Yes! I did cut flowers for the first time this year and i was wondering when to gather the seeds. I did zinneas and dahlias.
+Fields of Grace yay! Glad you tried cut flowers! You can harvest dahlia seeds and you can also divide dahlia tubers!
OMG! Thank you so much for this video! I previously saved zinnia "seeds", but now know I saved the wrong part🤦🏻♀️. Will be getting the correct seeds next time.
👍
+gardengatesopen Thank you 💚💚💚
Who would have guessed that is where the zinnia seeds are!
+Katherine Murphy I know 🤷♀️
What is the best time to replant them? Thx.
+Masuma Jaffer I plant mine after the last frost in the spring!
Cut zinnias in a vase, dried. Are those seeds usable?
+Violet Gracie unfortunately not
Ahh, zinnia seeds are under the fluff in the middle of the flower. Just like echinacea, daisy, black eyed susan, sunflower etc.
If you pull on the petals, they typically pull out attached to the end of the petal.
@@shesamadgardener right, but there's more in the middle, too :)
