Kai! It's great to see you using a technique similar to the one I was explaining in the stream with Wade. I have an even easier technique I'm about to go over in the next stream, though this one won't be on Facebook Live straight to the new YT channel. The second pass for the technique was only ever there for adding shading, but generally you should be able to get much deeper results on the first pass. I'll be running a teaser video here in the next day or two to show just how deep you can reasonably get.
i tend to go more deeper with my carving. its just a pain to find the wood to do them problems with using ply is the wood is never uniform in colour and you start to see the layers of the ply when you go to deep.. again i tend to do things a little different to the way you show.. but things are basically the same.
For the people who don't have the Xtool S1, could this be done on the M1? If so how? I want to try this this weekend but I only have the M1. Thanks for the video.
I have a question, I have tried doing this twice on my d1 pro 20w and I am not getting the results you are, what am I doing wrong? It's definitely showing the picture but I'm not getting the 3d effect. I'm new to all this so any help would be appreciated
Well, the carving effect will have an impact on the type of wood, the video uses basswood log wood, if it is other wood, the parameters need to be adjusted, plywood is not recommended, hope it helps

Looking forward to seeing that.
That would be lovely!
I am going to give this a try, it looks amazing
That is an outstanding technique.
Thank You!
Thanks!!
Great presentation!
Thanks!
THANK YOU SO MUCH
YOU ARE WELCOME!
Great company 👏
Thanks! We're trying!
很不错! Cant wait to try it.
Well done and easy to follow instructions. Thank you. Looking for that hat so I can try this.
That looks great. Can you tell how long it took the machine to do this? Could this also be done with the 40w laser?
I would also like to know what settings would be on a S1 40 watt
It took us 8 hours to laser engrave those to pictures!
Can try to set up half power of 20W or make the speed twice faster than 20W, just do some test before you actually do it!
Hellooooooo everyone!
Do this technique work with P2 ?
I am confused, do you engrave the darker one first then the lighter one or vice versa and what settings would you recommend for the 10watt s1
What speed and power would you suggest trying with the S1 40w laser module.
Can try to set up half power of 20W or make the speed twice faster than 20W, just do some test before you actually do it!
Very cool! What settings do you recommend for the 40w?

Can you tell me what the settings for this would be on the P2 thank you 😊
Would the 40 watt give you same look? What difference?
Yes!!
Is this just the illusion of 3D or can you actually feel the engraving?
can actually feel the engraving

Plywood isn't a good choice! Hardwood is better!
yeps sadly hardwood not always available in the quality we want in my area.@@xToollaser
Hello! Can you tell me what parameters to use to cut Leatheratte and Genuine Leather in my S1 20w, please?? 👋👋

Yes can be done with M1! Just make the power full and slow down the speed!
@@xToollaser ok. Will give it another try. Thank you
hey Kai, where's the image? S1 40W settings would be appreciated as well. Thank you!

How can i update the bitmap filter image from the baby to something else? I want a different bitmap image.

Hello,
What would be the parameters for engraving with an xTOOL P2
Bonjour
Quels seraient les paramètres pour graver avec une xTOOL P2
Well,I think with the P2 machine, the power in the video is about half or double the speed.
Is there any reason that this won't work on the D1 laser as well? I only have the D1.
Can try! Just make the power full and slow down the speed, just do some test before you actually do it!
Where can I download the dragon from? Post a link to the dragon
We will upload this file to our community website within 2 days! You will find them by clicking "Project" on our software!
