- 'Goodfellas' star Ray Liotta has some bad news for Rich Eisen about his autographed poster of the Martin Scorsese classic film.
I love that poster. Tommy goes one way, Henry goes the other way and Jimmy's like, 'whattaya want from me?'
Nice head of white hair too
So what are you saying, that axe is for the paw?
@@mikegrand4181 The hoof. C'mon Mike, you can't leave it there, it's a sin.
Lol brilliant
Nice 🤣🤣🤣
“There was nothing we could do, ray was a made guy and the poster wasn’t….”
Real greaseball stuff
Hysterical
"ehhh...we had a problem..."
@Clif Diggz Ray is of Scottish and Italian descent, I know the joke you going for but you kinda dropped it
@Clif Diggz you said “Ray” His characters name is Henry Hill
Had to come back to watch this segment again. RIP Ray Liotta
It’s already been 3 weeks wow man time is flying
@@ChuckTay23 It sucks bc he seemed like a genuinely good person...gone too soon man. Amazing talent
He died?!?!
Edit: Holy $hit he did....
Having document proof that Ray Liotta hit this with an ax makes it more valuable than a signature In my opinion.
That’s a great point!
Yeah he should sign it and then replace with the broken plexiglass
ikr...
Thats what I was thinking :D
His violence is like an artist making a napkin drawing for you lol
It is so reassuring to know that he has never acted a day in his life. He just exists and they film him.
He's the same guy in every movie. lol It doesn't matter what the role is, he's just himself.
Man is so solid
My favourite Liotta performance was in a film called 'Something Wild'. In that film the other charaters refer to him as Ray, so that would support your theory!
@@abbafan50986
My favorite Liotta performance is and will probably always be Tommy Vercetti from GTA: Vice City.
He was great in The Bee Movie.
Getting called a Sucker by Ray is like a well timed insult by Rickles.
"For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to be an autograph authenticator"
Yes! Good one!
HA!
He’s always wanted to be an expert for, Rick Harrison.
@@gloomy28 sadly the autograph biz also has its mobsters , scammers like Kevin Martin sold junk for yrs.....if people only knew whats happening behind the scenes theyd be scared. And Vegas is the capital of fake autographs.
Great!!!! I'm dying 🤣🤣
"That's not my f***in' signature, Karen!!"
😂
Kaaaareeen
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Omg 🏆🏆🏆🏆
Winner!!!!!
Liotta’s comedic brilliance is highly underrated.
by who?
So you’re saying that he’s funny?
Funny how?
@@samwoodley7625 Just… you know…. he’s funny.
I think "comedic brilliance" is a bit of a stretch, I might agree to he has a good sense of humor...
Cringe comment. Ouch
I would much rather have a cracked poster frame by a hatchet from Ray Liotta than his signature. What a story to tell people now! 👍 Absolute Badass movie, RIP Ray 🙏
I was thinking the same
I saw an interview with Liotta where he was asked why he hasn’t worked with Scorsese since 1990 and he replied “I don’t know, you’d have to ask him. I’d love to.” and now he’ll never get the chance… RIP Ray
they had yrs and yrs to do this though , its not like Liotta passed in say 1995 , then it likely couldnt have happened
He actually wanted him to be in The Departed but things got in the way
Well as far as I’m concerned it may be not a real signature of Ray Liotta’s. But the fact that he hit it and broke it with an ax makes it way more valuable lol that’s freaking hilarious😂🤣.
I like this one. One signature goes one way and the other goes the other.
Ones going east the others going west so what?
@@theogeo14 such a great movie you can just quote the whole thing lol
@@texasguy5377 looks like someone we know
@@WesCoastPiano lol
good job
he can now sell it for 5 figures
That's what I was thinking! Frame and all
Ray Liotta signature is nothing, but a Ray Liotta axe smashing!!…now that’s valuable 😂
one performance he doesn't get enough love for and never has, was for narc (2002) with jason patrick. he was INCREDIBLE in that movie.
Absolutely!!!
Oh absolutely. Narc is the real deal. It’s amazing and the budget was like ten bucks lol. It’s a small monument to the inescapable fact that great writing and casting will always carry the day. Great film doesn’t need bloated 60 million dollar budgets.
Nobody I know has even seen that movie lol amazing
Thx for tip- gonna check it out
Just don’t overthink the plot. Has MASSIVE holes.
In the late 90s there was a specific company that sold movie posters like that: famous movie, large and famous cast. They made tons of donations/sells to local charities and movie theaters under the assumption they were all real. Ends up they faked everything. I can't remember the name of the place, but my folks bought a titantic and some classic SW re-release posters from the remastered VHS with all the principal sigs and they all came from the same company that was later indicted, I believe, by the Feds, for faking all of their signatures.
Edit: After looking at a poster recently, and attached "certificate," the company was called Hollywood Dreams. They couldn't even bother to include a cheap hologram. Ah well. The posters are still cool.
Yes! I remember that - I received a supposedly all-signed Caddyshack poster as a gift once. "I got it at a silent auction!" I was told and I was already dubious because by that point Ted Knight had been dead for 10+ years..."but it has a certificate." A few months later, the story you're talking about comes out...throw it in the pile.
I remember that too thanks for makin me feel old haha cheers.
What's SW?
Jamal Ginsburg Hasidic Homeboy Star Wars
yep, you gotta be careful now days and do your homework. everything collectible with financial worth is being faked
Rest in Peace Ray...Great Actor
As far back as I can remember I always wanted a signed Goodfellas poster.
Rip Ray. Absolute legend
“ You got ripped off!! “ 😂😂 That’s why Ray is also a “ FUNNY GUY!! “ FN EPIC.

Rich Eisen really makes his guests comfortable.
The craziest thing happened to me.
I was watching my favorite movie Goodfellas for the first time in two years and while watching it i check my phone, and the first thing i see is ''RAY LIOTTA IS DEAD''. I was so shocked and saddened, it was suck a bizzare and unreal moment. He is a key reason to why Goodfellas became one of the greatest films in history. Rest in peace.
I always hate having to use an axe when I take a picture out of a frame. All broken glass, damage to the picture, having to get new glass. If only there was a better way.
Im sorry but if you don't think that Goodfellas was brilliant casting, then I don't know what to say. Liotta is a goodfella.
Who said it wasn't brilliant casting?
@@brindlebucker4741 nobody
Who ever said that? Lmao
stuff like this is why Rich is the best. great guests and genuine moments! . .RIP legend......
Especially his rant against Arod when he clearly never watched his video. But yeah, he's the best

nah he'll be alright
I had to come watch this one more time.
RIP Ray Liotta
THANK YOU for being you
I can't believe Ray Liotta died, he was one of my favorite actors. I always wanted to meet him now I'll never get that chance. Way she goes boys. Way she goes.
As someone that has dealt with Ray numerous times…. That guy is insane, y’all. Literally insane. Sometimes it’s funny, and sometimes it’s not.
Could you elaborate?
Funny how? Like he’s a clown he’s there to amuse you?
I wouldn't be surprised at all, he seems very intimidating and his cold dead stare could slice through Superman's heart, lol
Yeah intense personalities are like that. Always extreme, good or bad.
Jesus, his stage presence is unreal.
He just made it more valuable by smashing it - a framed pictured smashed by Ray Liotta.
Plot twist, he did really sign it but forgot.
Tommy doesn't forget
RIP Ray. That dude was hilarious.
“ alright so ask me a question “ Im dyin here!!😅
RIP TO THIS ABSOLUTE LEGEND

I’d be taking the recording of this interview to the original owners and getting my money back.
"I'll keep this." Lol ever the improviser, we miss you Ray.
"So ask me a question" 🤣😂
Ripping off rich people must be easy!
O J M Old Ray Liotta is still trying to play the part of a wiseguy through anxiety. WANKER!!!! HAHAHAHA
Dudes name is literally Rich
ripping off poor people is even easier
barely an inconvenience
@@vivavideo-videofilmer "Oh really!"
I would have just signed the glass if I were Liotta with "GENUINE" written right under it, lol.
Naw man, you GOTTA sign the actual item! Never sign the glass or cover!

Ray: This poster is all a Fugazi. Ya know what a Fugazi is?
Show host: Yeah, it means fake.
Ray: Well, it’s a Fugazi it’s a wazzy it’s a woozy, it’s (whistle) fairy dust! It doesn’t exist, it’s off the elemental charts. It’s not fu**ing real!
Fugazi is a legendary DC punk band
@@stevenhaas9622 Yes, DC band. Plus, it started in the Nam jungles, and was an acronym: "Effed up, got ambushed, zippered in." Which is short for zippered into a body bag.

“Yeah that’s him” 😂
Wow that would really stink to buy an expensive piece of memorabilia….and find out it was fake.
Well he would know his own signature 😂
Probably even worth more now that ray damaged the plexiglass himself and signed it after
Rest in peace Ray Liotta 1954-2022
What did you do, Karen? That was our only picture frame! We’re dead! We’re dead!
Kinda like how Ray was in his corner from the start. Wholesome stuff.

I love DiCaprio always interested when a new film of his comes out and I consider him a far superior actor to Liotta, who I think is good don’t get me wrong but limited. All that being said though, I’m so happy that Scorsese decided to make Goodfellas in 1990 and not 10 years later because if GF came out in say 2000 or right around there, without a doubt it would have starred DiCaprio as Henry Hill. I’m sure he would’ve done fine but Ray Liotta was born for that role and that movie is so iconic due in part because of his performance. Greatest mafia film of all time.
I'm kinda bored of DiCaprio now
@@chrishaughey648
Same. As much as he has evolved into a really good actor, he is limited as well. There are actors out there who can play any role. DiCaprio isn't one of them, but he tries and desperately wants to.
