I had the Headrush Pedalboard and really liked it. However, it was way to big, especially when I have a vocalist, guitar synth, and looper down there also. So I sold it and got the Pod Go. At first, it seemed way more complicated. But now I’ve had it for a few months, I really like it! I can set up 4 snapshots for each part of a song, and can easily get the tones I for the many styles of music I play! Well worth every penny! Running it through two frfr powered speakers, and not missing my amp whatsoever! Sounds great with electric, acoustic, and bass!

Hey Henning! I had an interesting talk with a student of mine, he is a total beginner and we wanted me to help him with his digital amp. So i said to him if you want a marshall tone try these ones they are marshalls ... he answered "what are marshalls, i need a rock tone" so, we are completely into amps and knwo what we get when we choose amps, and the manufaturers name their amp sims so that we can understand what they are modeled after and how they sound. But beginners don't get it at all and they are less and less confronted with real amp so how should they ever really understand how these amps should be ... imo digital devices should rethink their naming of amps or should add metadata that is more understandable also the controls. I know musicians that are pros and still don't know how the sound changes if the poweramp is turned fully up, so they would never use that in a simulation and they might not find the creamy tones they are after. Personally i would get rid of everything if i would design a digital amp. The names would be creamy, creamy transparent, tight metal, and so on ... nowadays i do not need more i want a certain sound, not a certain amp and i get bored of tweaking very fast now.

@@81giorikas I have no problems with naming stuff or to use menus. And i own a Kemper too, had the axe fx ultra, the eleven rack, the vetta, gt8, and many many modelers more. I just got one lightly used. It had one user preset that the previous user honestly nailed. Just a very well dialed in amp, with the blocks set up for TS, delay, chorus, and plate reverb. You know what, I really love Line 6 and I believe they've nailed this product and brought back it's POD reputation :)Though I still love the sound of the HD500 lol
So your main problem with it is that it has too much? Not the worst issue to have, thank you for the in depth review, it really helped me a lot to decide to purchase the Pod Go
Just got my Pod6 GO . even as a beginner Im all ready getting some fantastic sounds out of it... and its a sound driver for interface with any music Im playing on my PC....however the first thing I learned to do it TURN OFF THAT DAMN FLASHING TAP
The main thing with the GO is ease of use and sound quality, which you showed really well. I agree about the IRs being unnecessary and probably a bit off the mark for the target audience. You did get a few things wrong. While it contains the vast majority of the amps/cabs/effects, they did leave out ?3? effect models that were too DSP hungry. It supports 4 snapshots, not 3. The editor for the GO is actually different from the Helix editor (although somewhat similar in nature). You highlighted the fact that the EQ is always going to be an EQ - that is true for the amp, cab, wah, and any other fixed blocks. Only the 4 customizable blocks can be whatever you want. You were certainly correct about the factory presets being crap - that was true for the HX Stomp and various Zoom pedals as well. We don't need no stinking factory presets :) As for the mono input, you can work around that by placing the FX Loop first in the chain, and attaching to the return, which is stereo. And it DOES support MIDI (over USB), just no DIN plugs. And your iPad can be connected to the USB port through a camera kit (bluetooth would be better, though, I admit). The problem is that they didn't write an iPad version of the software. Some people will experience option paralysis - others will welcome the choices. I think there will be two types of buyers: Sophisticated users who want all of the models, but don't want to spend $1200 on an LT and can't live with only 3 footswitches like on the Stomp and don't want to buy a MIDI controller to supplement the Stomp, and Novice users who could survive happily with fewer models.
You could get a stereo input in this way, but it'll be converted to mono, as stereo blocks placed BEFORE a mono block will be converted to mono. The following are mono. Distortion, Dynamics, Pitch/Synth, Amps/Preamps, Cabs, IRs. The rest are Stereo: EQ, Modulation, Delay, Reverb, Filter effects. Looper is mono or stereo. So unless these stereo blocks are at the end, they won't truely be stereo.
Just a thought on the idea that people can't make factory presets that sound "killer": * Nobody knows how shrill your guitar sounds in their factory. * Nobody knows how the rest of your signal chain will "ruin" their presets. * These ain't synths. The presets are just starting points for a good reason. Your guitar. Your speaker or FRFR or amp or cab. Your studio/bedroom/venue. Even once I've dialed up own sounds up, they just won't work in a particular song, for me, or in a particular room for me, or because it's tuesday and it's raining and that sound which I thought was killer yesterday sounds like Garbage to my ears today.
I've mixed whole tracks at night that sound completely different when I wake up in the morning. I'm sure sound waves travel differently at different times of the day :D
So far I really like this pedal. It sounds great through my bose l1 compact and my amp as well. Just a little heads up if anyone is thinking about getting one, chase freedom and freedom unlimited offer 200 dollars back when you spend 500. So I opened up a card, bought the pedal and got the 200 off. This pedal for 300 bucks was a steal👍
Yeah, your conclusion is true. For me, I don't need tons of amps and cabs. I want just few that I can master in tweaking to get the tone I want. Than to a lot but sound sucks. I think they should focus on how to make their amps or any effects sounds more realistic. But yes I want to have it. I like it.
I have to reboot mine often. some times several times before it will work. I can not trust it to gig with. I use the line 6 helix for gigging. It is not as simple to use as the pod go but it is more reliable. has anyone else had trouble with it not working correctly after start up.???
I think a billion options for amps is fine coz people have different preferences. If one of your favorite amps is not in the option, you'd be disappointed. People will again complain about it that they have less option. Great video.
Honestly, I see the amount of amps and effects in this as a boon to everyone too scared to get into the modeling world. It’s priced low enough to be babies first modeler, but it also has a shit ton of stuff in it so you won’t want to move onto something else so quickly. As far as scaling it down even further to where it’s the bare essentials, I’d expect Line 6 to make a POD Go mini any year now. If there’s one thing line 6 does right, it’s make their stuff available for every price point.
The lack of bluetooth is very sad for a unit out in 2020... Still bought it and the sound is awesome compared to my previous multi effect (Zoom3G) even with the default patches
I agree a "MyFavorites" tab/section would be great to customize it. We have this feature on our cameras (Sony/Canon, etc) so why not on our effects processor.!
Agree about the overload comment. Too much choice can lead to to much time wasted. As a bass player i feel there is less to play with, which is good IMO. Going to replace my Stomp with one of these. Hopefully it will help tame my tinkering.
Never have I ever had a multi-effects/modeler that had great presets. lol The Helix is actually one of the better IMHO. I'm about to pull the trigger on PodGo. We'll see!
Nothing sounds great out of the box. I like being able to load IRs. Plus this thing has a built in interface. Seems like a mid range ace. I am not really a fan of Line 6, but this seems legit.
I know line 6 doesn't want to cannibalize Helix sales, but I think the DSP power difference and signal chain block limitations were almost enough in an of themselves. the Pod Go could have used one or two more interface options, imho; namely, a midi out and a mono XLR. Used a Pod HD500 4 cable with midi controlling the amp functions as my effects pedalboard and as a backup for a long time. Looking for that functionality in a smaller package. p.s....but seriously, how has Line 6 not hired a better preset guy in 20 years? :D
I agree, there's too much shit. I believe every guitarist out there would rather have 5 -very good- amps rather than 55 goodish one. Ofc I think they know that but apparently it's easy to make a hundred amps in there instead of improving the 5 people actually use
Have you experienced any issues with the POD GO. People are saying they loose high end articulation unless they put a boss pedal such as a TU-2 tuners or a wireless relay system first...? Maybe a non-issue with the wireless pod version as the built in wireless transmitter will act as a buffer. Apparently this is an issue at POD Go's input stage according to its measured impedence. Would you please put this to the test?
40:08 , Exactly , this would be a deal breaker for me, I don't like one switch having another function if you hold it too long or hit it too lightly, then in the middle of your solo etc, you're into a menu and not able to continue... ha ha, not good. I'm glad this doesn't have that feature.
Anybody bummed there are only 4 user blocks available? I am. Would love to have 6. And, that could be accomplished by either adding two more, or simply allowing the user to remove one or two of the fixed blocks - in my case the amp and cab blocks since I always use my own amp - and replace those with two more user blocks. Then, I could/would absolutely use this live, at those gigs that don't warrant my whole rig. I have a full Helix - love it - but would LOVE a small version, same footprint as the Pod Go, for those smaller gigs. Yes, I could use the FX Loop and add a couple pedals, but I don't want to carry and set up more cables and individuals pedals. One device, please! two more user options and I could create the ultimate rig for those simpler gigs.
Man, these things are killer (helix, stomp, go). But maybe I’m just too lazy or too old. Every time I fuck with these I go down an infinite rabbit hole. Then I just look over to my old pedalboard and go plug in over there. They can be fun, and deliver great sounds. And the interface is getting better. Maybe I’m just a simpleton 😂. I like getting nerdy with gear too. But this is on a whole nother level of uber nerdiness. I don’t wanna play with computers when I’m playing guitar. I spend enough time doing that shit already. If I ever get to a point where I need this much shit, I’ll get a tech. Have a nice day 🤘🏻
I know the feeling..endless tinkering and having loads of options is actually a bad thing and takes u away from practicing and enjoy playing the geeeetaaarrr
@@HB-gm5dg You do go through a phase of tinkering, but after a while you get your head around all the sounds available and focus on on getting down to business. To be honest, these days, the Pod Go is a lot more attractive than having to lug around a heavy pedalboard and amp (been there, done that), and I can have great tones through the headphones and therefore don't need to disturb anyone. And unlike Amplitube, I don't have to take my hands off the guitar to change an effect or whatever. It still has that pedalboard quality where I can do the switching with my foot.
What you say in the last part makes a ton of sense... Sort of what Amplitube does with their Custom Shop. I went with the free Amplitube and just bought their AC30 sim. That with the Fender and Marshall included in the free version is really all that I need. Then I complement that with free VSTs for overdrives and effects, and... voila! All I need 90% of the time!
It's hard to dial up a AC30 and not put a shimmer on it...thanks edge. Edit: Concerning your 2 cents at the end... I would rather have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
The lack of real unity volume across presets is actually a cardinal sin that nearly all MFX units commit, including Line6 and Boss. Fractal AX8 is a bit better but still - yes, this drives me crazy. I just can't understand why standard unity volume across the presets is so hard to do.... :(
you're not wrong, i have a pretty good audio setup here for YT and the MKII sounds much better in the various vids i've heard.....and honestly, when it comes to guitar stuff like this i'm not a snob, but some of the tones in this thing was shockingly bad.

Isn't that what is called bias? "Bias, official definition Dictionary of culture v1.13, bias, noun, 1. to prefer your own shit over not your own shit. 2. To claim that the shit your purchased is better than the shit you did not purchase, because if it wasn't, then you might have made a mistake purchasing your shit, which would mean that you would not be perfect or had made a mistake, something your fragile ego cannot handle.". Oh yeah, that's pretty much the exact definition bias! Who'd a thunk it!
I have Helix Native and a Katana 100. You can get great sounds from each, and both can sound bad/artificial if not programmed well. The Katana annoys me because you need the computer to edit. Helix Native annoys me because it is a resource hog and crashes a lot. Bottom line...Hendrix would probably have produced an album every six hours if he had either one of these modeling platforms. Second bottom line....just get both 😂😂😂 You’re welcome!
Ditto, the Katana mkII sounds better, and I have a ton of Line6 gear, so no bias. Line6 kind of lost their ears after HD rolled out and they haven’t been the same since. That’s also the answer to when he said the presets sound bad. Not that they should be perfect, but Line6 has no ears. The sounds are always a bit hollow. Line6 modelers May be the reason for the phrase “you have to tweak it for hours to get it to sound good”.
I wanted to buy this because of the features it packs for a small pedal. And for the price. Nowadays musicians cant gig all the time with their full gear, the cab sim and direct to pa outs are very useful for me. Plus having this for home use, or live. Its killer for the price. Thanks for this :)
You lucky people hahaha: "killer price". For me this unit costs as much as what the average person in my country earns in a month or two. And shipping alone costs A LOT.
@@rodriguezelfeliz4623 so if it's a good price for us but not for you, should we cuss at it? I'm sorry you're in the situation you are, but why would we look into prices as if we were from somewhere else?
Hi , thanks for the review, I really like your channel, I have the pod go and I totally disagree with u on your 2 cents, like Yngwie says more is more,😂 I want more Amos more effects more cabs more everything, also I'm using it in the real world ,and yes settled on 4 or 5 amps eventually ,because 70 percent is not useful fir me ,but it's nice to have ,I think it's a great product ,but takes a lot of time and I mean a lot tweaking to get the right tones
You are 100% right.! there is just too much shi$ out there now days and too much tinkering etc many are playing less guitar and more tweaking..not just line 6..even others...keep it lean but mean!
I get confused what the other amp setting are that sent on a normal amplifier like the bias bias x . I really struggle with a good clean sound that’s really amp like has a weird cardboardy sound lingering in the back ground that bugs me and I can’t lose bar that I love it the dirty sounds are great

as always, nothing makes more fun than my amp+ pedalboard, but the helix ecosystem is so convenient, i love it. I toured with the hx stomp, i record with the helix native and it sounds ultra good... the pod go is for me like a helix and is so greatly improved ... awesome work from line 6 imo, and great review as always!
Do they setup the presets up so that they sound good in front of an amp and direct? is it a compromise. I guess they don't know how it will be demoed in stores.
Love your videos . Bro ... I think that the Pod Go has USB MIDI only can you make a video on that please . we would like what are our options and such . say hi to the cats.....
Actually one amp that go from clean to max distortion - like a real amp - would probably be enough. I think that is the idea behind the solid state Fender Tone Master etc...
Hey people! Am I understanding this right- that there are only four effect blocks you can use to assign effects like distortion, reverb, delay, etc., aside from the fixed blocks like way, volume, amp, can, and eq which are permanent?
Howya Henning _ Thank you for the informative review on this product. I really liked the sounds from your presets rather than the Line 6 presets. Would you possibly make them available to purchase? Keep rockin out ✌🏻😎
I don't agree with you about reducing the amount of amp/effects. It's 2020. But a star/heart/bean feature, that would put favorite stuff on the top of the list would be awesome, 100%.
yeah they could easily add the star/heart/my favorites/top 5 to the software and make it easier for the beginner until they get familiar and then go from there.
Dude you need to check out atomic's amplifire as well. It's what you describe here. the right amount of options and an amazing tone (imho way better than line6, hotone or mooer) at this price range.
Too many options is a first-world complaint, fer sure. lol I prefer having them all. Then again, I'm a long-time Helix user, and I know what I'm looking for when I look.
It's crazy to me that a software company would ever release two quality-wise distinctly different products. I mean if you have figured out a better way, which programmer would ever want to maintain an objectively worse version and even release hardware for it.
The Boss Katana can not be a helix .. you are joking . This is much better on any aspects, a lot of features than Katana.. this POD GO sweeps the floor
It's a strategy a lot of companies make - to make worse products to sell cheaply even if it costs more. It's called 'price discrimination' in economics.
So true. Menu diving is what has kept me away from all these multi effect options. Instead offer fewer options a more usability. A typical analog pedal board never has more than 4 drive pedals so let there be 6 just in case. You don’t need 60.
looking forward for the Hx stomp vs the pod go. I think there's not a good reason for buying the Hx stomp, the most attractive thing is the dual cab but when you use it there's barely any dsp left for more necessary stuff so I think that maybe I should buy the Pod go and with the money left I could buy a better Powered speaker like the yamaha dxr 10 and not the cheap headrush frfr.
I have always been curious about the Helix but this and other alike companies don’t get it. We need full functionality and not streamlined versions of their larger products because those larger products are simply not practical. If I am to travel with a multieffect unit I want something that fits in my backpack and go in the plane’s cabin as my carry on alongside with one of my guitars. The gigantic pedal boards are fun but are not practical. I feel this is finally a step in the right direction for Line 6. I just wished them and other alike companies would come and meet us the rest of the way. I am also not a huge fan of all thinkering one has to do with these things to get rid of the fizz. Out of the stuff out there I’d say it’s between this and the gigboard.
Is it possible to put this in my audio interface without anything else to record my guitar silent? Because i dont want effekts in my DAW like guitar rig because this sounds way better...
U R mistaken. There is no DIN midi socket but midi driver is present via USB connection. Using midi controller via USB you can change all parameters: presets, on/off effects or even amount of gain on virtual stomp boxes. Cheers! bye!
I was concerned that the processor power was not strong enough for some effect combinations. Has anyone tested this to see at which point the Go struggles and what happens to the sound when the processor reaches its limit?
You can't have 4 reverbs at the same time. It still has a DSP cap regardless of blocks.
4 роки тому
I think you won't be able to go beyond its capabilities as it will lock you from selecting effects which would go over its processing power; ex; if it can only process 4 reverbs, won't let you select a 5th one. So basically, if its working as advertised, you should NEVER get any type of sound quality reduction from processor limitations.

Freaking yes man. Somebody had to say it.
I've mixed whole tracks at night that sound completely different when I wake up in the morning. I'm sure sound waves travel differently at different times of the day :D
NEVER trust your Monday sounds ;)
So far I really like this pedal. It sounds great through my bose l1 compact and my amp as well. Just a little heads up if anyone is thinking about getting one, chase freedom and freedom unlimited offer 200 dollars back when you spend 500. So I opened up a card, bought the pedal and got the 200 off. This pedal for 300 bucks was a steal👍
wow swet deal
Yeah, your conclusion is true. For me, I don't need tons of amps and cabs. I want just few that I can master in tweaking to get the tone I want. Than to a lot but sound sucks. I think they should focus on how to make their amps or any effects sounds more realistic. But yes I want to have it. I like it.
I have to reboot mine often. some times several times before it will work. I can not trust it to gig with. I use the line 6 helix for gigging. It is not as simple to use as the pod go but it is more reliable. has anyone else had trouble with it not working correctly after start up.???
reallly enjoying my simple Strymon Iridium + TC Plethora X5
That setup is twice the price of the go though!
@@WRCStudio I can live with that if it spares me from squinting into a 4.3 inch screen
I think a billion options for amps is fine coz people have different preferences. If one of your favorite amps is not in the option, you'd be disappointed. People will again complain about it that they have less option. Great video.
This series is brilliant thankyou ...totally definitive and chunked up brilliantly for access by typical guitarists thankyou Henning 👍
Your suggestion sounds a lot like the Amplifire amp modeler. A limited number of them, but enough amps that sound great.
Very entertaining! Seems a very honest review from a friendly and funny guy. Also like the cats!
Priced low enough? For me, this unit would wipe out my entire savings hahahaha
The lack of bluetooth is very sad for a unit out in 2020...
Still bought it and the sound is awesome compared to my previous multi effect (Zoom3G) even with the default patches
man i love your studio. Would love something like that for my programming / guitar jams.
What about the Boss GT-1000? We need you to stress test it. Thanks for the videos
I think the same way.. I just need robust pedal with good controls and a few amps and effect to experiment wit..
I agree a "MyFavorites" tab/section would be great to customize it. We have this feature on our cameras (Sony/Canon, etc) so why not on our effects processor.!
Awesome review Henning! I've been waiting for this video and you didn't disappoint. Thank you.
Am I wrong to want the tune at the start to just keep going for 40 minutes. Great playing bro! 😊👍🙏👏👏
you might get a chance to rewrite that tune... and win insane shit.... wait a few days
Wha!🤪
yeah that tune/song was AMAZING
I like Stomp because you can run within your patches parallel with your pedals. That feature Pod Go dies not have. You can always add extra pedals!
We'll see!
+1 on the improvement of Line 6 presets. POD HD, Helix and (as expected) POD Go have so much more to offer than those presets show!
Cool we´re finally getting real post NAMM reviews of this thing!
i think the idea with the choosing what you need for the list very good.
The editing here is excellent. This needs to be said. :)
Seems like there's some noticeable audio gap when switching presets (like from 19:00) right? You say you can deal with that in live situations?
Nothing sounds great out of the box. I like being able to load IRs. Plus this thing has a built in interface. Seems like a mid range ace. I am not really a fan of Line 6, but this seems legit.
I know this a year later but you are so right, this unit sounds really awesome and much more realistic (even feel wise) when you add good IRs to it...
You have one heck of music room setup there, wow! I'm only mildly jealous ;)
Thanks again for youre amazing videos - I bought the Pod Go today and I love it!
40:08 , Exactly , this would be a deal breaker for me, I don't like one switch
having another function if you hold it too long or hit it too lightly, then in the
middle of your solo etc, you're into a menu and not able to continue... ha ha,
not good.
I noticed he had to tune twice with that Benson, it sounds sweet but i imagine you need to upgrade tuners on it
Could be fresh fresh strings yo
I really liked that 11th compressor and the 13th chorus pedal. :-) :-)
Least this guy honest. Unlike alot of others
I really wish if they could have a connector for the JTv line series Guitar ...may be something for 2022 pod Go x
It's hard to dial up a AC30 and not put a shimmer on it...thanks edge.
Edit: Concerning your 2 cents at the end... I would rather have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
I love how you're going about this!
The lack of real unity volume across presets is actually a cardinal sin that nearly all MFX units commit, including Line6 and Boss. Fractal AX8 is a bit better but still - yes, this drives me crazy. I just can't understand why standard unity volume across the presets is so hard to do.... :(
Am I crazy for thinking my Katana MKII sounds better than this? Not to mention this thing is the same price as a 2x12, Henning!
Was kinda thinking the same. Also you get sounds louder than just headphones (especially when theres no PA to depend on)
you're not wrong, i have a pretty good audio setup here for YT and the MKII sounds much better in the various vids i've heard.....and honestly, when it comes to guitar stuff like this i'm not a snob, but some of the tones in this thing was shockingly bad.
@@alrangelal Why so angry? lol... I was just saying that you're very lucky to have access to gear at that price
@@rodriguezelfeliz4623 I'm really sorry, I guess I read it wrong.
@@alrangelal don't worry... I guess I wrote it wrong as well lol
Lovely demo! Great sound, great play! May I know what song is that at 1:35?
"Six feet apart", you can actually write your own version in my huge contest and win stuff... go back a few days!
@@EytschPi42 Thank you Sir!
I get confused what the other amp setting are that sent on a normal amplifier like the bias bias x . I really struggle with a good clean sound that’s really amp like has a weird cardboardy sound lingering in the back ground that bugs me and I can’t lose bar that I love it the dirty sounds are great
we need that full songs on Spotify :V
To select the snapshots simply press up and down at the same time.
as always, nothing makes more fun than my amp+ pedalboard, but the helix ecosystem is so convenient, i love it. I toured with the hx stomp, i record with the helix native and it sounds ultra good... the pod go is for me like a helix and is so greatly improved ... awesome work from line 6 imo, and great review as always!
Just got to know your channel, really love what you are doing!
Keep it up!
Thanks for the no go Amp solution!
I really like the song at the beginning.
The line 6 firehawk had bluetooth which was nice but it was buggy.
Hey people! Am I understanding this right- that there are only four effect blocks you can use to assign effects like distortion, reverb, delay, etc., aside from the fixed blocks like way, volume, amp, can, and eq which are permanent?
Great vid. Love the Katze antics. Danke!
My friend can you do that tutorial on this with a bass?!?!?! We'd really appreciate it!!
Howya Henning _ Thank you for the informative review on this product. I really liked the sounds from your presets rather than the Line 6 presets. Would you possibly make them available to purchase? Keep rockin out ✌🏻😎
Gt1000 as blue tooth and yes the cats Rock great review Henning 🎸🎸🎸 prefer my Tube amp and pedals horses for courses 😎
6 feet apart we’re going to count together ! We’re going to count together now !
Hola desde la Ciudad de México, está perfecto tu vídeo me gustó mucho espero ver los siguientes videos y sobretodo Gracias, Saludos!
Is having ability to run dual cabs, amps, parallel effects worth extra $$$ for helix lt? Hmmmmm I’m new to the helix so not sure....
Well, headrush products have the touchscreen...
Hey outstanding demo! What guitar are using at the beginning of the video, that burgundy one... Thank you for posting this..
So true. Menu diving is what has kept me away from all these multi effect options. Instead offer fewer options a more usability. A typical analog pedal board never has more than 4 drive pedals so let there be 6 just in case. You don’t need 60.
Have a look at the heaedrush
no looper in the pod go ? you could use a looper pedal in the fx loop right ?
Yes
Great video man! How much better in sound quality and fidelity this one is from old Boss GT 100?
Can you please review the headrush looperboard?keep it up love your videos!
You absolutely right !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm still waiting for my Amarok to get here. It's stuck in DHL hell. I'm so envious that you have yours.
looking forward for the Hx stomp vs the pod go.
So if you want to do some cool tapping you can’t run distortion along with delay, phaser, reverb, and compression? Is that correct?
Favorites would be a great option.
Cheers! bye!
Nice cat! And nice video too.
I have a good tube amp, I don't need something to sound like different amps,
I just need a good processor period. Is this it?
As a bass player... it would be great if i could just buy the bass algorithms and save some $$$
I was concerned that the processor power was not strong enough for some effect combinations. Has anyone tested this to see at which point the Go struggles and what happens to the sound when the processor reaches its limit?
You can't have 4 reverbs at the same time. It still has a DSP cap regardless of blocks.
I think you won't be able to go beyond its capabilities as it will lock you from selecting effects which would go over its processing power; ex; if it can only process 4 reverbs, won't let you select a 5th one. So basically, if its working as advertised, you should NEVER get any type of sound quality reduction from processor limitations.
yep, watching the kitties
