    Glad to see you two have a more worthy boat for those big lakes you fish. Tight lines guys.

      Yea it was a little iffy in the small boat.

    I caught a 7.5 that day. 24.5 inches. We spoke after...at the launch. Another great show men!

      Should have stuck to my guns but you never know when that next fish is going to bite. Thanks for watching John.

    Thanks for carefully releasing your fish. Not that I object to anybody keeping some to eat but releasing most of our fish means they will be there for the next fisher. Great to learn new methods - thanks.

    Great video! Do you make your own slider rigs? I'm surprised you're catching big browns near the 70 degree water surface. I didn't notice any weight on the lines.

    • @PineStateHunter
      @PineStateHunter  3 роки тому +1

      No, can pick up slider rigs at most tackle shops. We were using lead core line fishing 30 to 40 feet down. Thanks for watching.

    Would you mind sharing the lake new to trolling in maine (not after your spot or lure ) just the lake would be helpful thanks

      Sorry, we do not tell where we fish. This lake used to be good fishing till word got out. Now you can troll all day and be luck to catch 1 or 2 browns 12" to 14".

    How deep are you trolling just wondering because I’ve tried trolling for brown trout for multiple days and haven’t caught a single one I’m using lead core line in 30-40 feet of water with a leader and spinner and cannot catch on for the life of me

      Hey Cole, We were fishing in 40' to 60' of water and trying to stay just off bottom. Let out line until you start tagging bottom then reel up a half color to a full color. We had no luck with spoons or pickled smelts, only live shiners. If the spinners are not working you need to try something else.

      @@PineStateHunter should I let out until bottom when I’m moving or when I’m stoped and then start going?

    • @PineStateHunter
      @PineStateHunter  3 роки тому

      @@colecaterino8515 While you are moving. Here is the issue, The line we use drops 8' per color so 4 colors should be 32' deep. Speed and weight on your line will effect the depth. If you are using a heavy dodger and bait @ .08 mph 3 colors may get down to 30'. A lite spoon traveling at 2.5 mph might need 5 or 6 colors to get to the same depth. Hope that makes sense.

    I can understand getting a little bent about loosing a fish but. Then you didn't even give him the courtesy you expected. Won't be watching your channel again.

      This isnt an airport. No need to announce your departure. No one cares.
