These Instructions are for vehicles WITHOUT push button start:
1. Close and lock all doors with the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch.
2. Insert key into ignition and remove it from the ignition key cylinder at least six times within 10 seconds. Your Hazard Lamps will flash if you have performed this step successfully. NOTE: Withdraw key completely from ignition cylinder each time. If this procedure is performed too fast, system will not enter programming mode.
3. Insert key into the ignition cylinder and turn to the ACC position.
4. Within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the remote transmitter. Your Hazard Lamps should flash. NOTE: Do not press the button more than one time in the above step. If the button is pressed more than one time, the programming procedure will not be successful.
5. If there are any remaining transmitters (including the old ones), unlock then lock all doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch and within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the next remote. Your Hazard Lamps should flash. Repeat this step for each transmitter (including any existing transmitters). *IF YOU ONLY HAVE ONE REMOTE, skip this step*
6. Turn the key to the OFF position, remove keys from the ignition, unlock doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch and open the driver side door.
Legend! After countless attempts with various methods suggested by shops and parts stores, this video solved my 2007 Versa fob programming issue in under 2 minutes. 😳 Thank you! 👍

Just bought a Nissan and the remote was "broken" without a battery. Put in a fresh battery, and followed these directions...remote works! Thanks for putting this video out!

I love how I watched this video as I was watching a movie where a drifter with his buds remote started his hatchback versa behind him and it was supped up and had a borla exhaust and it did some SICK drifts around a curvey highway

I know the fob works, the doors unlock when i use the lock/unlock switch on the inside driver door. i need to know where the receiver module is located. the fob is intermittent.
Worked great, anyway to get the trunk button working?
It looks like the 2007 - 2012 versa did not come with a power trunk option that works on the fob. It came from the factory as a 3 button remote (lock, unlock and panic ) so that's why the rest of the remote works but that one doesn't.
Any idea why my 2007 Nissan versa will not go into programming mode? I try to get the key in several times and no blinkers come on.

After 6 times, my car doesn't blibk the hazard, it's just unlocked the doors.
Mine was doing the same thing. I think I opened the door, shut it and tried again and it worked.

I can enter programming mode, but pushing the button on the remote doesn't get the emergency lamps to flash. Is it possible the auto unlock feature is messing with the steps?
Nvm yall, the batteries they came with were dead. Super easy once I switched them out a
Exit program the remote is need to press Any button in new key

No - this will only work on cars built for the US market. Unfortunealy I do not have the programming information on vehicles built for use outside of the US.

If you are getting the vehicle into programming mode but the remote is not responding - it sounds like there may be an issue with the remote you are using

Unfortunately, There is no manual programming procedure for the vehicles that have push button start. I would recommend checking out bit.ly/CarAndTruckRemotes for purchasing remotes.
Does this work for a 2018 Nissan Versa SV? I do not have a push to start vehicle and I don’t want to pay Nissan $350 to get a key fob made
It will not, unfortunately there is no manual way to program a key fob to a 2018 Versa.
Are the keys cut when you purchase? They don’t look it on Amazon or Ebay

I believe it should work the same, you will be able to program the remote portion yourself but not the key portion.

If you do not have a push button start ignition then yes, it should work. This procedure will only program the remote potion of the remote head key.
Can i program an fob on my 2013 nissan versa? It can only start with the key and the current key has no buttons.
Unfortunately there is no manual programming procedure for a 2013 Versa
