Wow this is great man, i love the idea of more older people trying to connect with the more contemporary types of music kids these days listen to, i would like to experience new things as i get older too so i definitely understand. Anyways can you react to Money Machine - 100 gecs : )
ayyy_donkey, 'kids' is a relative term, the older you get the older 'kids" get! Seedless, Thanks for the suggestion :) I will put it on my list and thanks for watching!
Well , Death Grips is a very diverse band , because they experiment with different genres in their albums. Ranging with songs from Hip-Hop/Pop to Industrial/Experimental Metal. So it's kinda hard to understand at first and it's definitively not for everyone but a second try with albums like "The Year Of The Snitch" would give a better look into them. Great video btw!
There are really only 3 possible reactions to Death Grips: I love it; I hate it; I don't get it. I'm in the first one, btw. Admittedly, this is one of their more abrasive tracks
I kinda agree, but honestly the first time I heard it I was kinda in the middle of love it or hate it, and as I gave it more chances I began to love it. I feel like it’s a little fluid
Check out Biting Elbows, 'Heartache' and 'Control' particularly. It is one story expanded into 2 very different but cool videos (so should be watched in one go). Part 1 - Heartache - ua-cam.com/video/84o6SPJUyrI/v-deo.html Part 2 - Control - ua-cam.com/video/uaKjhbsvSmE/v-deo.html
@@kerrymac1 Thanks :) BTW, frontman of the band and director of the video is pretty promising film director. He shot the latest John Wick's producers project starring Bob Odenkirk: www.imdb.com/title/tt7888964/ He also directed several videos for Leningrad band.
New sub. You have to see the "Light and Noise" live version of this track. Zach Hill, the drummer is not human. You'll get a better feel for the energy that this band gives off. It will change you.
You might want to try out King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. They’re a psychedelic, garage, etc. band. A good place to start would probably be Nonagon Infinity, but practically all of their albums are amazing.
@@kerrymac1 It's Pittsburgh slang for paranoid that Death Grips uses in some of their songs and people picked it up and started using to mean they were Death Grips stans. You can call yourself or someone else noided if you're really into DG. Or also if something related to the band is dope, like a drawing of MC Ride, or a visual interpretation of one of their songs, you can call that noided too. :)
This is definitely not one of the better songs to be introduced to Death Grips to, although I could think of much worse (anything off of Government Plates). If you ever try listening to this group again, I suggest the much more dance-worthy "Get Got," or the intro to their first EP "Beware," which is much more traditional in structure and sound. Or you could jump in the deep end again an listen to "Ring a Bell," one of my favorite of theirs but very experimental in sound. Possibly even more so than what you just experienced. God Speed.

@@kerrymac1 I sure will!

@@kerrymac1 listen to their song "I've seen footage"
I love the shirt!
BB, BCS universe is truly the best!
Their song Hustle bones is more of a song than any other of their songs, that's a good place to start down the rabbit hole. Stay noided.
You rocked out. You know it.
Nice reaction.
