- I finally replaced the harness that was in my car because it was out of a convertible and nothing worked because of that. So now that I installed the correct coupe harness everything works! I hope you could learn something in this video!

Hey man, thanks for sharing the first hand knowledge! I'm about to throw a full interior back into my turbo E30 and I'm wondering if you think the sound deadening was worth all the hassle. Not sure if you have it back on the road yet.
Yes, sound deadening is always worth it. Just changes the quality feel of the car, let alone the drop in noise level. I'm combining this with an interior refurb, so everything will already be out of the car which helps.

Where did you find how to do this? I have to replace the piece of harness that connects to my ignition coils and I'm not trying to break anything.
That was a small harness compared to what i have in my E39 hole moley xD the old beemers are so much better :D
Does anyone know what gauge wiring is used for the harness? I’m redoing mine and need to know.
Maybe get a headstrap for the gopro? That way you can work with both hands and you can make better videos.

Wouldn’t feel too bad about windows etc not working, I’ve got an almost all original mtech2 325 i (apart from m50 swap) and most of the body electrics don’t work 😜

I just worked through that window diagram a few weeks ago when my windows went out. Did pedal work and unplugged the ground by accident like an idiot :(
