RIP Chris Cornell. Just one of the Seattle bands that lost a member. Chris, Kurt Cobain from Nirvana, Layne Staley from Alice in Chains, Andrew Wood from Mother Love Bone, Mia Zapata from The Gits. The late 80s to 2000s could be a painful time to be a fan of Seattle music but still listening to the albums keeps them alive. I would definitely give Temple of the Dog a listen to. It was put together by Chris Cornell and members of Pearl Jam, in honor of Andrew Wood. He and Chris had been roommates until he passed away from an overdose. The most popular song from Temple is Hunger Strike but that whole album is amazing. Say Hello 2 Heaven is also an amazing song. If you want more Soundgarden, I would love to see you react to Jesus Christ Pose or Outshined, two songs from the album before Superunknown and they're much more early 90s grunge.
Guitar effect, Wah pedal, or Whammy pedal. The Whammy pedal can be manipulated quite a bit more than a wah. 90's and early 2000's definitely had some great rock music. By today's standard, we were spoiled.
