This will be my first year to attend. While I enjoy the vendors, I’m going for the presentations. I’m also looking forward to meeting people, particularly UA-camrs and the YLRL women.
The best way to "Advance the State of the Art" is to share ideas... and that is what conventions like Boxboro! and Hamvention do. The social aspect is always a draw, but it the seminars and discussion groups are amazing sources if inspiration and information. I have been there for 30+ years, and have learned so much and been inspired to try experiments that I wouldn't have known existed. Thanks for putting on a great event, Bob... Wish I could make it this year !
