I always smile hearing the SNCF Jingle play, I don't know what it is but I loved hearing it when I was there but I imagine the French probably hate it haha.
Generally, the French like this jingle coupled with the pleasant voice of Simone who makes the announcements. Moreover, this jingle was taken up by David Gilmour (pink Floyd) in his song Rattle that lock, after having heard it in the Aix en Provence train station (south of France). ua-cam.com/video/L1v7hXEQhsQ/v-deo.html
TGV Reseau😆 We have similar trains here in South Korea. Feels, sounds, and even smells similar :) felt like I'm back in my hometown in Korea when I was traveling around France by rail.
@@SimplyRailway It's largerly the same as the interior of Spanish AVE S100 prior to refurbishment. As time went by, most Reseau and Atlantique derivatives went through refurbishment, and while the French and the Spanish gave them a thorough makeover, the Koreans gave their trains just a slight changes like changing colour of the seats and floormats and replacing reading lights with LEDs :)
I always smile hearing the SNCF Jingle play I know this an open station during winter time it's freezing cold and their is not a imagine the France probably lot of closed waiting spacese.
I want to add something about the seats. You can change the position of the seat and the headrest. The handle to incline the seat is under the seat, and concerning the headrest, you have to pull on one side the wide one .
I enjoy your railway videos....Italy uses 3 kV DC mostly except some border railway stations, like Domodossola and Brenner which connect to Switzerland and Austria.Ventimiglia connects to France, and 25 kV AC is used.
Brenner has two systems. Italian 3kV = on the italian half (south) and 15kV 16,7 Hz (Austrian) on the north side. There‘s a short separation section in the middle.
We will be on holiday in France in a few weeks and we are looking forward to our first time on the TGV!! Going from Poitiers to Bordeaux. Very excited! Great videos. Subscribed
Nice report, I really like it that you're filming with an IPhone, because the sound is very good and you don't have to change something to make it perfect :)
7:45 is it legal to smoke in doors in france? In the uk in a train station or airport it is ilegal to smoke as it classed as indoors, even if it is open to the elements you still can’t smoke. Some people still do it though. Being British though everyone just gives the person smoking a stern look and shake their heads and mumble under their breath until hopefully the smoker get the hint and stops.
Another great video. Sad to see people with feet on seats, a dirty habit which happens a lot in the UK too. Get some new jeans yours have holes in lol. Take care and be safe.
It never ceases to amaze me how passengers crowd the doors to board and making it difficult for those to get off the train. Common sense (obviously lacking) would tell one to step aside so those getting off can do so safely and quickly. 🙄
I know right? I mean German customers complained about how the seats were hard, then they planned to change it. SNCF don't seem to care about that... This is literally the worst second class of the TGV's

My mom has it set as her ring tone :D
Simone...the sexiest public announcements I’ve heard on any form of public transportation.
@@Friek555 I want this ring tone!

Yep KTX 1 it's the same, the interior is different ?

Belgian power supply for most routes is 3 kV DC, and 25 kV AC on HSL Zuid tracks.

4515 is not able to operate in Italy.
The Paris-Milan service is operated by sets numerbered from 4501 to 4505, and all sets are in grey/blue livery
Pas besoin de prendre le RER depuis la gare pour aller au Terminal 1. Autant prendre le CDGVAL qui se situe juste à côté de la gare TGV/RER
Try the route Marseille to nice, you'll see the most beautiful scenary ever
I know, scenic route, I love it, I'll make a trip report on it
Im staying tuned :D
i agree, CDG terminal 1 has a very strange design, maybe it was the style during that period of time
I'll add that PHL has reginal rail service to the terminals as well.
Nice trip report. Please continue to make more. Will love to see regional trains too
Great video !!
These TGV Réseau go also on Italy.
Did you noticed that there was Boulogne Ville as a Dest. Your birthtown. Also in France or FS italy.
Excellent ! Thanks for sharing !!!!
I always like S. N. C. F. trains, I believe if T. G. V. can travel in Belgium under 3 Kv it can also travel in Italy
under 3 Kv and 25 Kv
Thanks for the video. Please do try to keep the camera steady with fluidic moves
Belgium also operates under 3kv
But that's for non high speed trains

Hi Johnny, no except in few stations it is illegal to smoke on platforms, but most french people love to trespass that kind of rules 😌
Nice video! Is the station for both kinds of trains (TGV and RER) at the same place? Do they (RER as well as TGV) use the same platforms?
At CDG airport, It's the same station, under the same hall, but whose RER platform is separate from the TGV part (2 stations in 1)
@@mygiwi5498 Ah ok! Thank you very much!
Nice

That partition at 6:39
Belgian trains run on 3KV / 25 KV
Nice, but Belgian wires are 3 kV and German are 15 kV
Belgian wires are also 25kv for high speed lines
Bonne voyages
Pour moi, de tous les TGV que j'ai pu prendre, celui-ci est le vraiment moins bien... (Je ne compte pas l'E320 comme un TGV) 😶

Why don't you try going to Spain?
It depend on my work shift, but at the end of may ill be in Spain so I'll review Spain train
@@SimplyRailway don't expect super trains hahah

The fly-in graphics suck.
I agree, they are very annoying.
Maybe its even better if you talk during your videos?
Nope! You gotta be quiet aboard to not disturb the peeps ;]
