Hi David you answered my question about robbers attacking my 6 hives sadly went to check them this morning i think all 6 are dead only a few bee coming out of one and i think they are robbers . I greatly appreciate all you do. Still following going to try agian next year.
I'm in the UK and everyone I talk to feed 2:1 in Autumn. What do the bees do differently on 1:1 compared to 2:1

David, you had a question about queenless hives. This is my question. Yesterday, I inspected the one hive that I thought was queenless. I'm 100% sure that it is. No spotted queen no BIAS. I was thinking of combining it with the strong hive next to it but got to thinking "why bother." The dwindling hive is made up of summer bees and will be dying soon. There is little for them to forage on so they won't be contributing to bringing in resources. Won't they just be more "mouths" to feed going into winter?
great job in the green chair ,, i did inspections ,tested for mites ,gave apiguard trays and filled in hive feeders today here in south eastern connecticut..i still have a high mite count i'm working on .hives all had ,eggs brood ,pollen and great syrup stores,buttttt i found 4 swarm cells,capped in 1 healthy looking hive...i left them for a day to think about what to do ..scrape em ????
Leave the sounds. Gives a real atmosphere. I also hope you guys still decorate for Halloween and make Bourbon Balls again this Christmas 2.0.

I love green chair Friday love it and I have a question. I just harvest, my honey just one hive. I bought myself a refractometer and I didn’t take anything more than a 17 1/2 when I loaded the 5 gallon bucket why would it be at an even 18 percent, thank you Charlie PA

Just tell the guy who caught the late swarm to shop for Bettercomb online and then feed the bees heavily through the winter.
It seems you don't know there is drawn out comb in the market, all you say is the bees have no time to draw comb. there is always time to use the drawn out comb for the bees.
What food would you suggest for extreme cold weather.
