    I started picking up guitar again in my 50s after trudging through the snow to lessons after 8th grade classes w guitar case in hand, holding my precious Stella! Marty, you’ve been w me every step of the way since my return. I’m grateful!!! You bring knowledge but more importantly-comfort! Thank you!

    There is one song I would love if you taught me and the audience Marty. That song is Bon Jovi Dry County, including the solo. I love the way you teach and no one else on UA-cam has done a lesson for it. Rock on Marty

    Great lesson; these are the types of embellisments/licks that are actually musical -- as opposed to people mindlessly playing repetitive scale-type "shreds" as fast as they possibly can. Give us more of this!!

    Damn, I remember being in high school playing guitar and always scrolling through Marty’s Chanel because he provided the best source of information for beginners. Only just came back after all these years and damn, ol mate sure has aged haha jk. Keep doing what you’re doing Marty and continue to be an amazing source of information for younger guitar enthusiasts. Rock on dude 🤘

    ive been looking for a video on your channel explaining some allround theory in blues chord progressions, so it becomes clear what chords to use in blues progressions in C, A, G ,E, D. is there some diagram of sorts, that shows this?

      i can see your answer, but i cant open it

    • @chesterburnett3466
      @chesterburnett3466 Рік тому

      @@BertfromBelgium The song Key e.g. Am, is the I Chord, so find the note on the E string. So here the A is at E5. Next door to it is the IV Chord /note. Here, D at A5. Your V chord/note
      is two frets up from the IV, so it's an E note/chord at A7. You can google the standard 12 bar progressions for the chord order. Hope that helped. Cheers
