It really is amazing to learn how complex something like the shoulder joint is - we tend to take it for granted, and then realise it's true complexity when something goes wrong with it!

Yep, I'm here because of a fractured glenoid socket (3 years ago, now requiring more surgery). Just wanting an understanding of what's around the area. 100% spot on that comment haha.

Right now after the shot it’s not bad but I know it will wear off. The way my dr. Talked I can tell he is going to lean towards surgery

What 3D program are you using to show the skeleton? I have a shoulder injury where my clavicle bone is hammering into the acronym scapula. The doctor calls it arthritis, but the bone looks pinged over like the head of a brass hammer, that's been beat too much. That's shortening the clavicle bone and causing my shoulder to roll forward and bad posture. Which lead to shoulder impingement and frozen shoulder. What I need to do is lengthen the clavicle bone, to its original length, to put my shoulder back in good posture.

I had a problem with my shoulder bursa from a gymnastics injury. So painful it kept me awake at night. My coach told me to take cod liver oil (two tablespoons per day). Problem was completely resolved within a week. Also hanging from a bar will correct many shoulder issues.

I think it would be cool to get a human model, and draw the muscles and tendons on the skin of the model, with different colors of Sharpies. So we can see where those muscles are and where they attach. The different colors will represent the different muscles. And if you just make the outline then you can see the muscles underneath them. It would have to be a good artist and they would have to make the right locations.
