I'm the most interested that you decided to invest in two of the Kelvin Epos 300s. Would love to hear a working gaffer's review of them after you've had a year or so to really put them through their paces.
You're in luck! ua-cam.com/video/1i3JcdD99mk/v-deo.html
Great video, thanks for your effort! But do you prefer the light dome in the most expensive setup over the booklight? If so, why? I would think the booklight is softer and therefore „more professional“. What’s your take?
The booklight is definitely softer, but I need the grid for my studio setup so I can keep the key off the background. I could put a LCD on a 6x6 frame to achieve the same effect but now we're getting really extra and I need to roll on a-roll at some point lol

Just found your channel today and I know I've got a lot to learn. do you have thoughts on the nanlight 60b? how useful could it be for a beginner? or save up for 200w fixture?
all of the 60W lights are really fantastic for what they do. I'd personally recommend spending hte little extra and getting a full-color over just a bi-color unit at this point. The light loss is relatively minimal and it's nice having the full color spectrum at your disposal. A 200W will be great for a key light as well! Then the 60 can be your hair light, room light, whatever.
