I have yet to learn an A/C D/C start to finish, this was probably my first favourite song by them. I saw A/C D/C with Bon Scott, concerts were still relatively new to me back then. We are in Zihuatanejo Mexico now for a week of Guitar Fest shows the first week of March.
Hi Kerry, you saw AC/DC with Bon Scott!! That's amazing! Jailbreak is a great one to learn. The rhythm guitar is not difficult. It's a good song to play along and practice the timing. Pay attention to the strumming, almost all downstrokes, but there's an uptroke that is important if you want to play like Malcolm. 😉 The solo is not so easy, but it's also worth to learn, even very slowly, paying attention to the bends and the vibrato. Enjoy your trip in Mexico!
I saw AC/DC twice. The Powerage & Highway To Hell tours with Bon Scott on vocals. For one reason or another I have never seen them in the Brian Johnson era.
@@GMan-pi4or Sadly I saw the Back In Black tour right after Bon Scott died. This may have been when I saw Angle City as back up. They were called Angel City due to another band having the name The Angels.
This is a cool song to learn and doesn't look to complicated. Though this song was originally played with Gretsch (Malcom) and Gibson (Angus) guitars, you make it work with your Fender guitars. @ It's a little strange to hear/see songs played on different instruments than what the original artists used. Regardless, it's okay for hobbyists if they can get a similar or the same sound with different instruments. 💪👊
