- I did the 5 best Marriott Properties in Orlando near Disney in 7 nights! This is Orlando hotel 5 of 5: The Ritz Carlton Orlando Grand Lakes. Only about 20 minute drive away from Disney World parks. This Orlando luxury hotel is one of Orlando’s most expensive and luxurious hotels, but is the Ritz Carlton Orlando worth it?

Pros:
-Newly renovated
-Shared pool, lazy river, and water slides with JW Marriott Orlando Grand Lakes
-Rooms have balconies
-Has a golf course
Cons:
- Parking ($50 Valet only per night)
-AND $48 resort fee per night
Pricing:
The average nightly price for a standard room is usually about $550-$750 Sometimes over $1,000!!
The average number of Marriott Bonvoy points required per night: 52,000- 74,000
I recommend using points to stay at this property as the value is close if not above a penny a point.

To anyone thinking about it, just do it. They upgraded our basic room for no other reason than just being exceptional. 9th floor overlooking the lakes. The smell throughout the hotel is so good, we are going to order the ritz carlton difuser and oils. We paid for a 500 dollar a night room, but stayed in a 1000 per night room. It is strange thoufh as we are staying on the same floor Bob Saget died on. 😢

Only if you book a package that includes breakfast. Otherwise everyone has to pay even Elite members at all Ritz Carlton’s.

Not worth for $800
I would recommend the JW Marriott Grand Lakes as a better value as still get access to both pools. The service though at this Ritz Carlton was very good and nice modern rooms.
@@gogotravelwithjosh I had really good service from Ritz Half Moon Bay. The door man actually opened doors for us and greeted me with my name. The Ritz Central Park disappointed me. The door man there were just chatting and not care about guests. They only greet ppl with well dressed suite who get off from expensive cars. So the service of Ritz varies among each location.
Happy to hear that you had a good experience at half moon bay Ritz! Service in US is just generally lower than international. The worst Ritz I’ve ever stayed at was in South Beach Florida. No upgrade, and manager was very rude. your right, that service definitely varies from each location.
@@gogotravelwithjosh I often felt the US hotels even look older than my home so what the heck I am paying for $500 + to stay there where I might just stay home for luxury decorations 😂
I want to see a Marriott hotel to have B&O speakers or TV so I might want to go and experience. Bose speakers are so out dated.
