Nothing against the Hennessey 650. It runs out really well. But the stock 6.2l V8 is a beast. I have an AT4 1500 with the 6.2l and GM performance exhaust. Not only does it run like a scalded ape, but surprisingly, I get slightly better than EPA mileage figures (GM cyl. deactivation works) and actually better than the 1st generation Ecoboost Ford V6 that it replaced. Also, its sound with the performance exhaust is amazing. I have the extended warranty, so I don't have any interest in modifications that may void it at this time.
It’s a cool video. We all knew the supercharged truck would be faster but honestly for most people, it’s a costly upgrade that really doesn’t add much utility to the truck. The 6.2 is a powerful engine stock. Most people don’t take their truck to the drag strip to race other trucks. It’s a great illustration of the product but few actually need it. I can imagine long term reliability is greatly compromised.
I was looking at these for my trucks and I have to agree. $14k+ all in is a lot of money for not a lot gained. Fuel economy is already bad enough on my 6.2
@@andyh8239 yeah this 600hp kit is nothing anymore especially with the equivalent f150 775 package they might as well not even show this plus with a name like Goliath I'm expecting 750-800 at least don't get me wrong with me 450 500 is more than enough but if they're claiming to be the best of the best put up some healthy power numbers that match the healthy price tag 🤷
Love this. Have a Whipple 2.9 on my 2014. They were backordered over 6 weeks for my 2020 so I did the 2650 Mag instead. Both trucks are a blast. I could never go back to stock! This is how they should be from GM.
@Amokof NO mods. Ran 9.16 1/8 on E bone stock 800 mi. After with 2.9 ran 8.256 @ 82.38 1.80 60' 4wd with whipple tune. HOWEVER in retrospect (didn't know) at LEAST do LT1 injectors since hpfp is the same. Better though LT4 hpfp and inj for E. I made 445 whp but timing needed to drop a bit so 434whp. Final at AMP in Tx. Never ran again. My 2020 6.2 cc with 2650 ran identical mph. Kinda disappointed. Going up 4 psi and tune in June so...
@@tedj432 very nice!!! I'm fixing to do long tube headers and a l86 intake with eng and trans tune. Thanks for the info. I will get that tuned out as well for now.🍻🍻🍻
About $30k for the AT4 upgrades which include more suspension retrofits. Honestly though Pax power has the hook up on meaningful off-road set ups. I’d stick with these guys for the street trucks
It's actually $27,000.... Unless you got money to burn it's not worth it. You're taking a $70,000 stock truck and basically turning into $100,000 vehicle.... At that point you might as well just buy a Vette.
I am surprised with power that stock AT4 , i thought the supercharger will pull way harder than that i think the supercharged sierra is putting no more than 500 to the wheel. Also it seems like a a one size tune that fit all this kit , very conservative tune! I have no doubt that TCM torque management is untouched. with a complete fine tuning that thing will be a monster
Is that crank hp or rwhp? Either way, you should do all of that work to a regular cab, short bed with the new at4 denali interior and put it up against a super snake and a trx! The 2 door Hennessey at4 Denali would look so much nicer than everything else on the market and, if it was faster, take my money. 👀
Swapping a Tesla motor in place of the front differential on 2023 Denali. Est min. +250 HP integrated to communicate with GM ECM PCM BCM.. should be more than a match for any GM ,Trx or Raptor R.. 📢
GM is too stupid to make a Hybrid that makes perfect sense that everyone in their right mind would want. Instead they go pure electric and you cant even tow a boat to the lake and back. Mary Bara is running GM into the ground.
Stock denali 6.2 with a 10spd goes good for a heavy truck never mind the other one

You don’t know speed …
Good luck with that AFM
Did you ever get a pulsar lt? That's where you can enjoy it stock
@@LoneWolfSnowplowingmanual mode no afm easy peasy. Warm truck up before you leave. Change fluids every 55%. Truck will last 450k miles.

I expected a much bigger gap I was surprised
Same. Looks more like a 420 -> 540 increase, not 650. Wake me up when the 1khp kit is out.

That was actually a huge gap when considering it was a 1/4 mile run. He had about 5-6 lengths on him. At the track, that is a massive difference.

Did you do a cam swap as well on the 2014 for the DOD/afm system?
@MrMartin10884 No sir just locked off in the Tune. 81k trouble free miles now.
I’m considering getting a 2.9 whipple for my 2014 too. How much power is yours making and did you do any other major mods to it?

Hey Hennessy.......

Now needa one up it all the way to 1,000hp like you do with all the others
@hennessey performance video says upgraded pushrods ?
Do you sell the pushrods? And the lifters are still stock ? Keeping the dfm ?
Thanks !!!
I WANT THE DENALI. ❤
Was traction control turned off?
I have the 2024 Silverado 2.7 four-cylinder and I max out at 98 mph.
😍😍😍😍 💪💪💪💪💪 one of my dreams. Hennessy is a badass performance brand. TEXAS STRONG!!!!
I need this in my life
The better race would have been the GMC supercharged versus a stock Raptor R or a ram TRX. 02-11-24

$20,000

Not very impressive at all, especially for the price
Prob spent $20k just to barely run a 13
Not impressed honestly,
Racing sports cars lol😂
With a 100 shot of nitrous i guarantee you that stock truck will murda that mf
I bet it would be close.
Lol 😂a stock f150 coyote will smoke both of them.
I wish you weren't so dumb the coyote motor puts out no torque and and does not launch
