- Previous Homeowner left this overgrown place a mess here in Mowssouri. So, we got the call to come in and mow this overgrown lawn. We knocked it out with the zero turn stander mower and Ventrac! Plus, we ran into a little issue with our equipment. And found a LOT of junk in the yard! Check it out. Hope you guys enjoy!

Well, i just had a full on fantasy play out in my head over this one! I jumped in and cleaned up all that trash, then i mowed and trimmed around everything. Then a had several tons of gravel brought in for that driveway. I built a huge chicken coup and got that all fenced in and proceeded to till and plant a garden and about 50 fruit trees. I put in a garden shed, complete with a canning kitchen and underground cold storage. I built a pond with a waterfall feature and a huge rock firepit surrounded by a rock garden with natural wood and stone elements for seating and stacked wood and kindling! Now i only have to mow about 2 acres. And i did it all in 30 minutes! Thanks for the mental ride! 😂😂
Oh wow! You really made that place your own. Lots of work went into all that. Lots of planning to. Sounds like a place you would really like to call home. Thanks for taking the time to watch. Be sure to check out Part 2 and let me know what you would do to the area around back by the shops…
That’s the thing about overgrown properties. You can never tell what you will find. It is what makes life a challenge.
Absolutely! Never know what is underneath all that tall grass. I try to watch out, but sometimes you just hope for the best. I think this one went about as good as it could. Thanks for watching!
That little rake is used to clear out dead leaves n old mildewed mulch from under n around bushes in flowerbeds. It s quite handy especially in smaller spaces in between closely planted bushes. 😉
It was very small lol.
Cameron- I had stopped watching your channel as for some reason I thought you had got rid of the Ventrac. I would have thought that yard would have totally been a job for the tough cut but the stander took care of business. Nice work!
Thanks for coming back to watch! Lots of Ventrac videos coming. Just been super busy running the business. Hope all is well and thanks again for the support!
Man that was a large lot, good work, stay safe.😅
Thank you for watching! More vids coming...
What a beautiful property. So sad it is abandoned 😢. Great job . Looks great 😊
Super nice property! Hopefully it will get into the right hands and the new owners will take care of it. Thank you for watching. I appreciate it.
That’s a very professional job you did
Thank you! I think this one turned out really good considering what we started with. Appreciate you taking the time to watch!
That is such an awesome location for a house. All that yard without a neighbor right up next to it. I bet a person living there would see all kinds of wildlife. That wrap around porch would be much better if it was boxed in halfway up with bricks and windows up next to roof. Then could watch all wildlife in all seasons. Awesome video.
Very nice location! And yes, lots of wildlife to see on that property. Really peaceful out there. Thanks for taking the time to watch. Stay tuned for Part 2…
@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri cannot wait for part 2. Don't understand why people leave those houses looking such mess. Why not pickup trash before they move on. You made it look fantastic around the house.
I wish I could afford to buy an abandoned property like this one. I love your videos, please make more.
This would be an awesome property to own! Really nice and peaceful out there. Thanks for taking time to watch. More vids coming...
Beautiful land. I didn’t know there was that much level land in Missouri! I live about 30 miles southwest of St. Louis in Cedar Hill and all I have is steep hills, rocks and weeds. Loved that house. Concrete porches with the large overhang . No fussy plants, shrubs, and bushes. Liked the outbuildings. Would move there in a second!
Very nice place! I would move there in a second. Middle of nowhere, lots of land, beautiful house. Count me in! Thanks for taking time to watch. Lots of flat ground around here...
Wow that's going to be a nice place when it's finished.
Absolutely! Stay tuned for part two. Appreciate you taking the time to watch. Have a great weekend! 👍
The property looks great once you got it under control! Great job, really enjoyed watching this video.😊
Thank you! I appreciate the support.
This was a huge property to cut ,you did a great job, this was a job for two people.
Thank you so much. Definitely a big one to tackle! But it went pretty smooth for the most part. Appreciate you taking the time to watch! Part 2 was just uploaded…
Great job on cutting all that grass. Maybe the owner should revert to 17th century grass cutting, like having a flock of sheep to keep it short!!!
Now that’s an idea! They would definitely keep it maintained! Appreciate you taking the time to watch! 👍
That Ferris looked like it cut really good on that tall stuff
It does a great job!
Absolutely a phenomenal transformation! Beautiful house and huge piece of property. Love it and would be proud to own it. I can picture beautiful flower pots on the porch, with nice patio chairs, some more trees planted in the yard, including fruit trees, a nice fireplace with chairs around it, flower boxes at the other buildings and scrubs planted in front of the house and along the other buildings, lots of perennials and annuals and last, but not least, a huge garden! Loved the video and looking forward to more! God Bless you and your family!
Very very nice place! That would be the perfect setup for sure. Appreciate you taking time to watch. Hope you have a great day and as always #GodProvides☝️
AMEN! The Lord always provides! Have a great day!
@sharonmcneely3471 thank you!
Wow!!! Awesome!! Keep being them!!
Thank you! Appreciate you watching!
Great job!!!! What a beautiful piece of property and I love the porch that goes all the way around the house. I would for sure screen it all in in order to enjoy the porch at all times of the day and night.
Yeah, a screened in wrap around porch would be super nice! Very nice piece of land out here. So peaceful!
Wow! I can't understand how such a nice property gets so trashed. I really liked the return of the overgrown makeover!! (EDIT) It looked like someone was trying to sabotage the clean up with those wire things!!!
Thank you for coming back! Yeah, I don’t think the previous owners were very happy when they left. Left the yard all grown up and things scattered everywhere! Appreciate your continued support. More Overgrown makeovers coming…
Nice piece of property. Well, gas and septic?
Nice clean up!! 😎👍
Oh yeah! They’ve got it all out there. Very nice piece of land. Stay tuned for the rest of the cleanup. 👍
What a good job it looks wonderful.sorry you had trouble with lawn mower.thats a nice house to bad it's empty.love videos
Thank you so much. Got it cleaned up. Now it’s ready for the new owners. They’ll have a nice lawn to enjoy and a nice view. Really nice property. Thanks for taking the time to watch!
Your years of experience show as your one of the only guys on the web to 'cross mow' which give a cleaner cut to the lawn!
Another awesome video,🙌🥇🙌 just wondering why you chose the standing cutter over the seated one for such a large land coverage?
Greetings from Singapore
Thank you for tuning in from Singapore! The cross cut definitely helps disperse the clippings and make things look a little cleaner. As for the stander, they are much more comfortable to run compared to the sit down mowers. Your entire body kinda absorbs the impact instead of constant pounding on the back. Appreciate the support! Thanks again for taking time to watch.
Dang big yard! Both house n yard are pretty.
Absolutely! Really nice property!
First time watching your video.. great job!! New subscriber ❤
Thank you!!!! I appreciate you taking the time to watch and thank you for the support! 👍

Man, that second mowing pass made a huge difference n going opposite way ensured good mulching up of grass clippings. 👍
Yeah, it really does!

Wow, I'm amazed you didn't pick up all the junk prior to mowing!?
I walked the property, but don’t like to spend too much time in the tall grass. Lots of snakes and ticks here in this area. Thanks for watching!
Love your work. And I wish that property was mine
Thanks a lot! It really is a nice property...especially once it's cleaned up!
So much better!! The property is actually really beautiful. Awesome job!

Great job😊
Thank you for watching!
Seeing you pull that wire out of the grass reminds me of a yard we did a month ago. Someone had pulled the metal from a box spring out of the burn pile and left it in the tall grass. It took me a good half hour to untangle that mess from all 3 blades.
🤦♂️ Oh wow! That’s awful. Thankfully I didn’t get into a mess like that. But it was very possible on this one. I figured it was just a matter of time before I got wrapped up. Somehow made it out of there without major damage. Thanks for watching!!!
You should gather all the trash in that open garage
A crew came on in behind me with a dumpster and cleaned it all up. Thank you for watching! 😎💯👍
Hello Cameron! Great video. Keep ‘em coming!! Take care and God Bless!! Sincerely, Diane 😊

Awesome! Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the feedback. 👍
A great job as usual what was wrong with you on mower that it wouldn’t start was it’s a electrical fault Best wishes from the UK
Thank you so much. Th mower is having some type of electrical issue. It’s at the dealer right now. Hoping they have figured it out! Thanks again for watching!
What a transformation. You had a rough job and you handled it like a pro. Good job and thanks for your good video. Take care.
Thank you. I appreciate that!
VERY Nice JOB keep UP the Nice Work
Thank you for the continued support! I really appreciate it. 👍😎💯
Awesome
Thank you for watching! 👍
Wonderful work; gorgeous property. Would love to live there, however the upkeep would be crazy.
Thank you! This is a really nice property. And with a little more cleanup work, it would be even nicer! Thank you for watching. 👍
I don’t understand why you wouldn’t 1. Carry a trimmer with you to at least highlite rubbish areas, 2. Pull a small trailer around initially to collect some of the larger pieces of rubbish. 3. Mow the residence/ out building areas first after weed whacking them. They are where the true “ value” of the property is; as well as its improved beauty. You’ve got nice equipment- obviously, but costly to repair and difficult to justify in “ downtime” maintenance…. Oh, and carry a can or two of spray paint ( fluorescent green or yellow) so heavy brush, rocks, poles, pits, bees nests or animal burrows can be identified and/ or handled separately after appearance cosmetics are completed. Good luck brother- to you and your family….😮😮😊😊
Thank you for watching! Lots of different ways to clean up a property for sure. I took the mower first so I could see the snakes before they bit me lol. Once the lawn is halfway mowed down you can see what you're getting into. Too many rattlesnakes and copperheads around here to venture off into the tall grass with the trimmer first.
Great job brother!! Gotta get my hands on a stand on mower sometime! I bet it would make trimming fence lines a blast!! Take care buddy! Josh
Hey man, thanks for watching! You would love a stander. Much easier on the body as well. I’ve trimmed many fence lines while riding on the stander lol. Really nice running the backpack blower in big subdivisions as well. Have a good weekend, Josh! 👍
Love yards like this! Did the same but walked it for an hour and stacked all the crap onto concrete pad and new homeowner was pumped as yard just needed tras gone and it was perfect! Great work ✊
Oh wow, that’s awesome! So satisfying showing up to an overgrown mess and using your equipment to make it look nice and clean again. Thanks for taking the time to watch. I appreciate it.
Awesome video
Thanks for the continued support! Appreciate you taking the time to watch. Stay tuned for part 3…
Such a pretty spot and if the house was fixed up it would be phenomenal!
Absolutely! The house looked really nice. I hope the inside wasn't a mess like the outside. Really nice piece of land. Appreciate you watching!

@aaronburford5701 well thank you for that. Oh yeah, there’s so much more for you guys to see. Stay tuned…
Loved the video and especially the style of cut you do its not just slashed down you went over it so many times to give it that well maintained look like it was never a mess. fantastic work mate.
Thank you! I appreciate that.
good job
Thank you!
I guess your mower got tired and decided to play possum with you.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hahahaha 😂 that’s exactly what it was doing! Thanks For watching!!!!
Beautiful property! You cleaned it right up. Great job 😊
Really nice property! I did my best on this one. I think it mowed really well considering the mess it was in. Thanks for watching!
I would love to understand why the mower would not start...IF somebody out there needs their own Content, help this man out and figure out what is wrong with this mower! God Provides.
I’ve replaced the safety switches, ignition switch, and pto switch. Still hasn’t fixed the issue. Hopefully we can figure something out soon! I’m afraid it may be the main engine wiring harness. Appreciate you taking the time to watch! Have a great wknd. 😎👍💯
I had that happen on my Z3X last year. Ended up being a burned up clutch. It completely melted the wires on the clutch. I was told by the dealer it is a known problem with Ferris. After the fixed the clutch, the rpm’s were off. When you run the mower everyday you can just hear the change in
pitch. Dealer told me they tested and it was fine. I went back & forth for 2 weeks with the dealer. That ended up being a bad throttle assembly.
You’re right…. Just one issue after another. It’s a shame because I really like the mower when it is working correctly.
@mikeh1564 Yeah, 100% it could be a really nice machine. Way too many common problems though. Dealer just replaced main wiring harness so we’ll see if that helps. Frustrating for sure. Thanks for watching!
@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri maybe it needed to cool off and then would have started
This mower has been tricky since day one. Finally got the company to fix it. It needed a relay that didn’t come on the machine brand new. But haven’t had any issues after they added it to the mower.
First time watching and subscribed. This transformation is very satisfying! Can’t wait to see more videos!
That’s awesome! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch. Part two coming soon. Appreciate you watching and subscribing! 👍
That was one of the more satisfying videos of yours filmed in that timelapse. It's funny, everytime I hear all of that music you used in this vid, it reminds me of you and your channel. Anytime I hear it somewhere else, you come to mind. That music has become a part of your persona, at least to me, and it is now impressed within my thoughts. I do believe you have begun a cult, Cameron. A JESUS CULT!! I love it. You actually made that house good looking. It's a good day when all you have to do is concentrate ten feet ahead of you and let the world crumble around you while you make your little corner of the world all clean and refreshed. I think you'd be a cool dude to hang out with. Keep making the great content and blessing everyone, brother.
Appreciate the kind words. Thank you for taking time to watch the video. That was a fun job to knock out. A little challenging, but it turned out looking great. Thanks again for the support. I really appreciate it.
I like your style of double and or triple mow. Not going over it the same direction. Reason, dispersion. A more even spread pattern and finer clippings, I think. Great looking place though. Have a blessed day.
You got it! Gotta switch up the stripe pattern to disperse clippings better and leave a nice clean cut after tackling grass this tall and thick. Appreciate you taking the time to watch. Very nice property! Thankful that I could clean it up and make it look better. Stay tuned for Part 2! Have a blessed weekend!
Fabulous job! Huge property and a lot of trash! That mower did a great job but I’m surprised you didn’t use the vintrac on it first
Thank you!!! The Ventrac does better in the taller/thicker brush. But the zero turn will leave a nicer cut. Lots of trash to move and pick up for sure. Glad that one is done! Appreciate you checking out the video! Stay tuned for Part 2…
Me suscribi a su canal .. porqué me gustó mucho su trabajo, saludos desde Tijuana BC México 👏🏻👍,👋🙏
Thank you for tuning in from Mexico! Appreciate you subscribing to the channel. Stay tuned for more videos!
That was a lot to mow, the home is beautiful. Is it for sale? Wondering.😊
Ohhh yeah! But there’s even MORE that I mowed while I was out there. Stay tuned for Part 2! It may be for sale in the future…
It's sad to see home owners being so lazy not to pick up their own lawn before hiring a contractor to cut their lawn. I would hate to see how they keep the inside of their home looks like if they keep the outside so crazy. Great video, thank you for sharing
Yeah, something was definitely up for the previous homeowner to leave it in such a mess. There has to be more to the story. Appreciate you taking the time to watch! Stay tuned for Part 2!
My assumption is that, if this wasn't a rental, the previous owner was foreclosed on and they were bitter and trashed the place. You should have seen some of the properties I was mowing for BoA during the housing crash twelve plus years ago. People were stripping all of the wiring out of their homes before they vacated. Some intentionally did as much damage to the homes as they could. They'd leave windows open, which in Florida is a great recipe for mold to build up, especially if they'd already stripped the AC unit.
I hope you charged a grand for that job. Massive property that was massively overgrown.
It seems like you never charge enough on these jobs. Always MORE work than you think lol. It was a pretty big cleanup, but you haven’t even seen the rest of the job yet…
Every time I see the thumbnail and the title of the video. I always think this is going to be a good video every Love your video so much keep up the great work keep it going in Missouri.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you!!! I appreciate the continued support here on the channel. More videos coming soon….
@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri It's always good when you upload
If I were you I’d take your mower to your nearest lawnmower repair shop and have them look into the ignition system of that mower I bet there’s a wire that’s either missing or disconnected somewhere
Appreciate the feedback! So far, I've replaced all safety switches, ignition switch, and pto switch. I'm afraid it may be the main wiring harness. Hopefully I'll get it fixed soon! Thanks so much for taking the time to watch. 👍
That’s a nice house. Was it abandoned?
Hey Dave! It was a very nice house! The previous owners had to move out and left it in a mess. Thanks for taking the time to watch!
...No doubt. Just concerned your being as efficient as possible. We all have our ..." Bio- logical" challenges. Peace...😊
Maravilhoso trabalho. Parabéns 👏
Thank you so much. Appreciate you watching!
I'd have probably hit some of that stuff because I'd have started right out with the Ventrac. Hope it's nothing serious on your mower and thanks for the video.
The Ventrac Tough Cut does good on heavy brush, but it doesn’t leave a nice clean cut like the mower. Appreciate you watching the video! Hopefully I can figure something out on the zero turn. I’ll keep you posted. Stay tuned for part two!
Would you have any information on the goggles that your wearing. I am interested in them thank you sir. Awesome job on the clean up. I don't do lawns but I do trash outs and you did a great job 👍
Thank you! I appreciate that. I put a link in the description for you if you're interested in checking out the glasses. Thanks again for watching!
I'm not sure if you'll see this so long after you posted the video. Maybe the Ferris is up and running again. Either way, maybe this will help someone. If you're mower is fuel injected, you'll hear the fuel pump engage when the key is turned to the on position. If you get that much, you know you're battery and fuel are just likely fine. You've already checked the safety switch, did that include all of the wires running to and from the actual switch? I had a wire fault running from the switch on an old wright. If those are good, check the starter and associates wires. Also, and perhaps first, check your ground wire and all of the relays between the key switch and ignition components. If put money on the relays but I had another wright with a bad ground wire and the machine was DOA until i replaced it
Thank you for the feedback! I really appreciate it. We think it was the main wiring harness on the mower. Just replaced it with a new one so 🤞. Thanks for watching!
My mower wont start if its switched off with the blades engaged ?
We have those same weeds here in Australia
Thanks for tuning in from Australia! Appreciate you taking the time to watch! 👍
Have you always had problems with your Z3X? Was considering getting one.
People leave all kinds of stuff. It’s odd.
Very odd! I couldn’t imagine leaving a mess like that for someone else to clean up. But that’s the world we live in today. Thanks for watching!
Any chance this property is available?
Not that I know of. Thanks for taking the time to watch!
you should have metal detected before mowing
Not a bad idea! But I could have been out there all week doing that lol. Thanks for watching!
How long did this take you?
Probably a few hours to clean up around the house. Thanks for watching!
Blades have to be turned off for the mower to start ??
Yes!
Maybe new owners will take all that scrap metal to a recycling center along with any old non working appliances in the house. ♻️ Donate any other items or appliances not wanted.
Yeah, they'll probably have plenty to haul off.
Did mow get vapor lock or filter clogged, or no gas.
None of those, but the dealer thinks he has figured it out. They replaced the main wiring harness as that has been a known problem for this particular machine. Hoping that helps! Thanks for watching!
Where are you located?
Located in MO
Is this house abandoned? Or he just left a mess for to clean. Up his yard??
They left it in a mess when they moved out...
I guess that I just don’t understand why people don’t put shit in the trash instead of the yard!!
In the trash would have been a lot better place! Thanks for watching!
What was the wire?
I’m not sure 🤷♂️. Thanks for taking the time to watch!
