1963 Spitfire at the 2023 All Triumph Kastner Cup race July 16 @ Road America

All Triumph race July 16, 2023. I started from the back of the field, some problem with the ignition (later found arcing inside Distributor cap) limited top end to under ^K, normal is 6800 RPM. Watch the Accusump pressure gauge (blue cylinder on right side). The external oiler is earning it's keep saving the engine from starvation, in the left handers as oil flows away from the pick-up in the sump and block pressure drops.
Also, the vibration at speed is real, I found a seized Heim joint in the rear axle locating rod. The car was shaking like a wet dog as the right and left side axles fought each other.
