever actually afford anything you want in the game, that is, if you're not blown up by a flying death bike first. Unfortunately GTA Online really just isn't as fun as it was. Or maybe I'm just getting old.
@@JakeBellis-m8o you do have a point with the time it takes to grind to get stuff, i feel like they've done that on purpose for shark cards. But we're all gettin old, when the game came out i was 11, i'm 22 now, its actually crazy how fast time goes by. Cant wait for gta 6 to release tho! have a good day/night man!
They should allow us to make multiple characters with different stories. Kinda like a MMO. For example: in Star Wars: The Old Republic. I could be a Jedi, A Sith Warrior or Bounty Hunter etc. Each character felt different and unique.
I really like the bit about role playing giving your character/ the game, more direction! This is very true, and would love to see it. Some additional points I might add: 1. Use of kitchens, and fully functional grocery stores. (In MMORPGs, food gives you buffs on health and whatnot.) 2. Starbucks for some social hubs!! 3. GTA 5 has assassin work in it; but make “assassin” be one of the roles you were talking about. (Like Bounty Hunter, in RDR2) 4. Keep the CEO executive as another path,!but loose the outlandish business ventures. (Hangers, bunkers, ext.) 5. bring back ability to give players 💰. If they are going for nostalgia, driving mechanics/ cops that arrest you (GTA 4) as well as character creation, and overall MMO feel of GTA 5.
Personally, I would keep hangars, and just have missions similar to the stuff we see Trevor do in story mode. Also, when it comes to stuff you can have in a hangar, it needs to cost WAY more. The most expensive plane you can buy is 10 mil, which is extremely cheap. Planes like the Lazer and Hydra should cost upwards of 30 or 80 million respectively.
Ironically the most fun I've had in GTA Online was at the very beginning when we were just cruising with friends, exploring the map, enjoying the detailed world, collecting simple cars, watching the sunset etc etc. Like wtf happened
The main thing they can do to fix vehicles is put a limit to the ammo they have, mk2 should only have 4 shots, buzzard only 20 and so on. Then player blips need to disappear off the map completely, you should gave to pay a hacker contact to locate/ping player phones for you, or use your eyes. Then all packages be to be stealable not just something to blow up.
@@squigglesmcjr199 rockets are too powerful againts everything, they punish people who are starting and there are too many vehicles that have them. Rockets should the exclusive to jets and combat choppers. it makes no sense for a nimble bike to have infinite rocket pods or any tipe of weaponry. its a bike, it should use the weapons in the inventory.
Nope bad suggestion. gta freeroam was always about the action. With player blips off the map completely then why not just rather play alone . or single player if you hate interactions that much.
Rockstar actually bought FiveM so there's a chance..albeit a small one..but a chance that GTA RP could be integrated into GTA 6's online mode in some way. Honestly NoPixel and especially the new Onx stuff is what's kept me coming back to GTA 5. That kind of RP experience is just a whole new untapped landscape for gaming. It's amazing
My only problem was the crazy high tech flying vehicles. And making all the new dlc based on these crazy high tech weapons and vehicles. I hope gta 6 online is more grounded
Being that Rockstar recently bought the RP version that people use online, I’m looking forward to them possibly being open to this style of online gameplay
The fact that most people would rather play online, in an empty lobby without any other players shows how much the game has fallen apart. It used to be fun not knowing if someone was gonna pull up on me at the clothing store, now the only way to play is grind the same boring ass mission by yourself until you can afford a new car or building. Not to mention there's still not many fun things to do in free roam. just drive and blow shit up fr. I want a reason to explore the world outside of missions and stuff to do just to mess around with friends.
Yeah I guess you’re right, and it definitely *feels* old compared to the other stuff. I only counted it as the modern because it’s more of a free roam activity.
This game came out when I was a sophomore or junior in high school. Those was the good days when me n all the countless homies from school would be in a invite only session and a Xbox party just fucking around having a good time till 4 am on a school night🤣 if we wasn’t on gta we was playing 2k in the park man those was some good days🤣 I’m still in touch with those ppl but we all got actual careers and family now so we can’t be on it all night no more it’s crazy how long this game been out and doing numbers lmao
I restarted GTA Online with (imo) the most realistic RP start to climbing the criminal ladder. Starting from jobs for Simeon and Gerald to owning the Acid business and starting a biker gang in place of the guys we took out with Dax… then AUTOSHOP and heists… Still on it, but still enjoying it. But I do agree that specific career paths instead of being the “everything guy” will be fun for RP sake.
Honestly one of my most favorite part of online has been the lowriders, do wish they added more lowrider variants of OG GTA V vehicles and ones that have been added to Online.
I kinda wished we just had online story missions like those or like the trevor heists. Keep it "local". Not this global issue that requires 4 randoms to save the world
I really hope rockstar sees this video, having different paths to go along for your character would be awesome. I would also like to see the process of getting guns more fleshed out than just getting them at the store, maybe with a mission to get each one or needing to be affiliated with a certain gang.
If the only vehicles capable of flying are planes, helicopters, and blimps it will be a thousand times better. And it needs at least one buisness and one heist at launch
Personally, I don't really care if GTA 6 Online is either more grounded or chaotic, in fact, I think that the best idea would be to make certain servers that would regulate this balance, like in some more passive servers, you could not use your military-grade and futuristic weapons of mass destruction and would have to be more friendly, while in other more aggressive servers, you could go all out. GTA as a series is, to me, all about both the groundedness and chaos, and without a blend of it, I don't think GTA would be the magnificent franchise it is today.
You’re right! I personally feel all the wacky vehicles that they have add more fun to the game but they just don’t belong to GTA, adding a chaotic & a grounded session adds more variety.
I agree with you that GTA Online should be more RP focused, people usually say that GTA 5 was able to live for so long because Rockstar was milking Online as much as they could, but that's just partially true. It lived, and is still living, due to FiveM, so I really think that's the way to go. It's not limited to Roleplay, there are free roam servers and many other things that people who don't like RP can play. I really don't know what to expect so far, but I do believe they may do it, they already own FiveM, so it's just a matter of what they actually what the Online to be, they have pretty much all the freedom they could have to make the best version of it.
They said the acquisition of FiveM had nothing to do with GTA VI or VI online but… do we really believe that? If it gets more people to play why wouldn’t they? A free roam mode like GTA 4’s online would be a lot of fun and roleplay servers would bring in a whole other group of players.
I half agree with you about FiveM. It is such an interesting thing that keeps the Online fresh and is a reason why many people picked up the game. On the other hand, I’ve never played FiveM because I’m a console player and I’ve enjoyed GTAO for years now (Day One) despite having never played with mods. I think the ability to role play is crucial. When I say role play, I don’t mean I want a 9-5 job in my crime simulator. I’m asking to be immersed in all of the possibilities of the world. Not everyone likes feeling like a low level criminal (clearly) and if that’s how you choose to RP then more power to you. I just wish the world and dialogue react better to my character. I don’t want to be treated as some weirdo peon after purchasing every property in the game and having done every job possible. I don’t want to be treated like some professional when I’m clearly new to the game or lifestyle. If I go on rampages or other players do, I want the world to react to that and the NPCs be more on edge or something. I want to role play in the base game how I want to role play.
@@KiLlACaMrOn94 Unfortunately (for now) big game companies actually listen to the console money flow more than PC gamers.. That being said consoles greatly hinder the speed of development achievable.. and console player barely even want to play :D Hot take: this gen of consoles should be the last of consoles outside of VR. We have thousands upon thousands of games on older consoles. Pop in and play, beep boop(?)
@@TheRealBillix if they were to make games only for PC, that would hold games back even more. They have to make it for as wide an audience as possible and PC’s capabilities vary so very widely. With a console, just about everybody is playing with the same specs.
They really need to try harder to keep all the little kids off the servers, it's totally out of control. How to do that is the obvious problem, but I'm sure there's ways to restrict the kids without it being super invasive. Maybe they just do a light version of what the whitelisted RP servers do to verify age, or at least maturity. It's just such a necessary thing at this point. All the kids playing have really hurt the playability of the whole game, it's just not enjoyable 95% of the time. It's a crutch to the whole concept of GTA Online. Getting rid of children and griefers is really the biggest QOL upgrade they could make.
fr, i was doing the og heists with randoms just for fun and i got in a lobby with 13 year olds and they kept harassing me for being a woman (i’m 21), like ffs you are not even supposed to be playing this game
I don’t mind the griefing since GTA is all about stealing BUT my wish is they’d make it more challenging by removing stuff like sticky bombs, homing missiles etc.. People like calling other players griefers when no one forces them to sell their cargo on a public server 😅
"The game must be worth playing for its gameplay". Oh yeah, reason why I sticked with RDRO for so long (untill my PC got wasted). Gameplay on that game is pretty satisfying, and, unpopular opinion, bloody money was a great addition. The small multi-part missions were cool. Wish most missions would be like that.
I half agree. I like the money grind. I like being "CEO" and being the biggest criminal in Los Santos and owning multiple businesses. I like the heists and they're fun with friends, they just need to adjust the payout but that's probably just cause of the economy of the game with their expensive cars that make me think the payout isn't worth it. I absolutely hate the futuristic stuff like flying bikes and cars though. Hopefully they dont return in the future or at the very least dont have weapons like you said. Idk, there's many things that need tweaking for GTAO to be perfect, but i'd say the current state isn't the absolute worst. I enjoy it, I just hope they do something different this time
My main wish is that GTAO2 contains interesting gameplay that can be enjoyed among strangers that transcends the braindead random deathmatch that exists (almost exclusively) in GTAO currently. However, I figure that PVP is probably the main motivator of Shark card sales, so I won't hold my breath on that one.
Here I think almost half the comments never played GTA Online at its beginning, it was truly simple with only 5 heists no casino no bunker… But eventually people would just finish the game and left it what was a big issue for Rockstar and that is why they added those features, it did not appear on a random day
I hope with Rockstar purchasing FiveM they add more role playing aspects to the game. They make some really immersive worlds, and I hope they can give us more options for interacting with it
THANK YOU!!!! SOMEONE THAT GETS IT!! all these other pages just have kid mentality's, your view is way more mature and stable after all the game is an 18!! rated! not for 11 year olds can we get a more realistic immersive game, if these game is kiddy im just not going to get, the single player need to be refined so if you want to play the game solo online you can, all these flying cars and bikes are for kids! and if your a grown up enjoying that then you have issues
@@Stumme-40203 no, the jet pack was not realistic. And Rockstar programmed in cheats in the games going back to GTA III for flying cars and shape shifting. It’s very on brand😂 (Side note; Saints Row copied from GTA more than people realize and… that’s a good thing.)
@@KiLlACaMrOn94 Cheats that make cars fly is completely different from a flying car. That’s like a big head mode. That’s perfectly fine, now what would not be fine is if in the character creator, you could choose an oversized head. At that point it’s no longer just fun and it’s now breaking the immersion. Also jet pack is realistic. We actually do have some, they just aren’t as good as the GTA SA one. The closest to a flying car in that sense is a car with wings, but that’s just a really small plane.
I still can barely comprehend how a game i played in high school for a year is still so stupidly popular in the state that it's in, back in 2015 i was almost sure this game would be run into the ground with the ridiculous amount of greed and hacking down on the fun glitches and stuff....
No. It’s gonna be griefers times 10, people join races can’t drive or joining to ruin it for everybody else. Same old. I hope to god that we can have a solo session.
the gta 6 map also borders north with the main land instead of it being an isolated island like all the previous gta titles, this gives room to future map expansions into georgia and louisiana. hell maybe they'll even collide the red dead universe to the gta universe because there are plenty of ways to do it. Cuba is located just south of florida and is featured in rdr2 as guarma. maybe we'll even see in the far future a modern saint denise (new orleans). in any case, it's obvious that rockstar plans way ahead with their gta 6 online mode. they're gonna try and milk that even more than gta 5 online. and while gta 5 online just happened to be a success. the gta 6 online is gonna be a success regardless and rockstar can plan for that.
It should accommodate to you playing solo. There’s no reason you should be having to sell drugs through 3 UPS vans when you’re on your own. Also, I have a feeling Jason will be a corrupt cop.
@@ElTamex07 Because he’s not a cop. People have just been spreading that rumour around on account that they get clicks on their UA-cam channels/posts on social media.
I really liked the honour system from rdr2 and how that was also featured in online. I think it would be cool to have a more in depth honour system in gta 6, especially online if you dont wanna screw up your storymode save. I'd like to see how the world interacts with a low honour character vs a high honour character, via all the new tech they've supposedly added (tiktok, twitter, etc). Imagine doing some crazy shit in gta online and you get into a police chase or something and kill some civilians, npcs who film that could post it up somewhere and youd gain notoriety/low honour. like if you were a known criminal or something else idk, it would be cool I rekon.
Would be great if there was a ladder system to being a criminal. First doing small jobs and moving your way up to boss level, like selling drugs to the streets until moving up to owning your drug warehouse. Same goes for any other business’s. Stealing or buying supplies just to watch it build is so boring, needs to be more immersive and rewarding
I remember when we only had missions and high-end apartment heists. Sitting in mission 10 minutes before you would start it just to make the max after 15 minutes. If you owned a jet you was rich now if you own an oppressor you have to come off $8 million.
I love the mk2. I am not a griefer and have only ever used it for grinding. The nerf doesn't bother me at all as I only use it for my businesses. It's actually pretty useless in freemode now as a Deluxo takes it out easily. It's not the mk2 that's the problem. It's the toxic idiots who use it. However, if you want to get rid of flying bikes then get rid of all futuristic vehicles.

I would have to poll every single GTA Online player in the world to find out the answer to that but I would be very surprised if there wasn't at least one player who would defend them. Unless you've already done a poll and know the answer to that yourself?
I have completely stopped playing GTA online at this point, They keep adding random businesses and all that and, But it just has no appeal to me. This whole" Oh hey look another business to own and make more money, and buy more cars to drive around the map in, That i have covered every mile of at this point" For what? Just because? To show off my car to the other 30 people who already have it too? I just cant do it anymore And it feels pointless to do the business jobs in a solo lobby. I played GTA online for 9 years, you can only get so much joy out of it. I will play GTA 6 when it comes out, I know ill enjoy it and I'm looking forward to it.
I'm hoping, when GTA VI Online comes out, that they also keep GTA V online going as well. Then make it so anyone who has both V, and VI, will see both "islands" in the one online world. Also do the same for VII, VIII, IX, and X. Then in 50 or so years when GTA X comes out, our grandkids will want GTA V onwards so they can play the GTA Online Archipelago.
I remember when people actually played the fun missions instead of doing the cayo heist over and over. We used to play last team standing where it was snipers vs super cars or rpgs vs insurgents and now no one plays anything except whatever is double money for the week which is usually trash anyways. They don’t care about the community, they care about money and you buying shark cards. And they won’t chnage it cause they don’t have to. Idiots will always keep buyin em.
They need to bring back the invite only lobbies. That's the only way my friends and I have ever played since the game released and it's the reason we never played RDO. It's just way more fun to play in a private server with your friends than in a public one.
You mean for GTA VI? I agree that it should have that from jump, not have to wait for years to get an invite only lobby. Shoot, not even months. It’s essential to peace of mind when playing Online. I love Online but, I prefer to play alone out with friends.
Modern gtao is basically just an unoptimized collection of minigames and missions that give you wildly varying amounts of money, basically everything from the start of its life cycle isn’t worth doing because they haven’t adjusted them to match the economy and ecosystem of gtao, while all the newer stuff, specifically from the ps4/Xbox one area is either completely unchanged making it irrelevant (see:ceo offices being some of the most expensive properties in the game but are just slightly better than the bikers content), insanely lucrative (which they in turn nerf because shark card sales), or is implemented in a state that matches their current money making guidelines (basically 300k-500k per hour per person). So many activities are insanely tedious, not worth the cash made, or both.
I bet it's going to be the same grind fest, trying to get enough cash to buy way overpriced crap. Sharkcards will return. R* logic "if it ain't broke don't fix it,if it's broke don't fix it."
I haven't finished this video yet, but I'd like everyone to keep in mind that Rockstar now owns CFX which are responsible for the behemoth that is "FiveM" more famously known as GTA RP, modifications tools made to give independent devs the power to turn GTA into roleplay. You can keep the soul of GTA and still make it more RP friendly. Rockstar are going to make their money from sharkcards and lock things behind paywalls in order to promote you to buy those, but you could still develop a more evolved form of GTA Online I hope they do something good with it.
GTA online went down hill once they added the futuristic content they could’ve kept the doomsday concept as the story mode dlc cause that was the day all the wannabe tryhards was born
there should not even be a gta 6 online imo at least not right off only single player dlc but they have learned there is too much money to be made so we know there probably will be one
Gta 6 can only be good if they make a shark card cost 1 dollar, but you get a trillion dollars. That would make good game. I would know, ive played games before.
I think they should give multiple choices on **which** gta online, players want to play. Since it is obvious most people either love or hate gta 5's online due to player interaction being more of a nuisance than a fun experience if youre just trying to make money. Best case scenario they make 2 or more modes, one is the freemode similar to gta 4 mp for people who just want to mess around and have fun. and the more economic/making money focused version that came with gta online, and could probably flesh that version out more. I doubt it will happen since the economy focues version will obviously get them more money due to microtransactions but I'd love to see it happen nonetheless
I just hope that the economy will be decently balanced. It gets boring doing cayo perico back to back to back because all other alternatives are way less rewarding, especially the older missions. The first heist in gta 6 should still be a viable option after years of updates or else things become too repetetive and the feeling of metagaming takes over.
Wasn't G.T.A. 5 Online originally going to have an update in 2020 that let you play as the police, but then got cancelled because of that scumbag who died?
I mainly want a focus on things happening in the open world, making it a true sandbox. I never liked how many missions were in instances. Dynamic gameplay is what I want more of. (And no minimal icons for random Players)
The prices also got stupidly insane. Went from spending $200,000 maybe at most for customizing vehicles except for a select few that were expensive such as the Adder, to now a Camaro GTA version in the game costing $2million without any customizations
I have refrained from purchasing this particular game due to my anticipation of it becoming monotonous over time. Similarly, I avoid acquiring military games for the same reason. I never owned GTA V and never will. GTA VI, I will buy an entire PS5, just not a gamer like that. But I am looking forward to it. Great video.
I see your point, but isnt fair. If we did get to choose paths, how many people would get annoyed/stop playing because they have to start over a new character just to try something new? gta 5 like you said, allows you to rob banks, run auto shops and save the world. I do completly agree with people saying 6 should be a lot like RP and I would put money on thats what Rockstar will do. Good video.
I think something that would lend a lot more fun to GTA would simply be custom servers and a server browser. Maybe some kind of implementation of the Rockstar Editor features into online, like ability to play as NPC characters for roleplaying and custom edited map scenarios.
I remember GTAOs launch was so buggy that I had to create my character 10 times before they finally fixed it. By then I had figured out the best car to steal as my starting car, the Gauntlet. Man I feel old... hopefully GTA6 Online launches in a better state.
Agreed, more "role" type stuff could be quite fun, similar to rdr online. That and more businesses and opportunities that are actually different from one another rather than all of them being "drive halfway across the map, shoot, go here, take, shoot, drive back halfway across the map, go home with $30". You can somewhat do this in gta online now but you'd be limiting yourself to select few buisnesses depending on your "role". For example.. - you could take the role of a big crime boss kingpin, owning night clubs, warehouses, offices etc.. but one likely would not do anything with auto shops, biker buisnesses, and similar. - you could take the role of a more underground and quiet criminal organization, hangers, chop shops, even night club could work here too since its basically a front. - Strictly Biker org, mainly using biker buisnesses for obvious reasons. - Corrupt government agent (think IAA, agent 14, kind of way. Bonus points if you do the IAA badge glitch.) Gun running, paper trail and Doomsday as "ops", robbing the casino, hanger cargo, and perico. Are all technical ways and opportunities to have a sort of role or rp sense but just barely.
its strange hearing my exact thoughts, i feel a worthy mention would've been the money-apocalypse and how that was essentially the cause if the extreme price increase on everything, I never felt it was reasonable to price a car in game double/triple what it would cost IRL, i even felt the Zentorno all the way back in High Life was overpriced by 300k.
Career paths in GTA 6 online would be SO FUN! Cops and robbers style as an example would be really fun like the original idea that they had for GTA 5 online. Maybe not a terf war style of game, but maybe like how it is right now in GTA 5 online where you have to stop other people from completing jobs. An idea that I also had was to make it kinda like "gang wars" were each gang (and the cops would act as a gang) would have access to different places and vehicles, but also have their on restrictions. As some example's; Cops can't target civilians, gang A's bounties are doubled, gang B are only allowed to use explosives.
@CaptainGlack, I think that we think alike in the matter of Modern GTAO. I agree with all that you said and am in this when it started back in 1st October 2013. I can say that the real reason why I've been playing GTAO nowadays is that I love how R* Games can make an impression even when games like Watch Dogs, Cyberpunk and triple A games can't even stand a chance against GTA features. And I've been working on something that really is mindblowing in the near future when GTAVI comes out. If you like realism, RP kind of stuff and really into cars (steering wheel games) on PS5, well, thats something to get excited about! Anyways, GTA is my youth and it will be my future, thats why I watched until the end of your video, ty bro.

That would be my ideal gta online.
gta online has proved to be corporate theft auto online rather than a gta and its been a minute
For real
I really hope it actually ends up feeling like your a low level criminal clawing your way to the top with detailed heists
Frrr, I like how you can just be entering Los Santos on a new save and a couple seconds later you're taking down the cartel 😭
Ironically, I think GTA Online was more fun back in 2013.
believe it or not, thats just nostalgia speaking. i remember playing it back in 2013, a mess of a start, i loved it, but it also got boring rlly quick.
They should allow us to make multiple characters with different stories. Kinda like a MMO. For example: in Star Wars: The Old Republic. I could be a Jedi, A Sith Warrior or Bounty Hunter etc. Each character felt different and unique.
Yes, I hate the current model for GTAO and RDO. You get two characters MAX in GTA and ONLY ONE in RDO.
They should definitely take the mmo route considering online will last for another decade at the minimum
Gta aint an mmo nerd
I really like the bit about role playing giving your character/ the game, more direction! This is very true, and would love to see it.
Some additional points I might add:
1. Use of kitchens, and fully functional grocery stores. (In MMORPGs, food gives you buffs on health and whatnot.)
2. Starbucks for some social hubs!!
3. GTA 5 has assassin work in it; but make “assassin” be one of the roles you were talking about. (Like Bounty Hunter, in RDR2)
4. Keep the CEO executive as another path,!but loose the outlandish business ventures. (Hangers, bunkers, ext.)
5. bring back ability to give players 💰.

Being that Rockstar recently bought the RP version that people use online, I’m looking forward to them possibly being open to this style of online gameplay
they need multiple ways of getting good amounts of money, instead of forcing players to do the same heist 1000 times
Should have like A shit ton of heists man they barley have heists apartment heist dimond casino cayco doomsdays that’s all bro come on
The fact that most people would rather play online, in an empty lobby without any other players shows how much the game has fallen apart.
The biker stuff is really old too that fits into classic imo
W comment✅✅
I kinda wished we just had online story missions like those or like the trevor heists. Keep it "local". Not this global issue that requires 4 randoms to save the world
I really hope rockstar sees this video, having different paths to go along for your character would be awesome. I would also like to see the process of getting guns more fleshed out than just getting them at the store, maybe with a mission to get each one or needing to be affiliated with a certain gang.
I agree. GTA 5 is so lame, flying bikes, micro transactions, the roleplay is so stupid because of unrealistic driving physics and gameplay dynamics...
If the only vehicles capable of flying are planes, helicopters, and blimps it will be a thousand times better. And it needs at least one buisness and one heist at launch
Bro Roccstar need this nicca on they team immediately‼️, bro was straight cooking for 9 minutes.👨🏾🍳

I think that would be a great solution!
You’re right! I personally feel all the wacky vehicles that they have add more fun to the game but they just don’t belong to GTA, adding a chaotic & a grounded session adds more variety.
Gameplay in background is really nice to watch👍
Fr I feel like the majority of gta online now is just kids between 11-16
I don’t mind the griefing since GTA is all about stealing BUT my wish is they’d make it more challenging by removing stuff like sticky bombs, homing missiles etc..
I agree with you on this. Their content is good but we need more balance.
MUCH more balance. 😂
I enjoy it, I just hope they do something different this time
I’m investing a like and a subscribe into this channel early I would love to see consistent content from you
My main wish is that GTAO2 contains interesting gameplay that can be enjoyed among strangers that transcends the braindead random deathmatch that exists (almost exclusively) in GTAO currently. However, I figure that PVP is probably the main motivator of Shark card sales, so I won't hold my breath on that one.
i play gta online strictly for the private lobby...i honestly enjoy online a whole lot better than i wouldve
Me too, biggest W Rockstar made for online was allowing us to work on our businesses while on private lobby.
Here I think almost half the comments never played GTA Online at its beginning, it was truly simple with only 5 heists no casino no bunker…
But eventually people would just finish the game and left it what was a big issue for Rockstar and that is why they added those features, it did not appear on a random day
I think that gta online got too unreal… the mf flying bike and huge bunkers… gta vi online should be more simple
I really liked Franklins agency working kinda like a private mercenary.
Same it's what I mostly do now
Im excited to play gta 6 cant wait
man roleplaying mode would be sick, playin as a cop would be sick as well
Trevor would callnyou a Government Gimp 😂
You know flying bikes and cars have been in GTA for over twenty years, right?
@@KiLlACaMrOn94No. The closest to a flying car was the Jet-Pack, but that’s still realistic.

My problem with GTA Onljne, it’s really Repetitive, and really boring.

Gurama could be many things for gta 6 since igs close to florida
It should accommodate to you playing solo. There’s no reason you should be having to sell drugs through 3 UPS vans when you’re on your own. Also, I have a feeling Jason will be a corrupt cop.

GTA VI online simply shouldn’t exist if it’s anything like gta V online
Thank you for making this I was playing gta and thinking about this subject. hopefully rockstar sees this
Would be great if there was a ladder system to being a criminal.
If you owned a jet you was rich now if you own an oppressor you have to come off $8 million.
should be more of a gta 4 online, it was perfect

I love the mk2. I am not a griefer and have only ever used it for grinding. The nerf doesn't bother me at all as I only use it for my businesses. It's actually pretty useless in freemode now as a Deluxo takes it out easily. It's not the mk2 that's the problem. It's the toxic idiots who use it. However, if you want to get rid of flying bikes then get rid of all futuristic vehicles.

Now consider the import/export missions this sort of expansion could offer ;)
It’s a possibility for sure, and if that’s the case they just need to make it fun. Way more than V’s online.

I just play Online very, very casually. Clothing should not cost an arm and leg
I want the next gta onllne to be more grounded and gritty like iv was no flying cars laser guns gets and stupid things like that
I mainly want a focus on things happening in the open world, making it a true sandbox.
I would love the opportunity to have my online character part of an outlaw biker club like The Lost MC from Gta4.
That’s the thing tho, it doesn’t work for YOU, but for the most part gta online is super fun and it’s obvious by how many people still play it
Yea he’s kinda of nitpicking for views
id really love to own a load of nightclubs in gta VI and base my character around that but idk if thats even going to be possible
The most stupid thing for me are car prices... I just robbed the biggest casino on Earth and got 1/2 of the BMW X5 which is so idiotic
Having players arrest you will be annoying asf
