I think…. Not francisii
I’d say your cuttings are far too small, notice the whole leaf made a much larger pup?
It takes a year or more to get to this point if you live outside the tropics😖

To remove the mesh screen from the pot bottom, it delay water run out of pot, keep soil high moisture, roots would rot, to add more perlite or pumice in soil to prevent roots rot.
