I love the background my name is Robert B I grew up Daly city acacia I was 3rd generation to SF now in Colorado and I enjoy the video of San Francisco miss it a lot I love the history of my roots thank you David
His accuracy is what blew me away he had a few passes right at the pile on. He hit Deebo right in the chest from 45 yards away. He hit Deebo on his knees right at the pile on and out of bounds. Then Aiyuk right in the numbers from 35 out all 3 TDs. He deserves this credit and its good to see you representing for him all the time. Give him better pass protection and his numbers will improve dramatically
Those are historic posters from the glory days. I think those "movie theater vibes" are recalling those days of the 80s and 90s when movie theaters had posters which were also historic and collectable. Nowadays, in the digital age, hardly anyone pays attention to posters. Regardless, it looks cool, love the historic vibe.
One thing to consider is that the higher-than-average INT rate may simply be a side effect of how aggressive and precise Purdy normally is with fitting passes into quick tight windows. So while the INTs are obviously bad when they happen, and it's certainly something for Purdy to work on, some of the factors that lead to them are actually a key part of Purdy's success. It's sort of the corollary to Trey Lance being praised for only throwing 1 INT in college - it turned out that was because he was just throwing to wide open receivers all the time and virtually never had to throw into tighter windows. Once he hit the NFL and had to hit those tighter windows off of more complex reads, he couldn't do it.
The man had an insane season. I dont know what happened in that Baltimore game but that was the first game where I’ve ever seen him maybe think too much about his next throw. Outside of that game and bits of the SB, the guy was seemingly ALWAYS playing in flow state. I think for players who shift into flow state easier and faster than others (Mahones + Wilson to me are cerebral flow state QBs) reps are what make them better as a whole. I think more of this game becomes muscle memory for Brock and he should get even more efficient especially as his chemistry continues to build with his offense.
A ton of high level of experience in a very short time, first full offseason, his best arsenal at hand for sure (even with the OL issues). BA would be crazy to miss out on playing with Brock this season. The only 2 things that can stop Brock is himself and personel attrition.
Brock is the Truth!! In the end he will show us who knows and who doesn't know football. He will destroy the so called analyst credibility. Brock is just one of them guys that slipped through the cracks and the scouts just didn't notice his game. His quick footwork, accuracy, patients, demeanor, and his ability to see the game. It is so rare for a QB to have all those abilities. He's everything a coach wants in a QB except he's not 6'5".
Brock took apart an excellent Oregon defense in the Holiday Bowl. Impressed in preseason. Obviously, he balled out when he got his chance and showed improvement game over game. So will he regress? Doubtful.
Good!!!! Very Hot 100 degrees!!! But I and my dog are cool inside my home!!!! I am doing good...maybe tonight a ND Midnight Bar-B-Que!!!! I am doing Great!!!!
Im not even concerned about Purdys interceptions considering the 11 picks he threw came in what? 3 or 4 of the 18 games? The rest of the games he didnt throw a pick, thats krazy. Alot of qbs throw INts in like 65 to 70% of the season games, at least 1 pick. His 11 picks came on 1 hand the amount of games he threw a pick, and that was against top knotch defenses at least at that time, and a maybe half of those picks were tipped or batted passes. Only a few of em were bad decisions or throws.
To an extent. I think it's noteworthy that 9 of the 11 INTs came in the losses (1 vs. Cle, 2 vs. Min., 2 vs. Cin., and 4 vs. Bal.), with the other two coming with 1 in each Sea. game. So considering that the INTs correlated very strongly with the losses (earthshattering analysis, I know), I think it's certainly something to pay attention to. Dropping that INT rate from 2.5% even down to 2.0% would essentially eliminate two of those picks, and if you take away one pick from any of those four losses except maybe the Baltimore game, that almost certainly flips it to a win. So it's worthwhile pointing out that this is the one area where he definitely can improve.
@@Wolfeson28 But I bet if you took the top five QBs, how much you wanna bet that the majority of their picks over the last two seasons came in losses as well. Not accusing you, but this is only a topic because of Purdy's draft status. If Brock was a 1st rd pick, we would be praising him by saying the INTs are nothing more than him being aggressive and trying to make a play, like we do the other top ten QBs........................or we wouldn't say anything at all.
@@gunner-qf9eh I agree with you on the aggressiveness part. Read my other comment on this video - I said pretty much that exact same thing. But my point here was simply that (yes, as with most QBs), INTs often lead to losses when they happen, so it would obviously be a good thing to try and trim that number down. It's one relatively small area to improve on amongst what was mostly an elite QB season. You're right, though, that we certainly don't want Purdy to sacrifice the aggressiveness that's helped make him so successful.
why dont players bounce the ball backwards for help... i was thinking about the way it spirals laterally in the end zone hopefully have one man look forward and one backward if that's the case... its likely they'll kick funky after penalties... seems like a fair shot at balancing or capitalizing on post TD penalties... obviously keeping that 40 yard head start is serious business...
I predict he’ll run away with the Mvp this year- he’ll play like last year and better but without a three game slump and with a better oline and even more weapons/ maybe two losses for the year.
That's a wild thing to expect as a massive Brock fan I think he will improve as a qb but I'm still of opinion his numbers could dip I'd expect yards to go up but efficiency to dip just a little Brock will have a great year if he does what you expect that would be insane and his price would go over 60mil per year.
Honestly 3 of those were mostly on o line his receiver and a ridiculous tipped plays that landed perfectly in the opposite rusher hands. The first was 100% on Brock.

Purdy INT numbers percentage were inflated by the one really bad outlier game against the Ravens.
And Minnesota while concussed

I wonder what Purdy’s rain games versus dry games numbers would’ve be?
Love the background!
I am very concerned about his ability to throw in rain/snow.
I love Purdy... I live down the road from the stadium in Ames, Iowa, and traffic looked normal.. might wanna cool the Beatles comparison.

Brock just needs to diversify passes. Ravens took away middle of the field, those bread and butter lanes.
i have a tshirt....................5 Super Bowls.
He should have a ring already if it wasn't for the refs.

Run the ball more and throw even less passes to help him 😳
