The Wright Brothers would be so proud! I don't know man, I would consider myself well above average when it comes to courage, but heights is one thing that gets me. Looks exhilarating though, Wow! "Every man dies, not every man really lives." You my friend, are really living!
I lived in Utah back around 1999-2004 and I miss it very much. I’ve often thought about moving back there but my family is all in Oregon now so I’ll settle for visiting on some overlanding trips.
We love that area! There’s so much history and wonder there that we’re finding new things every time we go back. Our favorite food spot had to be Steak and Beer in Tecopa, though. The food (and beer) is amazing, and there’s some BLM land just east of town. When the sun comes up you can see the amargosa river, and we make sure to stop at China Ranch Date Farm for a date shake and some snacks
Hey Aaron , we were running a little behind so we were unable to make it to the Date Ranch. We were all stuffed from the chips and salsa. Next time they come out, date shakes are on tap!
How cool is that! We met Robert at Stovepipe Wells last January. Great guy, we had a long and enjoyable conversation about Death Valley and old VW Vans!
Hi there from Germany, Great video once again. I too do love Death Valley as well as lots of places in and around Utah. Had several opportunities to see more than the regular European tourist but of course way less than you guys. Thanks for letting us join your trips. Especially for traveling with young children we could see: it does work. Have been following you for quite some time now and we hope, we oureselves can come back to these places once (we're right now planning to ship our RV to North America to do the pan am for parental leave - if things like covid and employers permit). Just as I saw you "complaining" about gas prices 😇: If you get to a cheap gas station here in Germany (not too much of a difference throughout whole Europe, I think) we pay around 9.33$/gal during daytimes 🥵. But I think, that's the price right now to avoid a 3rdWW unfortunately. Hope to see many more of your great videos and perhaps we'll roll into each other once we start our journey - in some perspective the world is smaller than we might think. 😉 All the best, Sebastian
@@LifestyleOverland Could you please explain the "BLM" cause many of us have ABSOLUTELY no idea what it means... Proud of Y'All taking on the sky, specially with the gyrocopter. 🤠
Gotta love Caroline , such an awesome young lady ! I would be afraid of going into Death valley right now , the gas prices have to be around 10 bucks a gallon near the visitor center , ouch . I would like to go through California on my way to Texas in May but if gas stays the way it is right now I will be going a different way that excludes California . If memory serves you don't need a pilots license to fly the Gyro-Copter , similar to ultra-lights .
Anyone else getting notified that 2 videos have been uploaded, but the videos are the same? I am experiencing this with several UA-cam channels, and wondering if the creators are making a mistake or if there is a platform glitch.
That young daughter of yours will never forget your trips. - You’re making her a better person than most of us. ❤️
I did this in 2017 and it remains my favourite expedition in the US. Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks, Andrew! Let us know when you're ready to see it again. We've got some great contacts 😉👍
What an epicsode. 🤙🏼
Very nice thank you!!!
Exploring Death Valley was one of the experiences that sparked our desire to travel full time. Thanks for sharing!

Went to Death Valley in October during a huge wind storm in my Chevy Impala - I can't wait to get back

Robert and Michelle are salt of the earth folk!
Love that cabin! and the gun range in the back!!
The only thing that keeps me from an overlanding is the high gas prices. I do missed that feeling of being free. Awesome vid!🙂
Great cinematography. Thanks for sharing and taking us along.
Great video!! See you on the next one 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Great job, I really enjoyed, I must do in the next couple years
Wow, those small choppers are something else!
I need more if this episode, I like the exploring of towns and cabins 👍🏻
Now is a good time to go early February to late March after April starts to get hot but April still pretty good I think
I would love to spend few weeks there!
Carolina, que valiente!!
Que linda aventura, saludos desde México 🇲🇽
Yo ❤️ Lifestyle Overland!
Just think. Since they were last filling up, gas is OVER $7 a gallon along the valley now. Wowza! Will be there next weekend. Hope its not too hot.
Man we must've miss you...was there 2 weeks ago. That area is so vast and awesome but definitely gets hot quick!
It's already getting warm during the day. Nice and cool at night though 👍
ahh the joy of flight is really something else eh. What a cool journey, thanks for taking us along!
Yay!
I want to go!

Wat to go Caroline!
Minute 5:51+ Hit me right in the heart bone! Great video
There's only one way to comment on this video ... ... GO CAROLINE !!!! She's a gem in every way.
Absolutely awesome such a beautiful place thanks for sharing your part of the world with us all 👍🇦🇺
👍👍👍👍👍
What a fun flying adventure! Way to go Caroline! :D So many sweet memories! Can't wait to explore there myself someday :)
Tire change for the GX? Looked like Falken Wildpeak MTs. The KM3’s finally wear out? Liked the video as always.
We loved Death Valley, we went last month in February and the weather was perfect sunny and cool.
Are there a lot of gas stations out there? Have a GX 470 with a range of 200 miles.
Kevin - Lovely video. The copter flying looked like fun. But we’re you flying the drone in Death Valley National Park?
Glad you enjoyed it! And, nope we would never do that. All BLM lands.
@@LifestyleOverland - Great news - might want to consider making that clear in future videos. Thank you for the clarification.

Perfect as always! Caroline is my hero!!
Can’t wait to watch this one!!! Looks awesome! Headed to Patreon hope it’s up already!!
I love your content! I was wondering what do you use to find your trails?
I see you are using 305x70r17 tires, do you need rim spacers for 4runners?
Waiting on a sticker that says: "Be cool like Caroline" Just send it to me now! :-)

Are you able share what is too sensitive to film? Ruins? Graves? Secret Gov't Agencies? Thanks 😁

That's it , an 8 year old is braver then me 😃
She was one cool cucumber!

Some places were too sensitive to film? What kind of places would that be? Was it all public land? I’ve never been out west so I can’t imagine.
Historical sensitive areas potentially subject to vandalism and theft.
When did you get the new trailer? Caroline has gotten so big
We got the gray Getaway Shell in September of '21
why put a time of 9hrs ago, when it was made years ago!
Not sure I understand... This is a new video with flashbacks at the beginning.
@@LifestyleOverland Sorry did not see that
I apologize.
$4.50/gal so definitely before Ukraine was invaded
Negative. Pahrump, NV was still pretty low
sorry, but I'll take the Cascades and Pacific Northwest over the desert any day......
