My 3 year old loves this video
smart kid.
will become a doctor :-)
who cares
You just wanna tell the world that your kid is a genius.
Are you a doctor duo parent?
It really is amazing to learn how complex something like the shoulder joint is - we tend to take it for granted, and then realise it's true complexity when something goes wrong with it!
This comment is perfect. I’m feeling that last sentence 1000000%
Yep, I'm here because of a fractured glenoid socket (3 years ago, now requiring more surgery). Just wanting an understanding of what's around the area. 100% spot on that comment haha.
So true!
this is great!
Kindly anyone let me know me free anatomy aap for Android phone and window compatible for laptop for teaching and learning purpose
I honestly find your videos the most helpful on the net and are sometimes better articulated than my profs at school. Thanks so much :)
!!!.
You have a bed time radio voice. It's 7am and I'm ready to go back to sleep lol
who is watching this bcoz of having shoulder enjury@@@@genius
your comment is all the thanks I need - just great to hear that they are interesting/useful for people!:)
Thats really helpful, it think its enough content if i have to answer a long question of glenohumeral joint
I wish I had this video available when I was in P.T. school in the 70's!
How fortunate for students to have these tutorials! 20 years ago we had to dissect cats to "see" the same information provided in these vids for our A&P Labs.
Are you a doctor now? Please I need your help. I have a question on Anatomy. PLEASE! Thank you.
CAT DISSECTION? I HATE THE WORLD.
Wow, technology is amazing
ole
@@babyandcatty Imagine without cat dissection at the moment hahaha, thank god they did that.
Your videos are generally good....but it was just a waste of time....
What about supports for joint capsule...
What about role of long head of triceps brachii......
What about secondary socket.......
What about dislocation......
What about damages after dislocation and much more .......
😒
these tutorials have been a great assistance for me in reviewing the basics for my cadaver doctoral level anatomy course. It's tough to find good and sufficiently detailed resources for anatomy outside of the textbooks and atlases, thanks for this!
wow man, made my life...
nice one, subscribed...keep'em comin...
Thank you.the video sooooo good
Now I can converse with my doctor about my shoulder problem. Thank you for your time and effort producing this video.
This video would've been completed if there was its arterial supply and innervation too.
very insgihtful, i am finding the root cause of my friends shoulder injury
Is this Matty Healy teaching me shoulder joint anatomy
your tutorials are awesome. don't know how to thank you but you have truly opened my eyes/mind up to how marvelously intracate the human body is. nothing but kudos my friend.
Just 10 more views to get to 1M??. Ima get that for you rn
PS: i did it
Your videos are helping me through PA school. This video very nicely explains every compartment of the shoulder. Thank you so much
Great free presentation but could clearly should have been excellent, a whole muscle (subscapularis at that!) missing - wow. Had to go elsewhere to see a 3D of this. Oh well, because of the error I shall not forget so no harm done.
You are so much more informative than my teachers. Thanks a lot!!
I am so happy I found your videos, I fill hopeful now!! They are so clear concise, I am just really excited now to see them all. I can not thank you enough!!!!
Blood supply: anterior circumflex humeral vessels
Posterior circumflex humeral vessels
Suprascapular vessels
Subscapular nerves

Axillary n
Suprascapular n
I wish you could just keep talking about this video, great explanations, easy to follow.!
Can’t thank u enough, especially for the lining ligaments n membranes.
Hello, I loved the video- but I have a comment on the video regarding the ligaments- you haven't mentioned the coraco-clavicular ligaments and the coraco-acromial ligament
They're not part of the glenohumeral joint
They’re part of acromiclavicular joint

Thank you so much for this video... This is such an easy way to understand and clear our concepts ...
Loving your tutorials. They are simple and concise, better than some anatomy lecturers. What did you study at university may I ask, assuming you went.
best video ever about shoulder joint, this is pretty hard topic to learn but you explained it perfectly
HELLO I LIKE THE VIDEO THE VIDEO IS SO HELPING FOR THE STUDY OF ANATOMY I ALSO FOUND MORE VIDEOS THAT ARE USE FULL TO THE STUDY OF ANATOMY YOU CAN STUDY MORE FROM THE GOOGLE
Thanks. Been wathing this videos to find where my pain comes from but also since its always fun to learn new things and your videos are great.
I lost my long head bicep 9 years ago. I have arthritis in all my joints but that shoulder joint is bad. I am in therapy after a cortisone shot. At my age I may not choose shoulder replacement. Right now after the shot it’s not bad but I know it will wear off. The way my dr. Talked I can tell he is going to lean towards surgery
So the muscles which give stability to the g.h joint are pectoralis major and teres major (not the minor,!)؟
awesome video... but rotator cuff inclusion would have made this the best informative vid on shoulder
I.ve had afall an now i.min pain my r t shoulder in troble i.cNt raise my shoulder up
such a huge help since self-study from old books and notes doesn't work for me now. thanks! btw, do you have the new video about the shoulder joint next to this?
This is the best channel for anatomy!!!! Very helpful💕💯

Do we have any video on knee joint ... Please send the link I haven't got on channel

Thanks 🙏🏻
Excellent ....my daughter xray shows Humerous fracture. You have really explained it clearly.....Can she recover WITHOUT surgery.?? She had a bike accident (the brakes problem) last year early March..I'm search for her recovery. A Concern mother from Nauru....so far your video has been great.. amazing and 11:38 eye opening...thank you much more than I can type here.
Best tutorial on shoulder joint so far ! Excellent pace of and detailed diagrams , you are doing great
Great lecture and visuals. I’m in poor man’s medical school taking a Coursera anatomy course...taught by Dr Kathleen Alsup, PhD, who teaches anatomy at the University of Michigan
What 3D program are you using to show the skeleton? I have a shoulder injury where my clavicle bone is hammering into the acronym scapula. The doctor calls it arthritis, but the bone looks pinged over like the head of a brass hammer, that's been beat too much. That's shortening the clavicle bone and causing my shoulder to roll forward and bad posture. Which lead to shoulder impingement and frozen shoulder. What I need to do is lengthen the clavicle bone, to its original length, to put my shoulder back in good posture.
I had a problem with my shoulder bursa from a gymnastics injury. So painful it kept me awake at night. My coach told me to take cod liver oil (two tablespoons per day). Problem was completely resolved within a week. Also hanging from a bar will correct many shoulder issues.
Your video let me finally understood what kind of problem I have on my shoulder. Do you know what I can do if legaments get inflamed and the pain is so hard you cannot even sleep on the side? Thank you for this video.
Help me
I m from Bangladesh.I dislocated my shoulder 2 month ago but now i can't move my shoulder in Abduction process..what should i do now..plz tell me
Excellent demonstration . Now I know the shoulder anatomy much better. Thank you.
at the end of the clip the black subtitle background prevents and prevents the arrow from being visible. The arrow pointing and explaining - the one who made the video should have kept that in mind.....
What is the app u are using to demonstrate this video ?
great summary at the end. Love the visuals. Thanks from Western Canada :)
I think it would be cool to get a human model, and draw the muscles and tendons on the skin of the model, with different colors of Sharpies. So we can see where those muscles are and where they attach. The different colors will represent the different muscles. And if you just make the outline then you can see the muscles underneath them. It would have to be a good artist and they would have to make the right locations.
Subacromial OR subdeltoid bursa
a bursa underneath the coracoid process
and another one on top of the acromion
Really well explained...but the location of the subtendinous bursa still confuses me.Awesome video regrdless.
Subtendinous is under the tendon of subscapularis which is attached to the lesser tubercle
Posterior of the humerus head there are
no ligaments connecting with the scapula? Only in front?
All I need to do is speak about my shoulder pain near my phone while not using and the beast sends me various videos like this.
Good video,
Shoulder joint and Proximal Humerus Anatomy , Anatomy of the Arm and Forearm , Parotid Gland Surgery
Chest Tube Insertion , Endotracheal Intubation Procedure
just got my MRI results and taking a few minutes to decifer the medical language... this was very helpful for to me to see how and where all my issues are. thanks!

Loved this 3 D anatomy. It would be really cool to see the muscle's shorten causing the humerus to move accordingly.
I'm glad more people are making free 3d Anatomy apps for people.

Fantastic overview of the shoulder. Very clear. Thank you! I hadn't realised that the bursae are protrusions of the synovial membrane.
Wish I would have seen these videos while I was taking Principles of Animal Biology....very interesting and very understandable!

Knowledge is power. As a long time sufferer of left shoulder pain -- I am happy that you have confirmed how complicated the shoulder joint really is! This video gives me strength to continue to perform my range-of-motion shoulder exercises because trying to isolate parts of the shoulder is impossible. Thanks again.
first anatomy in med school looming and it's on the rotator cuff - many many thanks!
