Younger Irish folk may not appreciate it but for a lot of Irish around the world in the 1980's and 1990's U2 were one of the only things we could be proud of. They put the country on the map again. A fantastic, fantastic group.

I WAS THERE! - Thanks SO MUCH for that U2..., 30 years after my first U2 show in Munich 1987
I was there in the pouring rain with my wife and my two sons. Really, enjoy the night. Miss them during the eighties. It all paid up with this Concert in Berlin. Never forget it. U2 is still very good.
I was there! About 60 meters from the stage. It realy was an epic night!! Amazing feelings through the whole concert. Once in a life time!

I was in Berlin in 2017, in Dublin too.
I wanted in 1987/1988 but, too young, too much...
I was, fortunately, in Zoo TV tour, with 17, i fought with my parents to go to a concert, i live in Canary Island and the concert was in Madrid...
- What? Are you crazy, are you telling us that you are going to Madrid alone just for a concert? Alone?
- Yes, and i am going to do it. I understand you parents, but it is now or never. I need it.
Even Ramones were the opening band, two for the price of one!!
Finally i was in that concert.
Now i got a nephew, 8 years old, too young, i know. But i think every day, i wish, that u2 tour again with Achtung/Zooropa (30th anniversary) and go, again, with my nephew. It will be that, or never. There is no "one more chance" as in "Even better than..." xDD
That night in 1993, i will keep it forever in my heart, and it was one of the best decision i took in my life.
