It really is amazing to learn how complex something like the shoulder joint is - we tend to take it for granted, and then realise it's true complexity when something goes wrong with it!
This comment is perfect. I’m feeling that last sentence 1000000%
Yep, I'm here because of a fractured glenoid socket (3 years ago, now requiring more surgery). Just wanting an understanding of what's around the area. 100% spot on that comment haha.
So true!
I honestly find your videos the most helpful on the net and are sometimes better articulated than my profs at school. Thanks so much :)
!!!.
these tutorials have been a great assistance for me in reviewing the basics for my cadaver doctoral level anatomy course. It's tough to find good and sufficiently detailed resources for anatomy outside of the textbooks and atlases, thanks for this!
your comment is all the thanks I need - just great to hear that they are interesting/useful for people!:)
Thats really helpful, it think its enough content if i have to answer a long question of glenohumeral joint
Knowledge is power. As a long time sufferer of left shoulder pain -- I am happy that you have confirmed how complicated the shoulder joint really is! This video gives me strength to continue to perform my range-of-motion shoulder exercises because trying to isolate parts of the shoulder is impossible. Thanks again.
I wish I had this video available when I was in P.T. school in the 70's!
Now I can converse with my doctor about my shoulder problem. Thank you for your time and effort producing this video.
your tutorials are awesome. don't know how to thank you but you have truly opened my eyes/mind up to how marvelously intracate the human body is. nothing but kudos my friend.
How fortunate for students to have these tutorials! 20 years ago we had to dissect cats to "see" the same information provided in these vids for our A&P Labs.
Are you a doctor now? Please I need your help. I have a question on Anatomy. PLEASE! Thank you.
CAT DISSECTION? I HATE THE WORLD.
Wow, technology is amazing
ole
@@babyandcatty Imagine without cat dissection at the moment hahaha, thank god they did that.
You have a bed time radio voice. It's 7am and I'm ready to go back to sleep lol
Your videos are helping me through PA school. This video very nicely explains every compartment of the shoulder. Thank you so much
My 3 year old loves this video

I wish you could just keep talking about this video, great explanations, easy to follow.!
first anatomy in med school looming and it's on the rotator cuff - many many thanks!
Thanks your tutorial was really helpful, it's so much easier being able to see a 3D interactive model, it's difficult to conceptualize where things fit in with relation to one another. That's why this was so good.
Much appreciated.
Thank you so much for the tutorial. This helps the students to understand more clearly about the anatomy. I am preparing for the NPTE exam and your videos are helping me so much. Thank you.
All I need to do is speak about my shoulder pain near my phone while not using and the beast sends me various videos like this.
I'm taking a test on joint structure this afternoon and your video is very helpful! Thanks!
Thanks so much for helping me, I take the USMLE Step 1 exam in two weeks. I've learned a lot from your anatomy videos!
So you must have become a doctor by now.......

Thank you.the video sooooo good
Thank you so much for this video... This is such an easy way to understand and clear our concepts ...
I had a problem with my shoulder bursa from a gymnastics injury. So painful it kept me awake at night. My coach told me to take cod liver oil (two tablespoons per day). Problem was completely resolved within a week. Also hanging from a bar will correct many shoulder issues.
excellent vid. Far more interesting than my profs lectures
Just 10 more views to get to 1M??. Ima get that for you rn
PS: i did it
Can’t thank u enough, especially for the lining ligaments n membranes.
I have rotator cuff issues. This was Very helpful. Thanks.
I wish I discovered you during first year. Anyway, you made my orthopedics beautiful. I owe you 🙏🤗
Fantastic overview of the shoulder. Very clear. Thank you! I hadn't realised that the bursae are protrusions of the synovial membrane.
Brill video, just put 18mths of studying in to perspective. Wish i had discovered you sooner. Liked and subbed!
Loved this 3 D anatomy. It would be really cool to see the muscle's shorten causing the humerus to move accordingly.
so very helpful.......just made all the complexities really simple forme.......thanx a lot......

Loving your tutorials. They are simple and concise, better than some anatomy lecturers. What did you study at university may I ask, assuming you went.
Fantastic description!
That is an excellent video to review the GH joint!!
Needed this. Thanks
A fantastic video. The use of the 3D model with the 2D illustration was great. Thank you so much.
Your video let me finally understood what kind of problem I have on my shoulder. Do you know what I can do if legaments get inflamed and the pain is so hard you cannot even sleep on the side? Thank you for this video.
All of these have helped me in class so much! Really, THANK YOU!
A thorough,clear, concise tutorial beautifully presented👍👍
I'm glad more people are making free 3d Anatomy apps for people.
such a huge help since self-study from old books and notes doesn't work for me now. thanks! btw, do you have the new video about the shoulder joint next to this?
It really a very helpful video. thank you.

Excellent ....my daughter xray shows Humerous fracture. You have really explained it clearly.....Can she recover WITHOUT surgery.?? She had a bike accident (the brakes problem) last year early March..I'm search for her recovery. A Concern mother from Nauru....so far your video has been great.. amazing and 11:38 eye opening...thank you much more than I can type here.
A true Masterpiece thank you very much
I love these videos! They help so much!! Thank you!
I lost my long head bicep 9 years ago. I have arthritis in all my joints but that shoulder joint is bad. I am in therapy after a cortisone shot. At my age I may not choose shoulder replacement. Right now after the shot it’s not bad but I know it will wear off. The way my dr. Talked I can tell he is going to lean towards surgery
So clear, so didactic, thanks a lot!!!
good to see Grays pictures
This video would've been completed if there was its arterial supply and innervation too.
Excellent video, very informative.
+Tom Anderson
After watching this video i have known this body part very well. i loved it.
Great lecture and visuals. I’m in poor man’s medical school taking a Coursera anatomy course...taught by Dr Kathleen Alsup, PhD, who teaches anatomy at the University of Michigan
Thank you for this, you explain everything in such a way that it is easy to understand.
Nicely done.
excellent video
Thanks a lot for this great info.
Excellent video, highly appreciated!!!
fantastic video! thanks
Thanks, that was very clear.
Hello, I loved the video- but I have a comment on the video regarding the ligaments- you haven't mentioned the coraco-clavicular ligaments and the coraco-acromial ligament
They're not part of the glenohumeral joint
They’re part of acromiclavicular joint

at the end of the clip the black subtitle background prevents and prevents the arrow from being visible. The arrow pointing and explaining - the one who made the video should have kept that in mind.....
