Great video as always! I've been seeing the negativity on Reddit as well. Personally, I like your videos and think they're valuable. Sure, they're generally positive, but you do call out things that are bad, like in your M3s 4k review recently. I think it's more of a statement of the times. Mice are just better now than they've ever been and there's a lot of good to talk about. Beyond the review portion of your videos, I think they make a great showcase for these mice. No one else does shape comparisons like you do, and I really do enjoy that segment of your reviews. Let the haters hate, you've got a good thing going!

Im planning on running a Razer Bask V3 Pro for my every day use mouse as well as RPG's and less serious gaming, and its a crazy expensive mouse so I am hoping to grab a cheaper mouse for pure fps shooters as I play them slightly less than rpg's.. As of today what would you recommend as the best fps mouse for under 100 cad dollars (about 75 usd)?

hi @aimadapt i v got the A5Pro Max and 4K dongle, i struggled to find the correct software. So now with the same software version that you posted in the video, i have my mouse working but 1) the mouse firmware in my case is 1.24 and software says that is updated 2) the 4k dongle is not recognised by the software while it is recognised by the software on the website. Could you please share the software that your using via google drive? Thank you

Subjectively, height of the mouse is problem almost for lot of these chinese mice. GPX is allrounder because of the 40mm height. If you have bigger hands, 38mm is not enough for claw/palm.

@@johncarlovelasquez444 A5 have better coating and build than X3, the weight and balance of X3 are heavy on the back because the battery put on the back of the mouse, you must move it to the front to balance the mouse (and funny enough, my friend mouse battery are stick on the sensor, lol), and the Kail G.M 8.0 is not good compare to Huano Blueshell Pink dot. It's just my personal opinion, you can get the X3 if you like and know how to fix it (like use grip tape for it, move the battery, and update firmware to fix Caps Lock bug). Sorry for my bad English.

These budget top tier Chinese mice have caught up to big brand names that are overpriced due to marketing.
Only thing they lack is coating which is solved by grips or spray painting. I have been using VGN dragonfly f1 pro and attack shark x3 and compared to something like delux m800 from couple of years ago, they are day and night.
They've already started to make coating, like the new-released VXE(VGN) r1 pro and r1 pro max. Ofc they are not as good as those top tier ones, but at least it's better than nothing.

@@muhammadghiffarirafiansyah2268 Click latency is about the same according to techpower (0.5ms less for dragonfly for same debounce) pro versions. I don't own the pro delux but I own the pro f1 and based on that comparison: 1) Side buttons on delux are very bad, wobble all over. Don't know if this changed in the pro version but I doubt it since shell seems same. You need ask someone else or google 2) Delux is a bigger mouse but also much heavier 70 grams vs 50

4k dongle is so bad, offical app from maicong didnt dectect it.

@@nguyenanhtai5347 I haven't but I had informed my reseller the issue and it was said that the copy i got was outdated and my new one is on the way. I will be receiving the new dongle 2 days later, I will tryna update u as soon as i can on whether the problem is fixed or not.

@@magapapa8308 Is your 4k dongle's bottom black or gray?. If it is black then you got the old version and ain't no way it gonna pair; you should tryna contact your seller for a new one. The one with dark rubber at the bottom is somewhat of an outdated version and the one that is 4k pairable should have a gray rubber on the bottom side. I reached out to my seller, got my new unit and 4k is working completely fine now.

I'm kinda sure that your copy might have a black rubber at the bottom, the updated and 4k pairable should have the color gray, which is the new unit i got sent by retailer, and it is working normally now - both the software and the hardware.

I suggest getting the Zaopin Z1 pro if you're already comfortable with the Egg shape, but VXE R1 Pro is a safe shape

I started watching you not too long ago but probably over 15 reviews and you rarely dish out any negative comments / critiques, seems like you like almost every mouse, is it your creative direction not to bash on any product and if so, how do you differentiate an exceptional product vs a subpar / average one if you "like" every mouse? Would think if you do tier them or give comparisons of similar shaped ones (since shape is king in your words) and which one is "better" in your opinion, you could give your viewers a better direction of which mice to buy, especially as the average buyer's wallet is getting much tighter. Thanks for the vids as always.

Latency comparisons etc you can have the same hardware but very different experience.
@@jeremyniels The grip tape feels fine to me. Might not be the best grip tape on the market but I dont even need to use grip tape myself. Since you are such a grip tape pro why dont you start making reviews?

I got myself a yellow pro max with the 4k receiver and it's a good mouse.
But whatever you do, rip the skates off ASAP ! They are FN crap.
I put some glass dots on and it went from okay to pretty bloody good ; )
PS: battery life is also very good, even at 4k. But I tend to use 2k.
When people say their mouse seems smoother at 4k I don't believe them.
To be honest I feel no difference between 4k and 1k.

@@AimAdapt Even though the 4k dongle recognizes the mouse in the software, when the pair gets "pair failed" and yesterday maicong was released a new driver version that doesn't even recognize the 4K dongle and it says "device not connected" , mchose the hardware is very good but the software is quite bad
@@sidpretty I havent had any issues getting mine to pair. It paired immediately. It follows the same process as the Lamzu mice.
