What is bonus footage- 120 fp slow motion?
Slow motion was good. Never can go wrong with purchasing a Cannon. We have the older version of the EOS the M50 which has its limitations but like you said for the average content producer it works just fine. Congrats on the big purchase by the way. Great investment.

how do you change the speed and frames in slo mo mine is set too only 1920x1080 119.9f this is confusing i see all this 4k and diffrent rates and mine is just in one spot.
You have to turn the 120 frame rate off and when you are in the original frame rate settings you could set it for 4K 60 but for the 120 FPS it only records 1080p

Hello jeremiah 😊😊😊 how do you slow motion do you just recrod a normal video than choose the slow motion buttom on the video right ?
Typically I put it 120fps for very slow video and it records it in slow motion directly to the camera but it’s only 1080 P And no sound or use 60fps to record a normal video then slow it down by half in editing.

Looks good! I wanted to see the difference between 60p and 120p slow mo, and 120 definitely seems like a more cinematic effect.
I agree 120p is more cinematic but can only be done in 1080p so lower quality but in my opinion still looks good.
@@JeremiahMcintosh true. I don’t shoot 4K yet because I can’t afford the space it takes up, but I can see how that would be annoying.
Wow the 4K looks great, the 1080 is unusable with lower light shots
You can definitely slow 4k a lot more in daVinci. I’m currently using 5dmkiv and can get smooth slow-mo (50%) using their optical flow. It honestly doesn’t look bad. So i can only imagine how much better that would look using 60fps. Great video, thank you so much

There’s no sound in slow motion 120fps, only in 60fps
Does it record slowmotion in camera?
Yes it slows it down to 120fps 1080p but saves to camera as a 29.97 file with no sound. Or you can record 60fps with sound.

4k 60 looks amazing but 1080 120 looks a bit too soft in comparison IMO

I haven’t overheated yet with the way I use it. I did a test and recorded 4K 60fps for 28 min from a cold start and then it overheated but I normally don’t record like that. I’m on firmware 1.1.0

Lol thanks for your input. I agree that iPhones hold their on when the light it’s good however the R6 kills it in many different ways this it was just one test. Being able to zoom and shoot 20 frames per second is one big killing point Not to mention the shallow depth of field that you can get with it and there are many more but this is just to name a few.
Moving on to big boy cameras! Congrats! That's the first step to upgrading production quality. But I suggest editing on something more powerful than an iPad. :D
Thanks I upgraded from the 70D! However I disagree on editing power because the iPad Pro is a beast at rendering 4K videos. Much faster than most pc’s. Also I don’t have to create proxy files to edit the footage.
