You were saying to hit you up with questions, here's one: got a 6.4 with 6 speed, was looking at the whipple, but I think I would rather make it into 426 stroker first, keeping the block and replacing all internals, then down the road twin turboing it. I still don't totally know what Mopar is.lol! I've been YouTubing about the vehicle this week, just to gain a better understanding of what my car can do, and offer. I bought the car because, it looked and road Great. It's Gunmetal Gray, with the 20" 5 Star Alloy Wheel. An older SRT Charger pulled up next to me at a red light the 2nd day of owning the car. I have a dodge durango with a 3.6 pentastar i am researching superchargers and i am interested in the ripp supercharger i wish i could find out how they are in a Canadian winter
Hey D-DOT-FORD, I am so frustrated still doing research on supercharging the V6 AWD charger. I have left comments on other youtubers who have done ripp supercharging already and knowledgeable enough, but just never got an answer back, maybe too many comments, lol.. One of my concerns is if I need to upgrade the other parts on my car after supercharging it. I know Ripp says no need at all, but after I did some research, all are pointing at "Yes, have to upgrade to support the extra pressure boost added on the engine". I could invest the money in a V8, but since I live in Canada and AWD is kind of necessary, and I don't race my car, just want the extra power to play around with driving daily, reliability and longevity of the "Supercharged V6 engine with stock parts" is my biggest concern. So after watching your video, I suppose if my car gets a proper tuning after the installation of the kit, it will not be a problem in the long term? Can you please help with the question and give some advice, thank you!
That's awesome I'm looking for the same thing want to make sure my car is ready for the supercharger. Being in Canada I cant seem to find one out here.
