Love these videos... The actually call it the race track because of the " racing rocks" The race when in the winter it rains, freezes over and the rocks get blown over the racetrack.
I love these videos so far i have been watching one every night. There are so many. They are having a great life. I live in England so scenery like this is mind blowing to me.
Another great video. I find that when travelling in a convoy to leave a 'dust gap' of thirty seconds or so. Much less wear and tear on the following vehicles sucking in dust. Helps with visibility too and helps not rear ending the lead vehicle and can act as a 'scout' and radio back if there's traffic.
Your video is so perfect! You make all your veiwers feel like we are right there with you!! Thanks thanks thanks!!!
👋👋👋 what an awesome adventure !!!! thank you for all you go through to take me on this adventure with you 💙
I love doing Steel Pass starting at Eureka Dunes because you get to climb the 4 obstacles instead of coming down them, much more exciting.
Awesome. Will try that next time. 👍🏻
BIGGGGG BIGGGG FAMILY BRAVO FROM TURKEY ISTANBUL
Thanks for watching in Istanbul 🇹🇷
Belle immagini, bella musica, video top...siete mitici👍👏💪😜
Great vlog, thanks for posting and sharing.I admire your adventureism(?).If no one noticed, there wasn’t a LAND ROVER, NO NISSAN, TOYOTA, FORD, Chevy,Hummer, nothing but the only vehicle that could stand up to that spot, J E E P, J E E P!Am I a fan of JEEP, yep, have been even when American Motors power plants were used in the Jeep’s. Great vlog, thanks for posting and sharing!
I have watched every single one of your videos and have thoroughly enjoyed coming along on your adventures!! Although all of your videos have had great editing, narration etc I have noticed some outstanding improvement!!! The music tracks, the narration with the history of the area you are exploring, the camera angles and footage.....wow. Totally awesome !!!! Your work is very much appreciated. Thank you and keep up the good work!!! Until next time ....
Thanks for your good work. Nice to watch you. Greetings from Poland🙂
Great filming and eding. Its nice when you explain some things. Its like a documentary. You have such a nice voice and so clear and very good to understand even for europeans. Nice job
I live not too far from DV, so on August 17 of 2020, I went to check out the heat. That day it was 131° and I did get a pic.
Like your channel, nice to see ladies on the trail, it’s rare.
Great video. I have overhanded in DV a couple times and heading back this fall. It is a hidden gem!
Another OUTSTANDING video from your amazing family adventures. As a US Forest Service employee, I truly enjoy watching your "Epic Family Road Trips"
That was some good driving!
I’ve literally been checking my phone every hour since Sunday morning for a new episode! That’s how much I love your channel, and you certainly didn’t disappoint! What a beautiful scenery and some fun technical stuff too! Thanks for the privilege of taking us along!
My favorite National Park. Saline Valley is a place where I feel so connected with nature. It is my favorite place on the planet. I have never taken Lippincott or Steel Pass before but they are both on my list
Hey guys, I know you love the western part of our country but we have lots of interesting trails in the east too. Georgia to Maine has lots of nice trails and with your water filter, water will not be an issue. Come visit us!
Just got back from Death Valley Wednesday. We too went by the racetrack and took Lippincott pass down
Beautiful scenery! Awesome video.
I loved the Lippencott Mine Road when I was there three years ago. Not very technical, but what a view!
Perfekt!!
Another very enjoyble adventure!
Desert is a paradise on its own way.
It has that magic no other types of nature has.
Awesome family, great trip and big work making this video for us.
Thanks and best wishes.
We love Death Valley and can't wait to go back to do the Titus Canyon trail! We also love Alabama Hills and are headed back this weekend! Hope you guys stopped at Fossil Falls- very out of this world place!
What an adventure. !
thank you for sharing. I can only imagine how amazing this had to be in person. I no longer see as much luggage on the roof since the new roof tents are up there.
Yes, we’ve had to shuffle our luggage around to make it work. So far so good.
@@EFRT awesome!! the fine art of tetris inside a Jeep ;-)
Fantastic. Really enjoyed your video. I love Death Valley and you did it so much justice. Can't wait for your next one at Alabama Hills, one of my other fav places. Keep up the great work.
Thank you. We are so glad you are enjoying the videos. Yes Alabama Hills area was awesome!
Just did 4 days,3 nights, 200 miles there. Magical place. The playa is called the racetrack because of the linear tracks the sailing stones make. Not because it looks like a racetrack from space. Not sure where that came from
Love Death Valley! So remote! Love the new Mt Hood tents. We've had ours since Sept and really enjoy the ease of setup and teardown. Makes stopping for the night much better! :)
I think they call it the Racetrack because of the moving rocks that are slowly blown by the wind. That is the big attraction here.
Yeah, I've been there and seen some pretty big rocks with long skid marks behind them. They must have come through after a rain and missed any signs of the rocks moving. Pretty spectacular to see.
Love you guys where are you 💙💙Thank God you guys safe as 🙏🙏
Huge fan of your channel, my family sit together to watch this epic event
Seeing all that silt makes you kind of miss all that rain on Vancouver island! As aways love your amazing journey!
I love your family
No more jumping up and down to open up the old CVT tent. That was the main reason I changed my tent for a Bush Company one.
Yes, these are so easy!
Hi Guys, once again looks like an amazing trip as we watch your video.... Beverly and I were just there two weeks ago we had a awesome time, hoping to see you guys in September till then continue to have an awesome trip and stay safe and healthy!!!! Say hello to everyone for us. Erick and Beverly
Awesome episode. Hottest temp I've experienced is 47°c (116°f) at Lightning Ridge in NSW Australia.
Great video! I made a good decision to subscribe to your channel a year ago! It definitely reminds me of the old discovery channel! traveling the country and exploring different sites as you travel. What makes it better is its a family affair! It would be wrong to think sibling rivalry doesn't go on , but the fact you've held together as a family unit is awesome and really makes this adventure something even Disney could not pull off! Congratulations for doing this channel and you have me as a permanent and loyal subscriber!
Rick From Virginia
Great to follow your journey. Thanks for the videos.
Love Death Valley! We were there a month ago. Did not make it to Racetrack but hope to go back someday soon. Just found your channel and love that your adventure is a family affair! I hope to do the same with my little family. :)
We where here at this month with the group of family off-roaders and yes highly recommended place to practice 4x4 wheeling adeventures.
I can't adequately articulate how much value your content brings to my life. Thank you all for doing what you do, and being who you are, thank you, thank you, thank you.
What a crazy place! Thanks for another great video!
Absolutely some incredible shots family ❤️❤️👍
For sure.. who is climbing up the hills to get the distant shots? You all must be in great shape.
Great video. I really enjoy watching your adventures!
According to the NPS for Death Valley the dunes rise to over 680 feet above the floor and according to NPS for the Great Sand Dunes, Co the tallest is over 745 feet from the valley floor.
If you are looking for another expansion to photography types, you should try out Astrophotography with being in so many dark zones. I'm sure your equipment is already capable. Photopills app is your friend for planning shots of milky way and others.
Love from India 🇮🇳💐🙏
Love to you in India 🇮🇳
Cool Video! Thanks for sharing!
Great adventure, great video!! Thanks for being inspiring!! ❤❤
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. Have a wonderful day.
Toujours...!!!🤠🤠🤠🤠 superbe..!!
Love the soundtrack at 4:10. Wow.
Well THIS trail got pretty technical real quick! :-) Great driving and spotting. Love following your adventures!
Very Beautiful 😍👍
absolutely beautiful video👍🏼
YEAH!! number 1! In Caroline's heart ;)
I’m having a hard time coming up with words to describe my reaction to your videos. Epic, awesome, extraordinary, incredible are words that come to mind, but also seem to be possibly used too often. So, I’m keeping it simple. Your video shots are appealing. Your music selection and the balance with live sounds is spot on. Caroline, your narrations are nothing short of exceptional and professional. Your editing is seamless. Your story telling is captivating. Keep on keepin’ on. 👍
Another great episode!
You are so nice family. I like your videos about travels.
I live in Utah and swapped from the Rainer to the Mt Hood. I miss the room but love the ease of set up and take down and I think the views are superior from the Mt Hood. Living out here in the dry west I leave the rain fly rolled up and rarely if ever use it.
Love how every wrangler i see has a cracked windshield. Both on road and off
Unit now I did not manage to crack the window (190'000 km)
It's a badge of honor
@@sean7899 badge of annoyance you mean
Most impressive trips over Lippencott and Steel Passes. Helpful seeing you folks successfully negotiate those 2 rough roads, which I intend to traverse. eventually. Explored DVNP numerous times, but have yet to try those 2 challenges.
Another great video guys especially with it raining today this Monday in North Michigan, I was just wondering do you guys have a drone some of the shots were would’ve been fantastic flying it specially seeing the race track from above also the Sandune‘s. Ok 👌🏼🔥🤠🔥Camping Russ out
Always a fan
So glad to see the family back together traveling. Great job on the roof top tent upgrade.
What's with the headlights on Mandy phasing in and out?
Nice journey
been thru Titus Canyon, pretty easy, i think the Racetrack is tougher on vehicles, it just wears you down, same w/ Saline valley, just bumpy, not much terrain... but Lippencott mine & Steel Pass is a tough one. and the road to where the Manson Family hideout was. i went alone so i was nervous since no backup available. pretty much childs play in a jeep, mine's a 2001 F150 4wd. 8'-0" bed, single cab & low profile shell...good to sleep in as I'm , 6'-8"...i used to raise Shorthairs too...no better dog.
Sometimes I feel jealous of how long you guys stay out, other days I wonder how you manage to do it so long without being exhausted! Usually a week anywhere in the jeep or not has me wiped out!
It's also called the race track because of the rocks that seem to "race" or move on their own across the ground and leave tracks in the dirt.
I'm loving the journey
It's another amazing Epic Family Road trip!!! A few questions came to mind while watching this one. How many miles can you go on two tanks of gas? How many days were you in death valley? I'm also guessing you made it through death valley with the two tanks you had.
I watch multiple overlanding videos. Have you ever tried to connect with ozark overland adventures and explore what the ozarks have to offer? The water crossings and trails look epic😁
i really like this channel , thanks !!.
keep it going !!.
Vehicle no.2 should keep some distance to avoid inhaling dust.Couple of 5 door Toyota LC wagons would do a better job with space /comfort etc!See any weird lights at night??As in Ufos!
nice video guys.♥️♥️♥️♥️
That's y i got me a lifted custom wrangler
Nice episode! 💖💖💖
Man that woulda been cool if you guys coulda swung by the Ghost Town @ Cerro Gordo !!! You guys were like 20min away..
Did you find the bathtub filled with blue marbles out there too? You drove right by it.
Love it !!!!!
The Titanic was not completely compartementalized , but did sink more slowly than previous designs.
I couldn’t sleep in that heat without air conditioning lol
Love it 😍
Some people like to do the Mt Whitney to death valley in one day trip. The highest point and lowest in the 48 states.
Great Video! When we tried to drive Lippencott road (in our swiss jeep) in september 2019 a stuck pickup truck with normal street tires was blocking the road for a whole week! We then used the route over hunter mountains - which was wonderful as well.
Did you visit the hot spring in saline valley? Its great :-)
Should have watched the movie first to finish - of course you visited the hot spring :-) But Stop ! - You drove through without taking a bath ?
Nice 👍👍👍
I would love to be there looks awesome
Nice , I love Death valley but I learned something on my first time there , always have enough gas in your vehicle to get back to a real city without buying gas in Death Valley , it is without a doubt the most expensive gas in the country bar none .
You didn't go to the castle ? I guess it is a bit of a tourist trap but it's still pretty cool . I'm not sure the dunes there are the biggest in the country though if you go southeast about a mile from the Plank road monument (off I-8 east of El Centro about 30 miles or so ) there are some really big dunes the biggest one has a hill climb side nick named Oldsmobile hill but back when I was riding there you needed a really strong dune buggy or 3Wheeler to make it to the top and coming down that thing was kinda crazy . I could get up it with my 250R but barely and back then I only weighed in at 135lbs and my bike was not stock , most of my friends couldn't make it up , that hill is crazy huge .
I look forward to watching the next video , playing catchup right now as I'm a pretty new subscriber .
Beautiful place, I feel bad for your air filters though
Definitely need replacement after that.
Was there a Season 6 Episode 29, a continuation of Death Valley, as we can’t find it? Trying to watch each episode as we love you guys and your amazing lives and travels!! Take care, stay safe and know that us guys here in Australia think you are pretty cool!! Di and Max ( couple of 66 year olds who love our 2008 Jeep Wrangler)
Fantastic guys.
Do you notice a weight difference with the tent change?
Great episode. Even before I saw one of you draw a smiley face in dust inside the car, shortly after the video began, I wondered how long does it take to clean your vehicles and gear after an excursion? How do you get all of that dust out of the interior? Gads! Is there a method to your clean up tasks? After leaving Death Valley, do you head to a national park and use their showers or to a nice motel/hotel/Airbnb and take long hot showers?
Awesome episode this one... and the next one looks is going to be unreal, too... Have a question, can you guys tell me the name of the two last songs of this video? the ones with the classic guitar playing... they are so so nice!! Thanks!!
Do you all carry guns with you for your protection ? Great video guys and amazing footage !!! Stay safe and god bless you all ❤️❤️
Great vedio sir if you want more adventure you should visit nepal one time
Love the adventures!! Keep up the great work!
Always wondered, what size fridges do you use and how long do you go between restocks?
Hi there. Glad you’re enjoying the adventure. Both fridges are 40 L and we can carry enough refrigerated food for a week and a half to two weeks. We have lots of dry goods as well that don’t need to be refrigerated. We typically go grocery shopping as we are passing through a town. Maybe once a week. 👍🏻
Great video! What size tyres are you running on Vandi?
When did you guys update the roof top tents? Tell us more!
