I have the 2017 Denali with 6.2 and I've always been a Flowmaster guy....but. I had an 18" Magnaflow put on with dual exits, had the stupid flappers and resonators taken off and it's freaking awesome. Nice deep rumble on cold start, sounds great running through the gears and no drone on the highway! Everyone has a preference and this is my new one.

Flowmaster recommends a multi chamber 50 series muffler to get rid of the drone but I was worried that would be too quiet.

Why in the world would the guy with the silver Silverado go with headers, high-flow cats, and then bottleneck the exhaust with a Y-pipe into a single tailpipe? That defeats the purpose!
The last truck almost had it. Gotta get rid of the resonators. Don't waste money putting on an aftermarket muffler if you're going to leave them on. If you want to leave the resonators on, you might as well go without a muffer and save yourself $100.
You have to use green cat built in the hole system cost. 2000.00 but you gain hp you can calm it down with x pipes and resignaters and quads 4 tips sound and performance 😮
Which muffler for best deep tone and loud? Currently have a black widow venom 250 in my 2019 5.3L Silverado with flap cut out and resonator holes covered. Thinking about what to put in my 2020 6.2L. I like the tone of the venom 250, just wish it was a hair louder. You ever use this muffler?
Ive always thought the exhaust systems of cars were Cats -> resonators -> mufflers -> outside Resonators are for drone and mufflers would be for loudness. My 2016 Altima 3.5SR its a catback straight back and highway sucks. I shouldve kept my resonators for drone
Don't just consider sound, consider exhaust flow too. Chambered and baffled mufflers don't flow as well as straight-through mufflers. Dual exhaust flows better than single exhaust. Removing restrictions improves exhaust flow.
They do. I own a 16 LTZ with the 6.2 and 8 speed, it sounds like a helicopter with my true dual magnapaks until, I tuned it and got rid of the fuel management.
@@dylanpixley2767 whole system, right now it’s just the exhaust system on a 2021 at4. It has a deep throaty sound like the video and if you do anything to it delete resonators but keep everything else so it keeps it’s good sound

If your anywhere from north Ohio or lower Michigan or Indiana area diversified truck and auto is the best, my Chevy Colorado has all its work done there. But if not I can’t really help ya out except suggest a truck and auto upgrade shop.
Because some people like their trucks and roaring like a Muscle car? Lol Funny, because Dodge is rated the highest American make in reliability by Consumer Reports. I don't think if matters either way, you buy Big 3 for the bang for your buck value in performance and capability. You would be buying Toyota if you actually cared for quality.

I watched a couple of your videos and the content is great but the sound quality is being liked with all the highway noises. Not talking shit just a suggestion for better content. Id really like to be able to hear the exhaust clearly but I can't over the highway behind you
The best exhaust hands down is leave the two converters that are at the header, and do a single straight pipe all the way back. Cost me $150 and sounds better than every exhaust out there.
A local muffler shop deleted my cats, installed a Holley Flowmonster straight-through muffler (two 3" inlets and two 3" outlets), and two turndowns for $284. True dual exhaust for the win. Great exhaust flow and great sound.
So what this video says is all I sell is flowmaster, so im gonna just make videos of them saying they sound the best, and i will throw a borla on here as well because that was already on the truck...

Every single video that I have watched from this shop, they choke the exhaust on the 6.2 with 3" exhaust. They come from the factory with 3.5" exhaust. I'm guessing they don't have the equipment to bend 3.5" and just wing it. And we ain't gonna talk about how ugly their welds are.

I have a 2022 Silverado trail boss with 6.2l. I went with the super 10 and kept the resonators. It sounds perfect to me.
Got mines with the performance package. It’s perfect when you get on the gas but just the right amount of rumble when cruising.

A single 3” pipe can handle a ton of flow. Like 700hp. There’s no bottleneck in that truck

My 6.2 has 3 1/2” pipes I put a super 10 on it and it’s not what I expected I want it louder
3.5” dual exhaust is too big ... should have made the back half 2.5 “ and the front half 3” ... that’s where the snappiness comes from
