What a classic! I purchased myself a 200ml online a month ago because I have loved it for many years. My uncle used to wear this many many years ago and it stayed with me.
For me it's one of those that I appreciate more each time I wear it. Perhaps once every six weeks or so. I bought blind and first time I wore it I thought that I'd smelled it a million times down my life in different places. After getting used to it I rate it highly. You give it a good review. I'm 52 next week and it works well for me now. I have the aftershave version too now and it's perfect for after the shower and shave. I do have to add that I've received no complements and one complaint about it but the complainer was a much younger guy at work which suggests it's a more mature fragrance.
In the mid 1980's, I went to see Chubby Checker at a Manhattan club called "The Bottom Line". The place was packed and we had the front center table. Chubby would jump off the stage and on to our table a few times during the evening. By the time he did his last song which was of course, "The Twist", he was dripping Paco Rabanne scented perspiration all over the table! It smelled like he doused himself with the equivalent of 25 sprays but back then a few sprays or a splash was all that was enough to obtain the saturated scent cloud effect. I wore this back in the 1980's when all designers released atomizer and splash bottles. I bought the splash because you received a larger bottle for less dough. Two splashes on the chest in the early evening and there was an all night scent cloud. It was very strong back then with no limitations on oakmoss. If you walked into a singles dance club, it smelled like the air conditioning system was pumping this out! Every guy wore Paco!
Shave- a-thon haha that’s a great story, i wish they were all as strong as back in the day but I’m just thankful that it’s still being made ! Thank you for watching and commenting sir !
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey You're very welcome! All reviewers should do what I do on occasion. Contact the companies at the upper levels (I email their top executives) and ask not only why do they bother to sometimes release weak, air fresheners, but why are there limited releases in Europe but those releases aren't available in the USA? For example, "Stronger With You" flankers like Intensely and Freeze aren't officially available in the USA but are on the Armani site for direct sale in Canada. Of course, another example is Dior with Dior Homme Intense and DHP. If you aren't already registered with ArmaniBeautyUSA, do so because they offer great discount codes by email. My dad used it many years and when I started using perfumes I took it from him. When I wore it I felt the most masculine in the world. I really enjoyed this one. Thanks for the review 🔥🔥

Hi Kelan, Great review. I am 41 & remember smelling Paco Rabanne PH, Azzaro PH, Givenchy Gentleman, Drakkar Noir, Chanel Anteus & Aramis for Men on my dad & seeing them on his dresser at various points of my childhood. Paco Rabanne ph is class personified among the characterless candy smelling so called men’s fragrances these days. Not sure about you l, but I feel invigorated throughout the day if I apply this in the morning. So fresh and clean it is from top to base. Regards Renoy
Perfect review of a timeless classic. Thanks for the video. This will be my SOTD now. And totally agree on PR selling out and producing mass pleasing sugar spritzers these days. This is still their best work.
Oh that’s awesome! Paco Rabanne Pour Homme is one of the legendary barbershop style classics! Glad you enjoy it ! Thank you for watching and commenting sir
Thanks for this great review of a timeless classic Kelan. Paco Rabanne Pour Homme won the FIFi Award for the best men's fragrance in 1975, Luca Turin and Tania Sanchez gave it four stars out of five in their book Perfumes: The A-Z Guide and grooming expert and fragrance connoisseur Lee Kynaston has put it in his Olfactory Hall of Fame and regards it as one of the greatest men's fragrances ever created: It's a manly fragrance and it won't appeal to people who like sweet synthetic bubble gum fragrances like One Million. It smells very different to the generic-smelling men's fragrances that are currently popular. Paco Rabanne Pour Home's charm is slow to reveal itself, but it's subtly seductive - the more you wear it, the more it grows on you. I started wearing it again last autumn because I wanted a change from Boss Bottled. I love smelling it on myself and I don't care whether other people like it or not. However, Paco Rabanne Pour Homme is something of a dark horse - it has garnered lots of unsolicited compliments when I wear it, which is something that I didn't expect.
It’s arguably the greatest barbershop scent of all time and definitely one of the greatest classics for sure, I love the stuff. Thank you for watching and commenting sir!
Great review thanks. I was wearing this also back in the 80s, just come back from Spain, couldn't leaf the country with a bottle of this stuff. Proudly walking the streets of Amsterdam with PR just love it.
I was out last Sat night - Dance club for the "old folks" LOL!. So, dancing as couples and AGAIN, more compliments. Bottom line, your review was spot on. I smelled the newer versions of one million, invictus etc - they don't compare. I've been wearing this for many years and I constantly get compliments - over and over again. One of the best that I've ever worn and I've been wearing colognes since 1972.
This is so nice. If i only had 1 fragrance i could use rest of my life i dont think could go wrong with this. Smells great through all stages of wearing and pretty adaptable for all occasions i think.
One of my top 5 old schools hands down. Got it as a Christmas gift back in the early 80’s and it was nuclear performance. Unapologetically masculine, a wonderful blend. Need to revisit. 👍🏻
John D it’s absolutely among my all time favorite scents for sure, I wish I could try a fresh vintage version but thankfully the new formula that I have is still great
Great review! I enjoy PRPH quite a bit. It's very soapy to my nose, leaving a just showed scent for several hours. If you haven't reviewed them yet, I'd be interested in your opinions and ratings on once popular classics such as the original Old Spice, Brut, Hai Karate, and Skin Bracer.
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey I recently purchased Tabac for the first time, based on your recommendation, and am enjoying it a lot. It sits next to PRPH on my shelf, as they provide the same function. I find the opening of Tabac to be smoother, with the performance of the two to be similar. So, thanks for suggesting that one! Oh, and another frag I forgot to request for you to review in the future is English Leather, the only cologne my father ever owned.
I’ve seen this one at the racks and haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I do need to pick up a bottle of this next time I see it out in the wild. Great video as always bro!
Scents Of South Jersey I might try to hit the rack stores Tuesday. I usually see a bottle of this at Ross so if I do I’ll snag it. Yeah I had to create a whole new channel Which sucks. But I did have a handful of vids backed up that I’ve been trying to get posted back up on this one. Tomorrow I’ll have new content to post. Last couple of days it’s just been some of my old content I had backed up.
Scents Of South Jersey I’ll be on the hunt for it. Just did my Saturday night routine so taking care of myself like shave, hair cut, skin care and all that. Threw on some quorum after. That one is a pretty solid old school one too
Great review. It’s an all time classic, and definitely uplifting as you say. Had this back in the early nineties, and every time I wear it now in 2020 it transports me back, sends me surfing on a brief wave of nostalgia. Hard to believe so much time has passed, and it’s great to have a few of these special fragrances, that act as a direct bridge to memories of the past. Fahrenheit is another one that transports me back in time when I get a whiff. Aramis also. And Blue Stratos.
S G it’s crazy how a scent can do that, there are a few for me that bring back memories of being younger and around my dad when he was wearing a specific cologne. I have Aramis I should wear that more now that it’s fall, I’ve also wanted to try blue stratos too
Blue Stratos was really popular here in Australia back in the 80’s/90’s. Still readily available at discount chemists, with a full range of aftershave, EDT, soaps, deodorants... has been reformulated but still has a great scent and the DNA is pretty much the same.
S G I can only see it on eBay really or something other online retailers. Is it a very blue style scent ? Or does it have a masculine edge since it’s a classic era scent ?
I remember very well being a kid and smelling PRPH in the the successful and sophisticated guys of the 80's in my Barcelona. I have to say the reformulation is pretty decent. Thank you!
Excellent scent. I was the opposite - immediately loved Azzaro PH but took my time with this one. Unfortunately, there's just something weird about how the oakmoss that PR uses mixes with my skin...doesn't sit right sometimes. I noticed the same thing with the drydown of 1 Million Lucky. Almost reminds me of a chlorinated pool. Otherwise, it's a goodie for sure.
Just Add Light that’s funny it took me 3 years for azzaro lol but that’s unfortunate, I love PRPH it is one of the greatest, thanks for commenting bro!
Great fougere - probably my favorite herbal scent ever. It's crazy how Paco Rabanne was making panty-dropper frags even 30 years ago with this. Pour Homme gets compliments like crazy for me b/c ppl are not used to it w/ their olfactory senses
It is one of the greatest scents and definitely the best from Paco Rabanne for sure, way better than what they put out today but I guess times have changed in what they consider “in” with scents. Thank you for watching and commenting dude !
Great review !! ...I have a vintage and I wait 10 minutes for the top notes to wear off and then it turns into a beautiful oak moss beast . So soapy and sharp and put together. Something like this will never go out of style.. Keep em coming ! Great job my friend.
Richard Aubrey that’s exactly how Mt vintage is I have to get through the top notes that are spoiled and just smell musty then the oak moss comes alive lol thank you for the support Richie ! Yatagan review is on the horizon!
Yeah it’s a classic, I finished my current form bottle at the beginning of this year, I have two vintage bottles one I’m using and one I have listed for sale on my Mercari page, both are in perfect condition, the oak moss is amazing
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey It's so nice. I could definitely see myself wearing it a lot. While I was in the fragrance outlet I picked up a few of the Cigar cheapies in the tubes. Have you tried those? I got Royal and Cuba Original.
Just bought a vintage 2004 of this when only acqua alcohol fragrance were listed on the bottle as the ingredients. This is a waw for me. Love at first sniff. It's a soapy like a white soap smell with a green smell on top, this is the oak-moass and that's it. Amazing!
Thanks . I couldn't find this anywhere locally here in Aus. when mine ran out year before last. I thought it was discontinued. Didn't try online though. Will look around again for it.
PACO RABANNE is an awesome cologne, a great fragrance for late fall and whole spring season; I wore it in the past and I like it a lot; now, if we put PACO RABANNE vs BOGART(signature) .......... this can be a very serious contest and such a difficult decision where to chose from ...... as I know both fragrances and I've enjoyed wearing them, I can say I would go for BOGART(signature); they are very similar siblings but BOGART got that some dirty-green and mossy base that PACO RABANNE hasn't got; don't take me wrong, both are awesome but in my personal preference I will go for BOGART without a doubt.
Nice review and a fair rating. The smell is really good, wear it working out and seems to reactivate with a workout. The scent is quite unique today as you say, it is not a kids bubblegum! The scent is also addictive and just when you think it has settled has some more zing to it. Epic fragrance!
Lance Hunter it’s definitely one of the great ones! polo green is as well, Azzaro pour Homme I’m really enjoying now despite taking a few years for me to come around on it, thank you for watching lance !
Hi Kelan, thanks for this great re-review of one of the greatest of all time and one of my all time favorites! 👍🏻 To me it smells like our vacation on Mallorca/Spain where we stay once a year at a beautiful beach at a pine forest. When you go from the hotel to the beach through this forest the air smells like prph. I love the scent and the bottle so much, I even hunted down the 1 liter bottle in each design from every decade pr issued. Like with all great classics, they had everything, soap, shower gel, AS balm etc. what they all stoped. The deos and AS are now only available online anymore in Germany, and in stores you will only find -if you are lucky- the 100 ml EdT. It‘s an absolute shame what they do with those classics! 🤬 Looking forward to your next video. Stay safe and healthy. BR, Dan.
Don Dan that’s an awesome story ! It’s great when a scent can remind you of a specific place or time especially one as nice as that vacation spot sounds ! I had to get all the matching products to this scent since it’s one of the greatest ever
Hey sorry for the late reply, this scent is awesome I love how clean and soapy it is and performs really well, you can’t go wrong with either formulation too which is an added plus. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Greetings from the Scottish Borders. Great channel. Probably my favourite fragrance is Guerlain Vetiver. Just purchased a 200 ml bottle of Terre dhermes but find it slightly too sweet. Blind buys usually end in disaster. What do you recommend between Drakkar Noir, 1881 and Paco Rabanne PH. Thank you.
Just picked it up and I love it. I think I like it better than JB signature which I initially loved. Almost has this cinnamon undertone on my skin. I could be wrong but regardless it’s a timeless classic.
I remember wearing this shit to the city during the pandemic in '20 and early '21. I was a heavy smoker back in the day (Even if it was completely non recommended because of COVID) and i remember digging it since July - September of '20 all the way to now. Stopped wearing it from '22 to '24 but either way it's a nice memory. I wore it when i was 19 and i could rock it now as well. I just liked more other frags back in the day like Polo green and Givenchy Gentleman. I've also had other 'houses like One Man Show, Lapidus, Drakkar Noir, Antaeus and Fahrenheit clones, Pour Lui, a clone of Z14, stuff like that, yet PRPH is one of my faves still. Gonna buy a bottle this weekend
Great video I own two bottles of it I love it I Collett my weekend fragrance only wear it on Saturdays and Sundays I don’t know why I just I like wearing it on the weekend keep up the good work
Thanks for the heads up on this fragrance man✌️✌️✌️. I'm a guy that's just starting out on my fragrance journey, and this is just as you described it. For a fragrance that's Old Skool it absolutely punches out, and is so freakin masculine 🤘🤘🤘🤘. Your videos are great by the way. So keep them coming ✌️✌️✌️✌️
I’ve been wanting to try Paco Rabanne pour homme for years and for whatever reason have never gotten around to doing it yet. One of my signature scents is Paco Rabanne Xs (the original) from 1994. It’s a fresh, woody aromatic fragrance that some say has a barbershop quality to it. Have you ever had the chance to try that one? I’m gonna have to break down and get myself a bottle of Paco Rabanne pour homme.
Definitely give it a shot it’s one of the greatest men’s classic barbershop style scents ever. I have not tried XS’s personally. Thank you for watching and commenting dude!
Reminds me so much of Lacoste Original Lacoste. But smoother, and way way less sharp on the dry down. Both have big sharp openings. But when this chills out it's so much easier to wear. Love both though!
That’s a great way to describe it, the sage & rosemary in Paco though is very strong though, gives it a distinct difference in scent than Lacoste to me at least but both are similar
Awesome sauce . I just purchased Preferred Stock today and Hanae Mori ...One throwback fougere and one gourmand ...I wonder what your thoughts are on Dunhill for men by Dunhill made in 1934
Cervical Demolition Conversation Specialist I’ve seen preferred stock around for super cheap I wanted to try it I haven’t yet, and I also have never tried that Dunhill either. Thank you for watching and commenting sir!
My father used to use this in the eighties. It was a splash bottle. We lived in the Dominican Republic where it’s hot as hell Lol. But prph smelled so good and performance was insane. I could smell it all over. Todays not so good at all
My father wore Paco and Polo Green for years. I used to break his balls and say his cologne was like gasoline. Not the smell but the projection. LOL. I remember using Paco a few times in my teens. I'm 40 now and I recently picked up a bottle of Paco. Still smells the same as I remember. I really enjoy it. Can't wait to go to my parent's house and have my father smell my new scent. Hahahaha. Great review!
That’s a great story, my father wore this one as well but never when I was growing up it was before I was born, I love the scent so much it’s one of the best masculine men’s classics ! Thank you for watching and commenting!
I got it the other day. I can say, that after years of searching, I finally found the ultimate Sopranos cologne. It just has that classical man smell from back in the day. But it definitively is not for man children. You have to own this cologne. You have to hit it or quit it. Paco demands no less.
I agree for sure, I did a video where I picked cologne for sopranos characters and Paco Rabanne Pour Homme definitely fits Paulie lol I love the scent one of the greats. Thank you for watching and commenting sir
Do you think it would be alright using this fragrance when I also use things like cocoa butter daily? Or would that smell strange? I’m just starting to get into using different fragrances and I’d like to try this one but I have to use cocoa butter every day so I’m worried they won’t pair well together
Well cocoa butter definitely has a scent to it, maybe let it dry a bit then apply the Paco Rabanne Pour Homme. See how it is, you can apply the fragrance to your clothes too. Or use a scentless lotion too
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey Eau de Grey Flannel is nowhere the same thing as Grey Flannel. I would just order Grey Flannel, and you dont have to get a vintage bottle.. The Grey Flannel now is nearly the same as the stuff from the 80's
As a kid, I wore this a lot, taken from my father's or grandfather's cabinet, as an adult I bought it and it feels soapy, post-shower cleaning product, but it is better than Axe, right?
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey I have it's a classic. I don't own a bottle currently but I do have a perfume parlour clone which is really good. While I will secretely admit to being an Invictus fan, this is clearly their best scent. And far removed from the bubble gum stuff they produce today. Not that I dislike those frags but they are ultimately forgettable in the grand scheme of things when compared to this one!
Awesome surprise! One of my all-time favorites! BTW same experience for me too - love at 1st sniff! Azzaro PH was never my thing...too strong on the honey for my tastes.
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey Yeah, i've noticed it in a time i tested the fragrance here in Mexico, the girl that was giving me the fragrance tests actually told me it was a citrus fragrance, not a fougere. Greetings, cool vid!
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey Greetings. Looking at these comments rn, hope you're well. I do recall it being sold as a "citrus / wood" fragrance. I guess because the sellers don't really know the olfactive families and they handed me Ralph's Club when i asked for a russian leather fragrance. XD Anyways, i've gained more knowledge onto the topic as i've dove deeper into perfumery (I am the perfumer for my own house) and i have to say that indeed, the current formula got a few elements replaced for synthetics and a bit sweeter and smoother, compared to the animalic - honey in the vintage formulas. The current still mentions Evernia Prunastri extract in the ingredients, meaning it prolly has an oakmoss accord with the actual natural origin absolute from it as part of it, but also probably a good dose of veramoss / synthetic moss in there as well. The musk still is present in the current but they did a somewhat interesting accord between the moss, coumarin, musk and stuff that the base pretty much smells of fresh spicy tobacco, like a cigar before lighting or stuff like that, opposite to the dominant oakmoss, musk and amber drydown of the vintage, along the animalic honey. Greetings and best wishes
I've got my eye on this but it's priced a bit on the higher side. Should I get this or Bogart signature which is cheaper. I hear they smell similar. Which one is better ?
That’s a great question. Overall I think Paco Rabanne Pour Homme is better it was a love at first try for me, where as Bogart signature whole cheaper at first I was not that impressed and felt it just reminded me of original Aramis. But then after a while I revisited Bogart signature and realized how awesome it really is I love that one too. If I had to pick one though it would be paco Rabanne. As far as price goes check discounters but signature is much less and still awesome ! You can’t go wrong with with either
Hi Kelan, Do you like Paco by Paco Rabanne? I think it’s quite a classy summer fragrance compared to the abysmal releases they have these days. Do you have it in your arsenal? What do they even make these days? Phantom? What the heck??? Kind Regards Renoy
I have tried it and it smells very familiar like I smelled it when I was younger, but I do not have a bottle of it. When I did smell it in a store I thought it smelled nice. And phantom is garbage lol
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey Just watched an old video of Chris from Scent land on the best from Paco Rabanne. It had Eau and Sport. He even got the pour elle sample which was complimentary. The Pour Elle was also so beautiful. Sadly discontinued!
Gotta reach for this one ☝️. Fortunately the vintages from Paco Rabanne are not sought after (as of 2020) I might as well get one of these for dirt cheap! . I’m perhaps of the dying breed of millennials who appreciate and wear the vintage true macho scents , of course I do like some gourmand/exotic or quirky orientals haha so there’s always a special place for my tastes on fougères and barbershop 💈 fragrances. PR Pour Homme gives the the honey tobacco vibes of Pure Havane (Obviously a more earthy version). I'm gonna try PR PH layered with a pinch of Pure Havane - I can see these making magic together. PR PH gives me fall vibes - like right when all the greenery starts to slightly crisp vs when they start to bloom (Late sept) and when all the sweet pies start being baked. GORGEOUS - at least the late 90's version is. Just ordered a 70s vintage w the brown juice.
Im my 40's, my staple fumes are this, YSL Kouros, Boss No#1, Ralph Lauren Green, Chanel Egoiste & Drakkar. I dont ever want to smell like a metro unisex lollipop boy, real men wear real men's scents. The above mentioned are the to-go-to LIST
I’m 25 and I hate most of the popular men’s fragrances of today. Not sure who all of these new scents are made for but they’re definitely more unisex. I think it may be because more young women are trying to be more like men nowadays and want to wear men’s fragrances. These companies see an opportunity to sell more product maybe (to females)?

Andy DeWitt thank you for watching and commenting sir! I have brut and skin braver but I have not reviewed them just yet
The Fragrance Wardrobe oh you absolutely have to grab this one, glad you’re channel is back up and running I just subscribed again dude !
Scents Of South Jersey I might try to hit the rack stores Tuesday. I usually see a bottle of this at Ross so if I do I’ll snag it.
Yeah I had to create a whole new channel
Which sucks. But I did have a handful of vids backed up that I’ve been trying to get posted back up on this one. Tomorrow I’ll have new content to post. Last couple of days it’s just been some of my old content I had backed up.
The Fragrance Wardrobe definitely pick this one up Id be interested to hear your thoughts
It has a definite barber shop feel, with a bit of citrus and a hint of an aqua feel. Very fresh and masculine, with an old school 70’s vibe.
I remember very well being a kid and smelling PRPH in the the successful and sophisticated guys of the 80's in my Barcelona. I have to say the reformulation is pretty decent. Thank you!
My Way yeah it’s a great scent still to this day ! Thank you for watching and commenting sir!
Agreed as a child I encountered it as the sophisticated/business scent that my dad often wore.
I wore this scent in the 80's and 90's and just got nothing but compliments , I will get more and wear it again. thanks for the video.
I just got this one and it's GREAT! My wife loves it too 😊Your videos are so good man, you seem like real nice and humble man. Much love 💚
Wow. Just smelled Paco Rabanne Pour Homme for the first time and it instantly became a top 5 frag1rance for me. I love it
Yeah it’s a classic, I finished my current form bottle at the beginning of this year, I have two vintage bottles one I’m using and one I have listed for sale on my Mercari page, both are in perfect condition, the oak moss is amazing
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey
It's so nice. I could definitely see myself wearing it a lot. While I was in the fragrance outlet I picked up a few of the Cigar cheapies in the tubes. Have you tried those? I got Royal and Cuba Original.
You were right about Ungaro III. I trust your judgement. I've seen it 1000x and pass on it every time. I'll check it out.
Louis Thompson oh this is one of the best ever I’m sure you’ll enjoy it, keep me posted if you get it
Just bought a vintage 2004 of this when only acqua alcohol fragrance were listed on the bottle as the ingredients.
This is a waw for me. Love at first sniff. It's a soapy like a white soap smell with a green smell on top, this is the oak-moass and that's it. Amazing!
Paco Rabanne Pour Homme really is one of the greatest ever! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Thanks . I couldn't find this anywhere locally here in Aus. when mine ran out year before last. I thought it was discontinued. Didn't try online though. Will look around again for it.
Oh you can easily find it online if it’s not in stores where you live, it’s still being made thankfully
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey Thanks for the reply. i have just been looking and found some locally. Really loving your channel BTW.
@@andrewh6034 glad you enjoy thank you for the support ! New series coming later today
Ahh that’s such a tough call idk I’d have to go paco Rabanne Pour Homme by a hair but they are both amazing !
Nice review and a fair rating. The smell is really good, wear it working out and seems to reactivate with a workout. The scent is quite unique today as you say, it is not a kids bubblegum! The scent is also addictive and just when you think it has settled has some more zing to it. Epic fragrance!
It’s one of the best barbershop style classics ! Thank you for watching
Awesome video and I totally agree. One my favs and for the price you can’t beat it. Azzaro and Polo Green are right up there as well. Cheers 🇨🇦
To me it smells like our vacation on Mallorca/Spain where we stay once a year at a beautiful beach at a pine forest.
Looking forward to your next video. Stay safe and healthy. BR, Dan.
Don Dan that’s an awesome story ! It’s great when a scent can remind you of a specific place or time especially one as nice as that vacation spot sounds ! I had to get all the matching products to this scent since it’s one of the greatest ever
Great review. It’s one of my all time favs and I plan on buying a bottle. I wasn’t sure if the scent was outdated or not. Subscribed!
Hey sorry for the late reply, this scent is awesome I love how clean and soapy it is and performs really well, you can’t go wrong with either formulation too which is an added plus. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Yes, this fragrance will never get "outdated".
Thank you.
Haha I knew it. Not only the vintage but the matching everything too lol. Classic. I appreciate your reviews mate.
Gazza Be Thy Name only way to do it for the full effect ! Lol
Im a little late to the show but man this is a great scent i still have a vintage bottle of this cologne. Great review as always.
Thanks so much for watching and commenting dude !
What part of jersey you live in? im in philadelphia, pa
Great video I own two bottles of it I love it I Collett my weekend fragrance only wear it on Saturdays and Sundays I don’t know why I just I like wearing it on the weekend keep up the good work
It’s great right ! I remember when you commented on my original review a few years back and first picked this one up. I’m almost done with my bottle
Anytime any says ‘barbershop’, this is what comes to mind. Also, the bottle looks exactly like it smells. Great Fragrance.
It really is one of the all time greats a classic that will never get old. One of my favorites too.
Thank you for watching and commenting sir
Yes, it's very iconic & distinct from e/thing else available!
Thanks so much for watching and commenting dude ! Paco Rabanne Pour Homme is amazing !
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey Very much so. More herby, more soapy., more smooth.
Classic, my fathers only cologne growing up
Frank Dagostino it’s definitely a signature scent for sure! Thank you for watching and commenting Frank
Todays not so good at all
I’m sure the scent was so strong back then especially in a splash bottle, that must have been so good !
Oh yeah, popular in 🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹 Haiti too. My uncle not negotiate the splash.
Very nice review. I found it pretty cheap online, but I will be trying it out in a store today, I think.

@@ScentsOfSouthJersey 👌 You are welcome. Blessings!
Just bought it and you are right ✅ love it. Glad I watched your video. Blessings!
Or use a scentless lotion too
Thank you for the lovely review as always! Is this your ultimate favorite barbershop fragrance? I`m curious to know your 10/10 perfect ones
Muhammed Saed it’s definitely one of them, I recently made a list of barbershop scents in a video, Acqua Di Parma Colonia is my number 1
Good stuff, and i actually think it was the inspiration for Grey Flannel, which came out a few years later
Still have yet to try the original Grey flannel, I did try Eau de grey flannel once but don’t remember
Dad wore it everyday while I was growing up. I wear it now too
Great scent thanks for the detailed video!!
Sir Smell-A-Lot have you tried this one ?
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey I have it's a classic. I don't own a bottle currently but I do have a perfume parlour clone which is really good. While I will secretely admit to being an Invictus fan, this is clearly their best scent. And far removed from the bubble gum stuff they produce today. Not that I dislike those frags but they are ultimately forgettable in the grand scheme of things when compared to this one!
Sir Smell-A-Lot that’s cool I have never seen a clone or impression of this scent I’d be Curious to try that, and invictus haha jk
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey Prady do a clone of it called Banadelli 😆 the quality wouldn't be the best I would say 😂
Awesome surprise! One of my all-time favorites! BTW same experience for me too - love at 1st sniff! Azzaro PH was never my thing...too strong on the honey for my tastes.
Motti Farchi yeah I had a difficult time with the strong anise opening of azzaro but Paco was an instant winner for me lol

by the way, it got added a lemony top note and the musk was replaced by tobacco, in the latest versions.
Did it really ? I am not sure what year my bottle is but it’s almost finished and at least 2 years old. Thank you for watching and commenting Javier!
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey Yeah, i've noticed it in a time i tested the fragrance here in Mexico, the girl that was giving me the fragrance tests actually told me it was a citrus fragrance, not a fougere. Greetings, cool vid!
@@javierdiazsantana it’s definitely a fougere I’d have to say
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey Greetings. Looking at these comments rn, hope you're well.
I do recall it being sold as a "citrus / wood" fragrance. I guess because the sellers don't really know the olfactive families and they handed me Ralph's Club when i asked for a russian leather fragrance. XD
Anyways, i've gained more knowledge onto the topic as i've dove deeper into perfumery (I am the perfumer for my own house) and i have to say that indeed, the current formula got a few elements replaced for synthetics and a bit sweeter and smoother, compared to the animalic - honey in the vintage formulas.

Hi Kelan,
Do you like Paco by Paco Rabanne? I think it’s quite a classy summer fragrance compared to the abysmal releases they have these days. Do you have it in your arsenal? What do they even make these days? Phantom? What the heck???

Fragrance Anatomy thank you !
The only drawback would be moderate performance, wish it were like a Kouros 💪! But it still good
Sergio Vázquez yeah it’s not the kouros performance, very few are but it’s still light years ahead of anything made today designer wise lol

I’m 25 and I hate most of the popular men’s fragrances of today. Not sure who all of these new scents are made for but they’re definitely more unisex.
