No, it's a silhouette. Compared to modern GT3's it's 5-10s slower per lap.
You could compare it with Porsche cup cars in terms of laptimes.

I have seen this BMW M4 Silhouette up close at the BMW Dealership in Rotterdam. It actually has an S54B32 engine out of an e46 M3.

It looks a bit like a DTM BMW, but it's a silhouette with the engine in the middle.
DTM cars have a front engine.
