We came to a country that not many people know about, a landlocked country tucked away deep in central Asia. That country is Tajikistan! With not many videos about this unknown country I thought it'll be best to come here and see what it's really like. Let me tell you, I am very surprised not many are coming here! This could be one of my favourite countries so far, welcome to Tajikistan! 🇹🇯

Ben, the white colorful hat you were wearing is women's hat. That's why the older gentleman in the market took it and placed on Kat's head. Even when you originally bought it the sellers thought you were buying it for her. The black hat the older gentleman recommended was men's hat. He knew you had made a harmless mistake without knowing it and he tried to correct it.
Haha yeah the lads in the market were laughing at him

I live and work in Portugal and have noticed that a lot of Portuguese speak English with a distinct British twang. Possibly because many Portuguese go to Britain to work and the two nations have many historical ties, starting in 1386, with the treaty of Windsor.
@@biking-viking-claus-andersen probably because of that aswell the British English is the one that is taught in school from an early age here in Portugal, and im thankfull for that every single day! :)

Iskandarkul, which means Alexander's lake. The lake was named after Alexander the Great. There are two legends which connects Alexander the Great. One is it used be shelter for inhabitants of Sogdiana, which resisted Alexander's rule. Second, it's where Alexander's horse(Bucephalas) had drowned in the lake.

I Enjoyed that film the scenery was great ,and you and Kat were enjoying it ,whilst they were sleeping, Wakey Wakey should not sleep having the chance to gather photons of such beauty.
Wow the view at the lake was very nice
been there last december and had great time :) you might be already done the travel there but if you still there i strongly recommend to visit Istravshan and Ayni. Highway from Dushanbee to Panjakent is really spectacular and you could be encounter those two cities on the way.

That country is beautiful! The people seem very friendly and down to earth. Top notch video, and there's no rubbish or graffiti anywhere. The people who live there respect their beautiful country.

23:54 - That lake view could just as well be in the Canadian Rockies. I think you and Cat need to come to Canada and spend some time here. Start here, on Vancouver Island. Drive through the Rockies. See Drumheller in The Badlands, in Alberta. Hit Ottawa and Quebec City. Then jump to Halifax and finish off, kissing the Cod and some Screech in Newfy!
