Crow Shooting with raptor decoys

- Raptor decoys are the most common predator decoys on the UK market, they come in a variety of different sizes and species, the most common being eagle owls, peregrines and little owls. These all produce the same effect when used in the right situation. My eagle owl decoy in this video relies on their natural instinct, as crows will still see it as a threat, despite no eagle owls being present in the local area.
There are numerous ways to deploy raptor decoys in the field. Although I have used them in fields, I find they are better when elevated off the ground as they are visible from a greater distance and will naturally sit on fence posts or in trees. A common trick I have used with my owl decoy is to set up on the crows' flightline early in the morning before they have left the roost. - Спорт

Great video! Good job
Nice mate. Great viddy and great shooting.
Very innovative idea, good info. Love your videos thanks!
Thank you Jack.
I haven't as yet Tom but we will be making a start on the crows in the next couple of weeks & will let you know how we get on. Thanks
Definitely keep me posted. I like to get as much feed back as possible.
Never had any luck using an owl decoy yet. Gonna try the techniques & setup that worked for you.
Have you tried it yet and if so how did you get on?
hi mate love your vids do a lot of corvid shooting myself, any tips on shooting on the edge of a small rookery this time of year
Nice video. may I ask what you are placing at the base of the owl decoy when setting it? Looks like debris of some sort. Just a thought, I have good success hunting them by placing a dead crow at the base of the owl when used in a field, etc to look like he has a kill.
Hi dude cool video, could you tell me where you got your owl decoy from? Thanks.
Nice shoot!!
Nice! What shot number do you use?
Will any owl decoy do or does it need to be a specific type?
Nice shooting bud.
Good vid with some nice shooting . What caller was that you were using
Hi, I used a mixture of voice calling and a squeak. The squeak is a Haydels teal call. Hope that helps. Tom
What's this Benelli pump like I was thinking of buying one? Does it jam up much?
Richard Timms supernova I’m pretty shurub
Nice shooting. What gun are you using?
Thanks Max. I used my old faithful Benelli Nova with a Kicks High Fly choke. Tom
That music rocks what is it plz
Great video, could you tell me the sound track backing plz cheers
I'm sure it's called "Dust Kicker"
Are they rooks or Carrion? I heard a carrion call you back,,,
Stem the Black tide ,,
I shoot mixed bags up here of rooks, carrions and jackdaws. The numbers can be quiet even bar the jackdaws which seem to have the biggest population.
What choke was you using ?
Kicks High Flyer in Half. It's plenty when decoying and still holds a great pattern at range if needed.
