Rimac Nevera vs Porsche Taycan Turbo GT

When Porsche published the lap time for the Taycan Turbo GT, I immediately noticed that it was only 2s slower than the Rimac Nevera, which is a 1914hp hypercar. This is such an amazing achievement from Porsche.
We do have to keep in mind that the Nevera was running on a very hot day and tires were struggling for grip from overheating. Whereas the Porsche was definitely running on a colder day.
But if we look at the lap itself, then we see that the difference is actually made purely in the top speed sections. The Taycan keeps up really well with the Nevera. WOW! Of course, the Taycan is a racetrack specific version with stripped interior and a special aero package. You won't see any of those on the road in the real world.

Interesting to note that the plaid hits indicated 306 kph at Schwedenkreuz which as fast or faster than the Taycan here. Straight line power MSP still instilling fear at a stop light. See the misha video.

Because the plaid has 60 more hp to the wheels than the taycan turbo gt not to mention the plaid is 300 pounds lighter nobody cares about straight line speed anyways

The rimac did not humiliate the porsche like the porsche turbo gr humiliated the tesla plaid, infact the porsche impressed me more than the rimac
