I went to a Catholic school. The Sisters of Mercy told us that we should pray to Mary because she has influence over Jesus and therefore you are more likely to have your prays answered. I was kicked out of this school for asking a few honest questions like "is it not a sin to worship a golden calf?" "so how is it not a sin to worship Mary/" My Jewish grandmother had my ear.

Matthew and Luke do not contradict each other by having different accounts of Jesus birth. Particularly, Matthew has an angel speaking to Joseph in a dream, and Luke has an angel speaking directly to Mary. The writers do not make any claim to know what they recorded by being an eyewitness at Jesus birth. What they had as direct information was as a result of talking to an eyewitness, or the words of someone who had talked to an eyewitness.
For instance, I heard a miner from Bluefield, West Virginia say that one day he was working far from everyone else on a particularly distant coal vein when he heard a loud voice apparently near to him say, "Get outta this mine." He said he turned and ran as fast as he could for the entrance of the mine.
He was not a preacher, just a Pentecostal believer. His son would become pastor of a small church, but that was years away. He had been granted an angelic intervention simple on the basis of him being a believer.
A sadder story I heard at my church, where the sister of the man who caused the church bus wreck of the Radford Assembly was a member. It was the wreck causing the lafgest loss of life in American history. She was told that the bus driver was an assistant pastor at Radcliffe Assembly. He had received a strong impression that he should tell the kids that the promised bus trip to Six Flags Amusement Park would be cancelled. That there was something wrong. Upon thinking about it, he did not feel that he could disappoint the children based upon a feeling. So he drove the bus and 35 people died.
When we read or hear about fatalities, unless we are present just before, we may never know if God used some means to warn them, that nobody paid heed to the day.

I am a non practicing Catholic and a life long ‘mystical experiencer’ who chose to question my experiences , I have ‘sensed’ divine presences , Angelic, Jesus, Mary even Ascended Masters, had prophetic dreams, visions etc. But as compelling as it all is , eventually I settle down and continue questioning and researching. But I understand how ‘experiences’ can leave us wanting more. I can understand why most pursue religion, be it mainstream or occult to confirm their experiences. But we need to be educated on what maybe occurring with these ‘mystical experiences’.
Just know and trust in this; what you experience is no different, what-so-ever, than what the ancients themselves, experienced, which all these so called "holy texts" originate from. The religious minded never ask the question of what was the METHOD, for bringing Divine Revelation into existence in the first place. I envy you somewhat, as I too, have long, chosen to take the Mystical/Gnostic approach to Spirituality and Connecting with the Divine, but have yet to have any of the experiences you express here. Feminine qualities are so in word only- men can possess them and women do not possess them all the time, so they are not essentially female. You speak as a gay man, but so do I. This formulation is homophobic by virtue of its heteronormativity. Better to acknowledge a divine feminine and masculine (for lack of better words) that excludes male and female, as that would be more logical. The sexes do not monopolize these characteristics and may grow to not even embody them once the reasons for the flanderization of the sexes pass away. There is no need to see yourself as emulating a woman and straying from a 'true male' (whatever that means beyond a subjective reckoning of it) when doing things integral to your personality.

NOWHERE did God ever mention the "Yeshua/Jesus" character to us - NOWHERE! That name only appears in the "NT/Brit HaChadasha" that is NOT scripture that was given to mankind by God.
Matthew and Luke do not contradict each other by having different accounts of Jesus birth. Particularly, Matthew has an angel speaking to Joseph in a dream, and Luke has an angel speaking directly to Mary. The writers do not make any claim to know what they recorded by being an eyewitness at Jesus birth. What they had as direct information was as a result of talking to an eyewitness, or the words of someone who had talked to an eyewitness.
For instance, I heard a miner from Bluefield, West Virginia say that one day he was working far from everyone else on a particularly distant coal vein when he heard a loud voice apparently near to him say, "Get outta this mine." He said he turned and ran as fast as he could for the entrance of the mine.
He was not a preacher, just a Pentecostal believer. His son would become pastor of a small church, but that was years away. He had been granted an angelic intervention simple on the basis of him being a believer.
A sadder story I heard at my church, where the sister of the man who caused the church bus wreck of the Radford Assembly was a member. It was the wreck causing the lafgest loss of life in American history. She was told that the bus driver was an assistant pastor at Radcliffe Assembly. He had received a strong impression that he should tell the kids that the promised bus trip to Six Flags Amusement Park would be cancelled. That there was something wrong. Upon thinking about it, he did not feel that he could disappoint the children based upon a feeling. So he drove the bus and 35 people died.
When we read or hear about fatalities, unless we are present just before, we may never know if God used some means to warn them, that nobody paid heed to the day.
