Nissan Versa Key Fob Programming

In this video, I show the super simple way to program the key fob and not the transponder key to my 2008 Nissan Versa. This would work on other Nissan vehicles, I don't know which but I tried it with my 2010 rouge and I'm able to lock both cars at night now as one fob is programmed to both cars. This steps to doing this is very easy to to, make sure the replacement key is compatible before to save the headache.Programming steps first thing to do is to is close the driver door and lock the vehicle, then insert and remove the key in the ignition 5-10 times within 10 seconds (depending on Nissan model) until hazard lights blink. Once the hazard lights blink, insert the key and turn the car on but do not start engine (KOEO). Now hit the lock button on the new remote fob and the hazard lights should blink. Then turn the key off and remove it from the ignition and open the door to exit programming mode. If it is done correctly, the should have learned the new remote and is able to lock and unlock the vehicle.

Nissan Versa Note, 2015. The car key programming won't work for the OPEN DOOR button on the key. The CLOSE DOOR button does program. What can be done about this?

I'm try my car but when insert and remove 5 times hazard light not blink (but door is unlock) and then process complete it not work.

I don’t see why not, I didn’t use the old fob at all when programming the new fob just as a display to show that the new fob resembled the old one. Mind you It may be different on your car though. I only paid 7 dollars for the fob with the internals so I thought like many other things “let’s have a go” so I did and it worked. Depending on your car and where you get the fob will differ the results. If the cost is low enough, I don’t see the harm in trying it. Hope that brought a bit of help.

I have a 2011 Vera and I’m trying to program the replacement fob, but When I put my key in the ignition it unlocks all the doors, and then the red car with key light starts blinking on the dash as I’m putting the key in and out.
Any suggestions
