You can always buy different laces to match the beige white! I think the motions are sick and I’m gonna get some! Idk if I want the black or tan ones tho… I might just get both LOL

I think the run star motion are definitely a bold striking shoe that demand to be apperciated! I saw someone wearing them two days ago and definitely had to complement them on them. I want a pair but I can't imagine just how huge men's size 12 are going to be , also the price is keeping me from pulling the trigger. Thanks for the review!

@@oliviaswl I think i'm going to bite the bullet soon I just love them so much and don't want to miss out on this one. Just out of curiousity how is the wait of the shoes? My vans platforms are honestly kindof heavy and think that keeps me from wearing them more often and just wonder if the converse are similar. I know the are called 'run' but I can't imagine they are actually the best running shoes.
I was accidentally sent a pair by mistake from GOAT, and I have to be honest, I thought these looked ridiculous at first, but once I tried them on, I'm sold, its really fascinating how much I have warmed up to this look...

@@ericac4481 Good question, I'm new to that third party online company. I'm overall impressed, and pleased with their customer service, however, mistakes happen, and in my case, it allowed me the opportunity to try something new out that I would otherwise never have even considered. To fully appreciate this shoe, you have to see it from all angles and actually try them on.

I have both but the Run Star Motion I have in Lime Green and I absolutely love them I want More and I am Looking for Mandarin Orange in size 10 women's in the Run Star Motion. Absolutely Comfortable and I too love absolutely love my Run Star Hike I have 3 pairs now and only 1 of the run star motion. But I love them and you were right on with the height and how comfortable they feel and I also have quite a few pairs of Chucks high tops all high tops for me. Love them But I am torn of which ones are my favorites Run Star Hike Definitely but if I can get more colorful ones in run star motion I am all about them too.

I just ordered Converse Star Hike after watch many video and read reviews, 5 starts they are light and comfortable. No Converse Star hike is so heavy, the morion one is lighter (I tried to lift it to see at the store, I can not try because no my size).
my feet so tired after wearing it just a few hours. Additionally, today is raining, I supposed the shoes has good grip, but it is not I almost fell like 3 times while I was walking especially on smooth surface that wet. I can not return the shoes since I wear it like 3 times already. Now i’m scare of wearing it, I will wait until summer to wear again.
I wouldn’t recommend that, don’t waste your money.
I have both of these. I like the height in the motion shoe better (makes me taller) and when just walking short distances super comfy BUT I hike with my dogs up and down trails and when I do this (I should be wearing hiking shoes!) the regular platform converse is more comfortable than the Motion because the Motion shoe tilts slightly forward and not as comfortable in the toe if hiking around ..mind you most would never hike in Converse nor should I! haha
hiking in the motions must be like an extra workout lol!

I never find it as comfy as other trainers, but I think maybe if I size up 0.5 it might work as I am really really in love with the look of the star motion

Just ordered the run star motions from the converse website, also used a discount code which brought the price down even more!Real bargain!I liked the run star hikes when they came out but then kinda forgot about them.So glad I did as prefer these much more!:) Never owned a pair of converse before so am really pleased as I feel I have now ordered the very best they have to offer and have bought the ULTIMATE converse sneaker! Cant wait till they arrive,so excited!

I didn't end up keeping them as I already have the run star hikes and they a bit similar but thinking about getting the motions in the low top version!!!
Hi Olivia I hadn't heard of the low top version of the run star motions but just had an email from converse this morning telling me about them and they're available to order now.
Yes I think they would suit you as the low tops are more you,also they will be the correct balance of being different enough from your run star hikes:)

Hello! My true to size is a 5.5 in grade school/men’s, I’m getting some Chuck 70’s soon and was wondering if I should size down a half size to a 5 or get a 5.5
I think the Run Star Motion are true to size because the Run Star Hike are true to size according to Converse's website

Are the front of the shoes wider than standard converse? (Sorry I don’t know much about shoes lol) I have wide feet, and the normal style are fairly thin so are a bit uncomfortable
They are! I have wide feet too and just bought a pair. To me, compared to the standard ones, the motions are so much comfortable, it has plenty of extra space in the finger area. The hikes are like that as well

I wear a size 7 (womens) in the lugged platform shoes and a size 7.5 in the converse platform shoes. I tried on my little sisters run star hikes (7 in womens). They fit but I had a tiny bit of space. Should I get a 7.5 in the run star motions???
Yeah a 7.5 sounds like it would be good fit, for sizing they are the same as the run stars so if the run stars a little bit small would recommend getting 0.5 bigger

I work at a hospital, I haven’t worn anything but chucks since 2014 and I’m not willing to switch shoes. What do y’all think? Are these too heavy, I work 12 hour shifts sometimes and I’m constantly walking.
Hey personally I probably wouldn’t want to wear these every day for long shifts compared to the normal ones they are heavier x

Unsure if to get the Converse Run Hike because I have so many of the Vans Stacked and they're very similar but might just get a pair. Great video. The Run Motion are a bit much for me though 😅😆 dunno if I could pull them off .

If the 7.5 size fits you perfectly and there is no extra wiggle room I think you would be better with a size 8. I think its better to have a bigger shoe than a shoe that is too small
