fr bro im 23 and i was 12 when bo2 came out and it was my first full cod that i played, i made so many good friends and even started a team w them. man i miss those days, we stuck to cod til bo4 and after that we just gave up. cod is broken, and needs to be put out of its misery.

AGREED. The play community as a whole sucks and they have terrible attitudes towards other players. Blows my mind when I’m not accommodated after holding my own in my gun fights while maintaining the objective and supporting teammates with whatever hero I chose for that time just to be unrecognized just because I didn’t go 45-6 with no objective. Nobody wants to be a team they just want to project their insecurities into a video game. Like grow up and help your team. I’m mad just thinking about it lol

the accoladed I'm unsure if it really give you anything? however i will normally give one to who ever has the most obj based one i mainly play occupy, i never give it to highest KD though, will sometime give it to a kill streak if no obj ones available.

I love how in your gameplay there isnt as many bunny hoppers but in my matches every single person is jumping every single corner. Its crazy
I am so ass at Xdefiant and I am completely fine with it. I am someone who loves first person shooters, I would consider myself a cod veteran as my journey began with cod4 and ended with mw2 (2022). Even though ive gone negative in most matches and generally struggle with getting wins I still have so much fun playing the game. Why? Its because xdefiant in a way encourages you to actually grind and be better by putting you with players who will mess you up, and I was so conditioned by cod that when I did play back in 2022 I felt like I was prime faze back in bo2 days. Its a shame how the cod community have plagued xdefiant but once bo6 comes out hopefully it weeds out those negative players and brings a more constructive community who both enjoy the game and look for ways to make it better.
Same, i stopped playing because of COD, but I'm willing to play to get better to later enjoy winning when I'm actually good at it.

I play the objective no matter what, but what I mean is like because xdefiant feels much more different to cod (movement is faster, gun play different) im not used to it and im playing really shit for now. But it doesn't just mean I drop the game and uninstall it like most players do because theyre so conditioned by cod. I find joy in grinding it and wanting to be better cause I know once I get used to it, that level of fun is just going to sky rocket. It'll be interesting to see how tdm works even a game mode without abilities will be sick, we'll just have to wait and see

Killstreaks would completely kill this game. I find way more people care about the win and play the objective, including myself. It’s so refreshing and completely addictive. If they add kill streaks cause refugees will just camp the whole time for streaks.
You think the trolls asking for SBMM are the ones who take advantage of it in CoD. The ones who are a 5.6kd but somehow are always playing against 0.78kd players. And the fact that they can’t take advantage of SBMM makes them mad because they might be playing against actual people with thumbs

There is no connection between kill streaks and people not playing objective.. Some people just dont care for the objective, and that is happening just as much on xdefiant.
The only thing thats bad about killstreaks is when they are too strong and take too many kills. Then people start camping in corners just to get their streaks for once.
Also I would much rather have a UAV in the game than the echelon suit giving litteral wallhack to people.
@@XboxNightmare_NM ALL the factions have there merit, Echelon is very useful if used correctly, i solely used it in the first few days of playing, its useful IF while on an objective people use the intel suite/radar goggles as it shows everyone in close proxy to you where people are. personally i see more people running libatard and cleaners over the echelon

As a (xdefient) community we should always call out these K/D kill chasers. As the crappy players and teammates they are. Just my opinion.
the funny thing is K/D chasers are by all accounts actually better players if they are wiping out the objectives for their team to capture them cant capture something if its swarmed by players LOL

I have had plenty of games where I have done great kills wise and my team has lost because I wasn’t killing the right people in the right places. This whole game has an objective focus. Even Hotshot, the least objective gamemode still suffers from arrogant people that don’t care. The point when you team has the Hotshot is to leave the bounties for them and then when the enemy does you take them. It’s all strategy and kills are a big part but not all of the game
@@ondovids9253 Well here's my opinion, you always need a slayer. All in the point is a bad strat as the ennemy team covers too much space an you'll get fucked. You are right the slayer can't just run around the map but he needs to be pushed up at the right place. And on xdef you also need someone to lock spawns in some game modes so that guy is also not on the point !
I mean Xdefiant already has a very long list of its own issue to work though as well as much rolled over from COD, it doesn’t need to also subsume the rest of CODs issues as well.
My only complaint tbh is the constant bunny hopping. I'm not a great player but I at least try to focus on the objective over my kills

So basically what we need is what Mark and his team are working on and what we don't need is what cod babies want and Mark's team is not working on. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be X3

XDefiant is already a BO3 clone and it's good, I personally like it because of that besides the unbalanced weapons/abilities. I'm enjoying XDefiant but I cant play casually because of the Bunny hopping abuse and MP7 spam. Its not a skill issue because its easy to abuse the mechanics, but i dont want to do that. Feel like I have to if i want to stand a chance and get kills to level my guns up. Ppl are too damn sweaty on this game
I would prefer if they further incentivized objectives and gave weapon XP to go up from doing the objective

XD has potential, but I dont see how he thinks the XD movement is faster than CoD.
To me, it seems a little clunky, but I've not gotten to play it very much yet, so maybe I need to get used to it. The hit detection isnt that great.
I'm sure it will get better, but Nero and BT are riding XD's nuts a little much here.

XDefiant doesn’t need a BR but it needs something. If all it is just a game without SBMM it’s lot going to last. It’s going to fall off. There’s nothing to really keep you there.

I love XDefiant, my only complaints are the hit detection sometimes and the bunny hopping both which have been reported to being worked on. The no SBMM makes the game fun af I can’t lie. When I get stomped I know it’s my fault instead of being put into matches against pros to artificially lose. Ubisoft really got a W with this one
I recommend playing ranked i do not know why but the hitreg is better there i actually do not get killed behind walls.
The weapon leveling even with double xp feels like this is gonna be a pain to go for mastery camo like MW2019 pain

think it depends on what you play i only play occupy and so far i feel I've seen the same few people many times, so it may disband but if other players in that lobby are only looking for the same game mode then you may likely see the same players in the next match.
I would like to add that TDM is getting proved time and again that it may not be the best to add if youve experienced half of the loobies I have in hot shot. Spawn camps, mines placed on spawns, literal forts from phantom players... its not what Id exactly call fun.
Idk i have some issues with xdefiant, there are some times i die around corners and stuff, some times it feels like im aiming right at people and my bullets arent hitting them but i cannot deny that im having fun when i get on the game. I havnt bought a cod since coldwar, that game was good but the rest since bo4 have just not been it. Might just be turning into an old man but i just dont enjoy cod anymore even a bit, but xdefiant has been fun, once the bunny hopping cheese gets nerfed and gun fights are back to strafing, i will love it. Btw if anyone at ubi sees this, please dont put going prone in the game, we also dont need that ever, crouching is good enough, everyones a snake in cod laying on the ground
I genuinely don't believe Xdefiant has no SBMM. How come that I win 1 game, lose the next, win the next, lose the next and so on? And when I lose, both teams my and enemies are like night and day. My team has guys with 12-15 kills, enemy team with 30-40 each. There is SBMM, something feels off.
My brother and a couple of my friends went on an 18 winstreak today so it’s definitely not that bad if it exists but I will say the friggin Desync one game we played that ruined our streak was so God awful it felt like a bad sbmm cod experience. They definitely need to fix server stability in this game is just rough sometimes

Im excited for the changes coming to snipers and net code being fixed, this games turning out to be what cod hasn't been since Bo2
I play mainly rainbow six siege and play call of duty when I want a fast paced break. So glad Xdefiant gave me a good reason not to give Activision money anymore!
my only complaint is that the echelon intel suit and ultimate ability shouldnt reveal enemies for the entire team. that completely ruins the game.. especially when you have 3+ enemies running it and spamming it everytime they respawn.

It would be cool to see upgrades to the abilities like maybe extended timers on ultra ??? Instead of buffing the ultra timers just make it a challenge getting so many kills you can upgrade the ability it self to more rare version

It does feel better in MW3(sbmm sucks but the game is great and the first good cod in like 10 years imo). XD is like old school 360 era Cod with those same graphics with some BO4 feature with a 3g wifi connection.

Yo is anyone else having an issue in xdefiant where the frames drop to like 40-50 until you change a setting? It took me a min to figure it out so if anyone isn't running the frames they should try changing like a graphical setting, apply, then change it back. Idk why this works but it does.
Been waiting since SBMM became mainstream and changing lobbies after every match for a new FPS game that would bring back fun and good gameplay with the lobbies able to stay intact and play for more than one session.
XDefiant is a breath of fresh air. When I would play CoD all I cared about was getting my killstreaks and K/D but when I play XDefiant, I am now having fun dying to play the objective and no longer caring about my K/D and focusing on getting the W for me and my team. We had a match and loss OCCUPY mode 247-250 but the game was so fun, everybody dying and laughing not being toxic in game chat while I went 49-26 with 135 capture time at the end game result. I will never play CoD again unless they make it a free to play game like XDefiant.

I’m loving this game right now. The only gripes I have is Sound issues and boot times. For PC, this game takes almost 5 legal minutes to boot up on a Jacked up PC… Like.. WHY?!?
And Sound needs more options and more working with. Can’t pick/choose an Audio Source, no EQ options, Footsteps and Gunshots sometimes do not work at all?
Otherwise this game is awesome. I’m not the biggest fan of Escort and I would love to see a TDM mode and Kill Cams (for those “How the hell did you…?”-moments.
It would be nice to have cross-talk options enabled for content creation purposes? Buuuuut lobbies can get super toxic so I can understand wanting to stay away from it.
The only thing I love would change would be the wall hack ability. Just show the positions as red dots on the minimap. Would be much better

I probably won't switch over to XDefiant exclusively, but as a CoD player the competition is well overdue. CoD had been left unchecked since battlefield and halo crashed and burned. Anyone trying to ruin this game is failing to realize that this is a boon for everyone.

The one thing I like about not having streaks is that I can put my full attention on the objective and I can play way more reckless since I'm not worrying about some streak in the back of my head

When i was a cod player (I'm a solo player)
I used to go for more & more kills and nukes
It was my favorite thing in every cod I've ever touched
We used to loose most of matches but my kd used to go high, i used to love this but...
Now as a Xdefiant player, we don't have nuke, killstreaks and even the mvp of the game is the most objective player not the one who got most kills
Now i play obj to win and kills are not for me it's for my team so we can win
As a cod player, it's refreshing and it's much better than cod in terms gameplay
Xdefiant doesn't need BR, Killstreaks, Nuke, etc

It’s tough to say “don’t make xdefiant like cod” when literally the backbone of this games creation is built on an ex Call of Duty Dev and multiple ex and current cod pro champs. Whether you like it or not, this game has cod built into its dna all while trying to do something “different”. It takes a lot of cues from cod so it makes sense why people suggest to make it more like cod lol

XDefiant is reigniting my love of this type of game. COD was my first love and then as cod games got shittier and SBMM took over I lost my love and desire to play them till I just stopped all together. XDefiant has awoken that love again. I'm having SOOOOOO much fun on this game.

The best way to add killstreaks would be to only add them to a TDM style mode, and objective game modes to be obsolete of killstreaks. Thoughts?

Actually, the spider doesn't guarantee a kill. You can shoot it.

If you open the game and while it's loading, you alt+tab, you'll end up making the game glitch with a broken mouse and can't alt+tab the game throughout that session (only solve is to go restart the game)
I'm actually having so much fun with this game. My 2 favorite FPS of all time combined to one (CoD+OW somewhat)!! Killstreaks would kill the game, as any other new cod features. Although it would be nice to be able to save a "kit" for your weapons, so you don't need to reselect every attachment over again if you wanna equip it in another class.
Time to kill has always been fast to be fair. We had a 2 shot m16 with stopping power lol. Peoples main complaint with b04 was the health
I stopped playing. I cant handle the adderal coked up controller tweakers. Perma sliding and hopping to get 1 for 1 kills. Playing like its a best of 5 world final. No thanks
Lol was you around during the jetpacks, bo3 and bo4 days? This is nothing compared to that. Sliding/jumping came with a perk that increased your accuracy and everybody had a Maddox or vmp melting yo ass back to the spawns on nuke town
What these COD fans don’t realise is WE are the reason COD got popular, that was us. The COD that they enjoy is a shadow of what we enjoyed and XDefiant is a far better game.

I wish they had no disbanding lobbies tho, I honestly think it'll help the bad players have a chance to get better at Xdefiant, finding an easy lobby and being able to stay with those same low tier players would eliminate that problem that bad players are having. Not to mention the ability to make new friends and create rivalries

i believe that that Xdefiant’s net code and shoot first and die issues are what are keeping me away from it (for now). My opinion is that the movement is not better than MW3, it doesn’t feel nearly as fluid. With that said I think the game is on the right track and excited for its future
honestly...i've stopped playing cod multiplayer...last time i played a cod online was og MW2. I've enjoyed XDefiant...I get stomped but i realize that i've got a long way to go skillwise
