This was the BEST tutorial I have ever seen on any subject. I didn’t get bored and didn’t want it to end! I learned so much and wish that this format was available to me on so many matters and questions in life. Thank you so much, and God Bless. Truly, we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. 🙏🏼💛
These tutorial are incredible. There´s nothing better out there. Please continue doing those, it saves so many hours, where you try to learn it from books or pictures.
You have a special quality in delivering your material with clarity and the animatioin is great to watch. We always need to revise our knowledge of anatomy and being a massage therapist, it is great to refresh my A&P. Thank you!
I learn best in 3-D. These videos are really hammering home all these info gathered from struggling to understand human anatomy in 2-D images from textbooks. Thanks from a medical student.
too limited, it did no mention the name of the muscles like the external rotators , also did not mention the name of the bones that form the pelvis, etc
This video super good and useful. No fluff and all clear and concise. Thanks for making it available. Think my search for the best hip anatomy video is done.
I'm with Brian Smith. If you have the capacity, please make more videos. You have a rare ability to communicate these intricate complexities in an engaging manner.
I'm adding my thanks to all the other ones here. I really like how you apply the information with practical injuries that happen. It enlivens the teaching.
I've never understood the anatomical reasons for pain in my hip, bum and leg, or found skeleton models helpful. But this along with other 3d anatomy videos really helps me appreciate the different parts causing pain, how I'm causing it and hopeful how to resolve it.
hey ,if anyone else wants to discover exercises for stiff hips joints try Trefendous Pain Relief Tips (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my co-worker got great results with it.
Great video. For a complex subject, you did a great job of "unpacking" a lot of information in a short video. Have you categorized the anatomy videos so others can watch them all in one place?
What a clear explanation! I've tried for a while to visualize and understand my hip anatomy. I hope you have a foot and ankle one. And can you help me to understand arthritis? I cannot truly grasp what it is, how it's diagnosed, and how to support my body's healing. Thank you so much for your help!
Great video. The human body is amazing. The more I learn about it, the more the theory of evolution gets thrown out the window for me. I'm convinced it is of intelligent design.
Thank you. I found this video to extremely informative. The explanations were great. The graphics fantastic. Helped me to understand the balance of the muscles funtion as they work together.
It is really good 👍 to follow and understand even for a person like me who is not from medical field. Not sure if u have videos on how to keep joints healthy and recover in case of injury. If no, then would request to make such videos with graphics as in this video Thanks a ton. Namaste 🙏
Could you do a video explaining what hips look like when doing kicks? I'm thinking specifically martial arts and roundhouse kicks. I keep hearing about "turning my hip over" but dont know what hips look like when kicking.
Very helpful, thank you. My hips are uneven from skating and I'm trying to understand the structure since I don't have much sensation in my hips (I have heard this is common for women of child bearing age).
S I Joint and... femoral head/acetabulum equals misery, this video gives a great view of the skeletal structure and helps me understand where my pain is coming from,.... thanks!!!
I'd love to see similar video but for female pelvis! Are there muscles connected the same, because pelvic bones, joints and angles are all different from male one on video.
I think each of the muscle insertions and connections would be the same, just at different spots depending on where each of those landmarks is on the female pelvis.
Doc....a question please...and I realized 'this answer can't be substantiated s/palpation, differential Dx. When one lays in a supine position, with both knees flexed; what most likely would cause a 'non-painful' popping to one leg or the another, with subsequent relaxation of either fully flexed hip to a totally/or nearly horizontal position - perhaps less than 5-10 degrees in remaining hip flexion? In my case...there is no ongoing pain, no need for NSAID'S, etc. Just a "popping", each time (in my case), that/when my R-leg is moved from a total hip flexion to a horizontal/relaxed state? I don't have any trochanteric or palpatable pain, or of walking up/down steps... Cheers, Frank
My problem is I injure my back to the left side of my hip bending in a deep freezer a long time ago and was exercising pull my leg to the back and feel my back pop and paining me ,and it still keep popping sometime when I bend to stand.I have been to doctor the first time and did a xray they say they didn't see any thing wrong ,and I must stop carry load ,but can I get some advice ,and the video shows me what I wanted to see.
I’ve had trochanteria bursitis few years ago, it’s terribly painful, I could not sleep at all, got better after a deep steroid injection, done under sedation.
This was the BEST tutorial I have ever seen on any subject. I didn’t get bored and didn’t want it to end! I learned so much and wish that this format was available to me on so many matters and questions in life. Thank you so much, and God Bless. Truly, we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. 🙏🏼💛

I think it’s fascinating. I had a hip replacement 7 weeks ago and I’m still watching all videos I can.
How did the hip replacement turn out? Are you walking normally or with a limp?
I've never understood the anatomical reasons for pain in my hip, bum and leg, or found skeleton models helpful. But this along with other 3d anatomy videos really helps me appreciate the different parts causing pain, how I'm causing it and hopeful how to resolve it.
