One of the best explanations on the internet on how to set your lever-drag reel! Also: wish I'd seen this before I bought some garbage, overpriced Rapalla spring scales 😂
i just got a new Penn squall and this explained everything because i had no no idea and if you could would you please make a vid on jhow to cast an overhead rod and reel because I've tried to cast my ne one and i instantly got a ton of backlash. thanks
Question? What would the best setting using 50 lb test braid with top shot of 50 lb mono on rods used for trolling planers? Mine see mt creep quickly using a size 4 or larger planer?
I’d set it at 15-17lbs what we run most on our 30,50 class reels then fight them from 22-30lbs depending on the angler. Some can only deal with the 17lb drag fighting a fish. Good luck
Wow just bought 2 used Penn 20T and finally understood the strike button and lever…excellent!
Thank you! I just bought 2 new Penn Squalls and had no idea how to set this. Simple and informative...I'm subscribed now!
