Is this really one of the best hotels in the world? You say it for every review and it detracts from your reviews as there’s no light and shade. Rather everything is the best in the world.

Definitely a bucket list trip, I actually went and wrote this down with an affirmation that I WILL GO THERE, my husband just passed away from cancer on Christmas and I'm in a new season of my life and travel is definitely a priority, just got to plant my money tree 🌳 and I'm good to go 😂

this is no way the room score to be 4.5.......... it have to be 5 in every way....... you even give LA JW 5 score. nice video and extraordinary explanation but the standard is toooooo wacky.

It does not even have a tub... the room score should be 3. I agree that the room is nice. if it has tub it would be perfect.. but without it....... too Medicare, no way to be a luxury brand

the bathroom is way more spectacular than the bedroom. And i actually like the shower set up with the pinkish tone! Thumbs up to the interior designer!

Can you get upgraded from 1 bedroom booking to a 2 or 3 bedroom villa with nightly upgrade rewards?

I was in Osaka recently and stayed at the APA Hotel near Dotonbori and it was adequate. This W Hotel is a bit of a step up for sure.

The Marriott is the bottom tier of luxury when it comes to Mara resorts except you pay for the logo and nothing more 😂😂😂😂

I don't understand why all these luxury hotels do not look like you are in Italy. They are all generic modern style and you could easily be staying in LA, chicago or miami. Just for fun, rent "The Talented Mr, Ripley" and look at the hotel he stays in when he has money.

Great video. Like so many Marriott properties, the gym is meager. (Same as the Joseph in Columbus, OH).

It seems you dont stay in realy good Hotel . Like in China the Wanda Vista and Hong Kong is not the best Place for good Hotels, i live there and there is nothing good in HK

So many classic movies filmed there! Including 'Interstellar'. I stayed here as a kid a few times on family vacations and loved exploring the massive lobby and wandering the halls. If they remodel it someday, I hope they embrace the brutalist architecture and give it the original aesthetic when it was built!

Fun fact about the hotel. In 2013 Orbán and the mayor were riding on a bus on the front of the hotel and they had a discussion: The mayor told Orbán: “it is in the hand of Portuguese investors and we want to get it”. Mum and dad visited Masai Mare a few times and the stories they told us boys was amazing. We talking about more than 30 years ago, before commercial tourism... They loved every second of every tour they went on... So i want to visit this place but can tell you right now Desember 27 2024 its not easy to get accomidation... They loved Kenya

Uhhh… looks like a rather cheap fake luxury for russians, emirates guys, and other guys with not that sophisticated taste… the building itself is gorgeous indeed!

As a hotel General Manager myself, I've come to rely on videos such as yours to help guide me in my decision making when I'm choosing my hotel for my own vacation needs. These videos are more reliable, in my opinion, than online written reviews. Thank you for posting this. I usually toggle between Fort Lauderdale and Miami when I'm in south Florida and this video helps me. I love watching these videos as they are quite helpful!
