In Chapter 6 which foreshadows the future, someone is interviewing Kana, and in the interview Kana says “A-Kun” which is the nickname she uses for Aqua in public. So they’re still talking either way, and that interview hasn’t happened yet and Kana didn’t get her reward flowers, you know the similar one that Akane got. Akane analyze people so she’s gonna know what Kana feeling, and hopefully put some sense into Kana because Akane knows that Aqua is attracted to Kana in Chapter 87. I’m curious what’s gonna happen next chapter and hopefully it’s doesn’t get skipped so we get see what Akane says.
Except that was just a misunderstanding on Akane's part. We know that Aqua loves Akane from the fact that he confessed to her in chapter 97, so there's no reason to assume that Kana is wrong in what she says this chapter. It's clear then this is leading to Aqua and Akane reconciling and getting back together like Kana is telling Akane to do.

Your theory is not too far-fetched. But right now the possibilities are Ruby and Akane, if Akane establishes herself as a romantic interest and the author kills her off, then he could set Kana as Aqua's partner.

Just like some other people I think that Kana has given up on Aqua because of her mental health. Trough whole story we see that Kana and Aqua even though they do share chemistry, Kana always ends up seeing Aqua kissing other girls like Akane, maybe Frill because her role is of Airi while Aqua's role is of Hikaru (and we all know what Airi did to Hikaru), and even Ruby his own SISTER. I saw somebody commenting how the interaction between Aqua and Kana made Kana relaise that she would probably have her heart broken AGAIN. Not only that but my second favorite ship is Aqua x therapy and it could sail because one of the characters finally takes steps to help their mental health.

A lot of people are pissed seeing as Kana wouldn’t act like that, but I think there are 2 reasons for this decision. One is that she heard of Aqua’s plan to kill Hikaru. But the other and maybe the more likely reason, she’s been burnt out so many times on getting Aqua to like her only to crash and burn over and over again. The moment she had with Aqua at the last chapter probably made her realize that she can’t handle another false hope again. We’re gonna have to wait for the next chapter to get the real reason as to why she’s giving up.
Could also be her insecurity. Kana is known to beat herself up and give everyone else the spotlight. She thinks she's not good enough for it. I think it's one of those situations.
If Kana is giving up on Aqua for her health I don't mind. Not only that but my other personal favorite ship could sail and that's Aqua x therapy because this guy definitely needs therapy before he starts dating.

Think about it from her perspective, she sees Aqua and Akane getting along during the cast meet up for the play, then them spending time together growing closer during the rehearsal after Akane took care of Aqua after he had a panic attack, the play ends and Aqua seems happier than he's ever been and when him and Kana go out to dinner he tells her he finally thought it was okay for him to fall in love followed by him starting to date Akane for real. When she sees him a year later after he's broken up with Akane she can see that he is depressed again, and despite all that happens throughout the movie arc he remains stuck in that depressed state. It's not unreasonable for her to think that this is because of the breakup with Akane, and that he'll only be able to be happy once him and Akane reconcile.

Stated multiple times before, Aqua was always romantically invested in Kana but chose not to as back then she was an idol. Mem and Akane stated that Aqua was attracted to her yet buried his own feelings for her sake. When Kana asked him to imagine moments of him being happy to emeblish his acting, almost all of them had Kana in them and he even stated it himself that he has the most fun when he's with her. In a chapter, Aqua took Kana on a "date" and told her that making their partner happy is what matters the most and after Akane finds out she confronts him, telling him that he could put Kana in danger by being with her while she's an idol. During Aquakane real relationship, Akane states that she knows that Aqua likes Kana and that it had always been obvious to her but chose to ignore it because Aqua asked her out even though the question sounded odd to her. Even mem states that Aqua is the obsessive one towards Kana because all that he has done was to not put her in danger because losing her like he lost Ai would be his breaking point. Overall, looking at all the signs and statements from characters themselves, we can conclude that Aqua is interested in Kana. For the "if" author will throw the ship off or not is the real question but he did say that Kana was his fav so who knows?
As a Aqua x Kana fan ,the only thing I can say is that I'm happy for Aqua x Akane fans, but that doesn't mean I've lost my hope. Nah that’s kind of a messed up ship if you think about it, he only had peeked interest in her cause she reminded him his dead mom/ favorite idol. He only was only mesmerized by a person she was pretending to be. That honestly shows his character to have an unhealthy obsession over someone playing a dead person he idolized.

But in reality, Hikura's plan is to kill Akane, and while Aqua is too busy trying to prevent Kana's death, Hikura will take advantage of it and kill her. Eventually, once Aqua and Kana find out about this, Aqua will feel stupid and disappointed in himself for falling down in such an easy trick.

Just like some other people I think that Kana has given up on Aqua because of her mental health. Trough whole story we see that Kana and Aqua even though they do share chemistry, Kana always ends up seeing Aqua kissing other girls like Akane, maybe Frill because her role is of Airi while Aqua's role is of Hikaru (and we all know what Airi did to Hikaru), and even Ruby his own SISTER. I saw somebody commenting how the interaction between Aqua and Kana made Kana relaise that she would probably have her heart broken AGAIN. Not only that but my second favorite ship is Aqua x therapy and it could sail because one of the characters finally takes steps to help their mental health.

A lot of people are pissed seeing as Kana wouldn’t act like that, but I think there are 2 reasons for this decision. One is that she heard of Aqua’s plan to kill Hikaru. But the other and maybe the more likely reason, she’s been burnt out so many times on getting Aqua to like her only to crash and burn over and over again. The moment she had with Aqua at the last chapter probably made her realize that she can’t handle another false hope again. We’re gonna have to wait for the next chapter to get the real reason as to why she’s giving up.
Could also be her insecurity. Kana is known to beat herself up and give everyone else the spotlight. She thinks she's not good enough for it. I think it's one of those situations.
If Kana is giving up on Aqua for her health I don't mind. Not only that but my other personal favorite ship could sail and that's Aqua x therapy because this guy definitely needs therapy before he starts dating.

Think about it from her perspective, she sees Aqua and Akane getting along during the cast meet up for the play, then them spending time together growing closer during the rehearsal after Akane took care of Aqua after he had a panic attack, the play ends and Aqua seems happier than he's ever been and when him and Kana go out to dinner he tells her he finally thought it was okay for him to fall in love followed by him starting to date Akane for real. When she sees him a year later after he's broken up with Akane she can see that he is depressed again, and despite all that happens throughout the movie arc he remains stuck in that depressed state. It's not unreasonable for her to think that this is because of the breakup with Akane, and that he'll only be able to be happy once him and Akane reconcile.

Stated multiple times before, Aqua was always romantically invested in Kana but chose not to as back then she was an idol. Mem and Akane stated that Aqua was attracted to her yet buried his own feelings for her sake.
When Kana asked him to imagine moments of him being happy to emeblish his acting, almost all of them had Kana in them and he even stated it himself that he has the most fun when he's with her.
In a chapter, Aqua took Kana on a "date" and told her that making their partner happy is what matters the most and after Akane finds out she confronts him, telling him that he could put Kana in danger by being with her while she's an idol.
During Aquakane real relationship, Akane states that she knows that Aqua likes Kana and that it had always been obvious to her but chose to ignore it because Aqua asked her out even though the question sounded odd to her.
Even mem states that Aqua is the obsessive one towards Kana because all that he has done was to not put her in danger because losing her like he lost Ai would be his breaking point.
Overall, looking at all the signs and statements from characters themselves, we can conclude that Aqua is interested in Kana. For the "if" author will throw the ship off or not is the real question but he did say that Kana was his fav so who knows?
As a Aqua x Kana fan ,the only thing I can say is that I'm happy for Aqua x Akane fans, but that doesn't mean I've lost my hope. Kana is my sunshine and even if she lost her hope, we will stand to help her. I think that's kinda refers to Tokyo Blade arc, when she was trying to make everyone shine even if she is in the shadow. Nah that’s kind of a messed up ship if you think about it, he only had peeked interest in her cause she reminded him his dead mom/ favorite idol. He only was only mesmerized by a person she was pretending to be. That honestly shows his character to have an unhealthy obsession over someone playing a dead person he idolized.

Idk about the worst arc given how the movie is going with, and all the characters being bad is a stretch. Ruby I won’t deny is really divisive. On one side her trying to figure out Ai’s true emotion was compelling, but the incest part was pretty weird.
