It was great, what happens in these events is that they make them so people don't just watch but also interact, that was why the guitar hero thing was there. The whole event was amazing but Eminem killed it🔥🔥🔥

I think fortnite had to pull out everything they had for this unless there's a final version coming

This whole live event was a preview for new parts of the game as they are exploring different worlds. There was a section for Lego, Rocket Racing and then this music portion of the game. Also, it's assumed that players will actually get to play in a city in ruins so him destroying the city was hinting at where players will get to play. There was also an Eminem pack you can buy that had skins and all that. There were TONS of Eminem's, Slim Shady's playing the game all week. So it's hard to compare something that's deliberately a concert to previewing new gameplay mechanics for a game.

This is Epic's way to leverage their IP and putting it into their most popular game. Since this is so far removed from Fortnite, they used this to get people more familiar with the gameplay mechanics.

But as a casual gamer and supporter or rap music, i see this as a clear cash grab, this is not how you use Em's likeness. This concert wasn't meant to be a full length concert like the previous ones, it was just a part of the main live event, which was mainly to show off the new things coming to Fortnite for the first time. One of those things being the ability to buy real music tracks from popular artists, and listening to some of the music at the lobby, or playing said music in Fortnite Festival (aka Guitar Hero). In other words, Fortnite is beginning to evolve into more than just that Battle Royale game from 2017. Hope that helped. ☺️👌

The game is a "rhythm" game also been called Tap Tap games (the ones that are app games) And yes, guitar hero is a similar game (you even get ridiculously complex piano types where you have easy - adv--no, Extraterrestrial levels and you play things like LA Campanella or Die Erlkönig (2 of the most difficult pieces to play on piano.) There are games for just music (as in modern day) overwll, any genre and then depending on what level of difficulty you may need to not just keep up with the basic rhythm and occasional instruments but then you'd need to go and keep your fingers going between every syllable, if there are drums then you need to also account for those (these often appear as a pair of falling bars much like what happened here.) ....I maybe play these a lot and played them even more when I was in and out of hospital the lastb2 years 😂😂
