My last Metal gig was a band here in NZ called 8 Foot Sativa and the gig was mental, my neck was sore for a solid week after haha... you should check them out though, every metalhead outside NZ that I've recommended 8 Foot Sativa to have loved that band, they've been around since the late 90s and are still tearing up the heavy shit
What's funny is you have people in your comments who've never heard this band and will judge them off of one song, smh. Their catalog of music is very dynamic, this is from what fans or maggots call their darkest album, it's also one of the most loved. Their next album after this, not one cuss word at all. This album was basically a big fuck you to their record label and the music industry. It was the follow up to their self titled which received a lot of high praise but their label wanted them to write a softer more radio friendly album for their follow up. They were all going through a lot, drugs, alcohol and depression with this album because of all the touring they were doing and had no break going into the studio for this one. It's a good one to hear in it's entirety though. Slipknot is my favorite band ever, hopefully you continue to check out more of their music!

The actual story behind this song is a bully Corey had as a child the parts talking about sick people is the perspective of what someone thought about the disabled back in the day he's putting himself in not only his own shoes but everyone ever bullied or treated like a sick animal back then and telling the bully what he wishes he could do out of anger and frustration it's a very powerful song when you get the meaning and can understand where such vulgarity comes from I listened to this alit my HS days because that message really latched on to me and I really hope people can feel the same way and learn to treat others better because this is the mind of that person you mistreated and it can have lasting affects the whole Iowa album is proof of that in itself

Fun Fact... Cory said in an interview years ago that he use to poke his own dreads thru the holes in the top of his mask but he would get so hot on stage that the rubber would start to melt and get stuck in his hair so he cut them off and glided them to the mask.
One of my favorite bands! Slipknot has helped me through so much hardship, they wear masks and scream about fucking your throat but they have good intentions. Give another song a listen please!
