My favourite is the early 2000’s heritage classic. Those colours and the reserve tank is a nice feature.

I have had 2 heritages, 3 ultras, one road king, one sporty. My 2000 heritage softail is the BEST bike I've ever had. I love my heritage with 16" apes! I'm 6'4", of course, but the softail is a bike I can abs have spent 10 hour days in the saddle and no issues with riding the next day.

I own one and it is a great bike, the gas tank is a 5 not a 6 gallon though.

It's a 5 gallon tank. 6 would be nice though

    how tall are you?

How tall are you? Concerning the wind protection I’m 6’1 and wind protection is huge for me. Some air I’m fine but can’t stand the buffering.

I'm 6'3" and it felt good, better than my Street Glide if I'm honest as they suffer with an updraft without lower fairings but on the heritage it felt better with just a touch of wind on the top of the helmet but not an obscene amount. Could do 500 miles in a day on one without an issue.

    Yep..we b a salesman for H-D...brainwashed..." every H-D
.is the best bike I have ever ridden "
Wtf...some ride like a wooden wagon..some suck..some are good..all are way over priced...and the used bikes at all H-D ' s are way the hell over priced. I JUST LIKE MY ULTRA Classic..2018..it is a nice ride..just damn heavy...but a nice ride...and it is paid for...that makes it a " nicer" ride....

Not a Harley anymore. The company should change it's name. Shameful!

I take it you haven't got one then. I guess unless it's a Harley you approve of its not the real thing. I've had several and this is a Harley. Feels like one, sounds like one, gives me goosebumps like they all do. Each to their own, but why be scathing of someone else's ride?

@@grahambarker558 Dude if you like your bike, rock on. I have a 2017 Heritage and love it. I can hear my bluetooth speaker loud and clear now. And I am an old fuck now too. But, it's not a "Harley" to me. I have been riding Harleys for 30+ years. The last "Harley" I bought was my 2008 Heritage that had a Stage 2.. I don't know what these new ones are, they have the name "Harley" on them.. but they don't feel or sound like Harley's out of the box. If you have been riding Harley's for a while, you should understand what I am talking about. But I do enjoy a lower RPM at 80- 100 mph in 6th gear. And that little more horsepower is fine too But I miss the torque, sound, shake, fuck man, I don't need to explain it to you or anyone else who has ridden Harley's for a long time.. If I wanted a smooth, high horsepower ride, I would had bought a gold wing or bmw years ago. Relax. Enjoy your ride. You paid out the ass for it. But, it's not a "Harley". It is a re invented Harley. We will see if it stands the test of time. Hopefully mine will keep running for a long time because I ain't buying a new one.
