yeaahhh. the Legacy CX model has been my beater for nearly a month now. i wear them almost daily just bc theyre so comfortable and as my friend said, they “look like (me)” so they go well with nearly everything. as for the Rick Owens comparison, i did the pentagram lacing on one shoe and that also sets it apart if you’re into abstract//obscure aesthetics
Run star hike are Better looking imo, the shape of the back Edge of the CX outsole is weird. I would have preferred them to Run Star Hike if they Had not that detail.

It depends on the shoes you want to buy... Some are a little small or a little big. Usually the Converse website will tell you if you need to buy a size or half a size bigger or smaller. 😅

hey! I'm actually now trying at home two pairs 42.5 and 43. May the 43 just at half size bigger than 42.5 is wider because this is also the site range where men get them too. But lought wise 43 doesn't feel too big. Just bit more space for my foot to be relaxed and not squished. So maybe trying half or even a full site up might be nice for wider feet. I know it feel wierd but I do believe we've been condition to choose the smaller size when long term some space to wiggle the toes is great.
how much do they weigh exactly (per shoe)? i keep seeing conflicting information online. and how much do the run star hikes weigh? also possibly a silly question but does the extra bump in the back make it difficult to go down stairs? i feel like my heels would catch on the stairs
I have a pair of grey floral cx legacy converse and honestly, they are a bit uncomfortable and hard to walk in. The plastic at the back can dig into your heels after a while and give blisters, they are big and chunky so not as natural to walk in and they are quite heavy. Otherwise, I do like the design and after getting used to it they are alright.

Which add more height? I love my Run Star Hikes, but some jeans "round" out and under at the bottom instead of how my Docs are straight down and don't let the pants slips under my foor (hope that makes some sense). I like the almost opposite effect on the Run Star Legacy's back due to that factor alone. If there was a shoe like the Run Star Hike that didn't round under in the rear or had just a little more height, that would be my perfect shoe.
I like them but would prefer if Converse trimmed the tongue to be level w neck of the shoe. Don't like the look of tongue being higher. Looks like a bib to me.
I have the Chuck 70 AT-CX new future type they have a better sole than the new AT CX legacy they have the same leather badges on sides and still have stars on heel the toe section is stronger than the new legacy it has the extra interior cushioning and it has 3 layer construction which you dont see on many trainers nowadays this is why I bought them instead Only paid £60 in JD sports sale usually £110. I also have run star hikes also stronger sole love both pairs prefer converse to nike stuff
I am glad that they made a new design anyway they have been making the same ones for decades dont see anything ugly about this type they are more fashionable

i prefer the cx as a lot of people have the hike these days however i find the hike more comfortable and versatile
