He is not doing this, and clearly nopt respecting the first tip. Always saying "this champ is shit" "This champ is free win" etc. Evry champ can perform when mastered.
Hey guys, I really recommend some of you check out Heizman, the guy has a great mindset and has grown from his series from being a diamond 5 player to a slowly climbing diamond 4 but he's very realistic with his mistakes.
Any assassin fed would do that, even non assassins when they are fed enough, the assassin reworks probaly gonna fuck up league for some months just like other reworks such as last years juggernauts
Do you all have a meeting for "what video we're all making this week"? You, Brofreso, Phylol, Pawnce.. all make the same exact videos every week.. like it's planned.
its no planned they copy paste each other. youtube is a place of talentless people with no iniciative why bother thinking about what im gonna record this week if i can just lool what redmercy did today.
This video actually helped a lot. I'm in a low rank atm and really want to climb out, but I never can. The thing is, when people say "look at your weaknesses", I don't really know how to find them. Sometimes I do when I see that I fucked up my flash, or fucked over my team in a team fight. I usually stick to one champion (Shaco, although he really isn't that good), and I try to climb with him.
a great tip for EUWEST server players: if you see someone talking french in champ select IMMEDIATELY leave. 99% of french players are toxic garbage and if you spot one you should really, really dodge to save LP even if you get a time penalty for the next queue.
It doesn't matter if the enemy team has 1000 kills . If u stall the game to the point that gold lead doesnt matter you can easily win the game . It totally depends on the team comp and punishing your enemy team for making mistakes. Any game is winnable provided everyone in your team is playing sincerely even if they fked up during the early game. For eg: Watch the CLG vs RNG game in MSI or the CLG vs TL game in LCS. Not a clg fan btw but they are one of the teams who can come back from huge deficits. If u watch streamers like dyrus or Dom or cowsep or trick2g you will get my point :)
Well Arcsecond is also not the youtube personality in the video and also not the owner of the youtube channel this video will be on. He probably prepared his script because he may not be as comfortable in the setting.
i mean i feel like he isnt in the video, nothing to state HEY THIS IS ME ARCSECOND AND IM JOINING REDMERCY HERE ON THESE TIPS, or stuff like that, for all we know this could be stolen off proguides or something.
Actually that's how he always speaks ; I've watched his stream a couple of times when he was doing unranked to chall on his 2nd smurf and that's literally how he always speaks. Same with his yt videos. It's just pure knowledge, no bs. If you have ever watched a "tips" video, depending on the youtuber some drag it out to 5mins for 10 tips, some drag it to 10mins ; Arcs 10 tips vid is 2mins and a half. That's because you're there for the knowledge not other bullshit.
i don't have anything else to say only (Thank you Very Much) for the huge tips .. your tips makes me realize a lot of things to fix and adjust .. your profile and your videos are a treasure ... keep it up brother and be safe and god bless you 😊
try playing in PH Server you will learn that TIP# 3 is the problem..even if you have a good game play but your team are fertilizer for the enemy team even if you destroy your enemy laner they will surely catch up because of your team.
my favourite tip was the fifth one. never surrendering. personally I kinda wish riot would remove the option to Surrender from ranked games and improve on the remake option we now have.
In my opinion, all league educational content doesnt help you climb. If you learned most of the things you can learn here on youtube, it will only help you 1/100 times... Its mostly about luck, and with luck i mean: lucky team mates, getting matched up with good team mates, find someone to q with, and the gameplay of league of legends is generally about luck. I would say that luck is 2/3 of LoL. And this OF COURSE comes from someone that is generally unlucky...
and meta champs, as a naturally not skilled person(im bad at everything) playing op champs helped me climbed to plat( If im naturally smart, skilled, i would be master)
Whats up Redmercy, Diamond4 player here. I rarely ever watch your "advice" videos, but I love your masters series. The only reason I watched this one is Arcsecond. Best click bait ever.
you can usually find a main in 2 ways: 1. find a champ you really like to play or which gameplay is really enjoyable for you 2. find a champ you perform really well with the optimal solution would be, if you find a champion both points apply to, but for the beginning just to go for one point is pretty good. If you often play a specific champ you really like, you will become better and understand the gameplay of that champ even further with every game. If you play a champ you perform well with, maybe you like the champ more with every game you play
Or you can be like me and literally choose a main out of pure visuals lol, I fucking loved dinosaurs, dragons and anything reptilian when I was a kid so when I saw Renekton I instantly wanted to play him
What's your favorite champions for each role? Top: Vladimir - Jungle: kindred - Mid: Swain - Attack Damage Carry: Vayne - Support: Nami (these are mine)
I sometimes surrender when behind if I have toxic teammates. They don't deserve to be carried to victory, and I'd rather just get into a fresh new game than be tortured by their presence.
Hello, I'm a Silver 4 and i main Tryndamere! I've been stuck in silver for a few months i would say, started since january 2015. But cant seem to fix my issue of not ranking up! taking this tips very well Redmercy hope they will work! Thanks
Seems like I'm always less than 20 minutes early. I am obsessed with you Red, and i like your voice (no homo) but omg I really love watching your videos and I'm excited to see your next videos!
I don't quite agree on 2 points : - a champion pool that covers your main's weaknesses is better than being a total one trick pony and being forced into horrible match ups that will only make you want to give up - making risky plays, with the correct mindset off course, is one of the things that has the most potential of teaching you the possibilities you have in the many situations the game offers you. (champion, equipment, match up, team behaviour, positioning, cooldown, current HP, etc.)
I agree with all of those except for never surrendering. If 3 people on your team have already given up, you should vote yes. There's no point in continuing a losing game if 3 people on your team want to leave. Forcing them to stay will only make them play even worse, you're better off moving on to the next game.
the 1st tip really fcks me up... i like playing all champs, but i guess thats why i cant climb that well anymore.... i used to play only 3 4 champs, mainly Zed, Darius, Yi, Blitz, And Urgot.(yess urgot is my main adc, hes my secret weapon) but this has been a wakeup call.
Tip #5 - Never Surrender: Yes i do this always but funny thing...4/1 for surrender. And our game wasn't even lost the enemy was just "A BIT" ahead because we throwed a bit.
Surrendering is often the best possible outcome to stop tilt and remove urself from a bad environment and to focus on the next game witout spending all that previous time slowly bleeded out. Imo more can be learned from a new fresh game and a clear mind then one that has u muddled and tilted not thinking clearly. U can only learn from ur mistakes up to a certaint limit until ur blinded by frustration.
although this is true in some situations there are a lot more where the best thing is to keep playing, you cant really excuse every surrender vote with that argument
Minoru Mas I agree there are plenty of winnable games, and to ff @ 20 is often a mistake. But when u and ur team reach that point of no return mentally in the game, ur just slowly bleeding out and getting frustrated thus why I shared my thoughts.
I understand your position, however tip 5 works if you follow the others. Such as the step about focusing on you. If youre focused on the game and yourself rather than your team its much easier to keep tilt off and stay focused in the game
I have never played ranked simply because I don't know what lane to choose. I have champions that I enjoy so much in every lane. My favorite champion is Twisted Fate, but I hate playing against most of the mid lane champions, I like Gangplank/Nasus for top but I don't like facing bruisers/tanks, I like Wukong/Rengar in jungle but I get bored of jungling after a few games, I have a ton a champs for support but I don't trust others to carry... and the only lane that I perform well basically every game and I enjoy playing most of the champs in that role is ADC. I feel like the answer is so simple that I should just do ADC, but I don't know.
How do you actually improve on things like map awareness? I know I need to work better at it and decision making deeply but yet I dunno how other than "play more" or "git gud"
Just won a bronze game when we have no towers on them and we had an open nexus. I wanted to surrender but I didn't thanks to this video! Thanks for the tips
I have just finished a game where my teammates( mid, jung and supp) kept chasing the enemy udyr across the map while the enemy team took down 3 inhibs at once and therefore costing us the game. Sometimes, no matter how hard you try to improve urself others will hold you back and tilt the shit out of you, and guess what: there is no tip to go around that.
If your Bot is 0-20 then their mid or top most likely has reflecting stats. Otherwise just don't tilt try your best to win that game; and whatever the outcome just try again in the next game. Maybe then their bot is 0-20. That was his ENTIRE point: CONSISTENCY! You won't win every game, nobody does. But keep going 50+% winrate and you will cilmb. Simple as that.
Most important question: What can an ADC main do when their top laners keep suiciding into the enemy champion out of pride or bloodthirst? Me winning lane being 2-0 with a 30cs lead is fantastic, but when my top laner is 0-4 without any enemy jungle presence it seems like everything that I've done, everything I've worked for on my side of the map has been thrown out the window due to the ego of someone who is blinded by their own overblown sense of self worth . Currently, anything below high gold/low plat seems like every game is a coin flip of who gets the worst feeder and therefore the loss.
Glad I watched this after being harassed by a teammate yesterday for only playing 4 champs in ranked. Thought I had to go out and try a whole new bunch of champs I don't even like playing.
Although i usually play with the mindset of "i have to focus on what i can do better, not my team" i don't really know what 2 think anymore, i have a 54% winrate on avarage with over 300 games and a 64% winrate over 75 games with Singed (yeah otp), and although these statistics are good every time i lose i feel like i was on a 10 lose streak, this is more on the ways of minds set, but still wanted 2 know if there was people that had the same problem as me and how they fixed/avoided this
Mehhh. Already doing most of this but still cant climb up, because of my Goddamn team feeding or flaming or most of the time they easily surrender or lose motivation to keep playing
Pants are dragon should be taking notes on this
true lol
true xD
Arcsecond is rank 1? pff ez pz for pants to get there..
he does all of this
He is not doing this, and clearly nopt respecting the first tip. Always saying "this champ is shit" "This champ is free win" etc. Evry champ can perform when mastered.
why don't you use these tips yourself
lol

Hey guys, I really recommend some of you check out Heizman, the guy has a great mindset and has grown from his series from being a diamond 5 player to a slowly climbing diamond 4 but he's very realistic with his mistakes.
From Diamond 5 to Diamond 4, what a long and hard journey !
Red's D3 journey was even longer.

3:15 "Is Diana getting any change with the Assassins Update?"
"We actually consider Diana as a Diver"
To be fair if you build anything full damage like that they'll probably one shot the adc. :P
Any assassin fed would do that, even non assassins when they are fed enough, the assassin reworks probaly gonna fuck up league for some months just like other reworks such as last years juggernauts
just wish she had an escape mechanic or something
Pants are Triggered
was about to comment this HAHA
"How to climb any elo" -Redmercy the diamond III Master
Well...he is better than you. Didnt he say that everyone, regardless the elo, can abuse those tips. Also the one giving dem tips was #1 NA.
How can you even say that he is better than me? You do not know me
What the heck is wrong with you
you have issues
so faking good hahahahaa xDD
WE WANT LEAGUE OF MYTH!!

+Rodox King sawry
otoniel rodriguez I already did.
I always rewatch this video as it truly helps me have a better understanding of climbing. Thanks Red.
Do you all have a meeting for "what video we're all making this week"?
You, Brofreso, Phylol, Pawnce.. all make the same exact videos every week.. like it's planned.
the season is ending in about 2 months, people want to climb
these types of videos get a lot of views especially right now
jesus crist, how is it wnding in 2 months?? NO!! I WANNA MY GOLD ICON
its no planned they copy paste each other. youtube is a place of talentless people with no iniciative why bother thinking about what im gonna record this week if i can just lool what redmercy did today.
lol
This video actually helped a lot. I'm in a low rank atm and really want to climb out, but I never can. The thing is, when people say "look at your weaknesses", I don't really know how to find them. I used to watch Dyrus to learn top lane. For some reason people kept calling me a feeder. FeelsBadMan
Loved the guest this time men! Great and useful content, keep it up!
Btw, bringing Krepo or some support main would be AWESOME, i´d love that :3
Pants are boosted needs to see this
Pants are Salty
+Jhin, the Virtuoso it is are not is, his name is pants are dragon
can you reach challenger? If hes boosted, then he would've fall to d5 or plat in just 1 day
Physco Wasabi have you even seen how many games he got carried as soraka bruh
He's still challenger tho
I love your new outro. Also the Death Mark from it was right on top of Janna, so I was like: "WTF" :D
a great tip for EUWEST server players: if you see someone talking french in champ select IMMEDIATELY leave.
99% of french players are toxic garbage and if you spot one you should really, really dodge to save LP even if you get a time penalty for the next queue.
True i recomend to do this in other online games too
French Players and the German ones are the worst
or maybe ur just stereotyping? maybe u dont notice the players who are playing good and are french because they are not playing bad?
issaissaisa Nah, I pay attention to my team.
***** so u know a player if french even if he doesnt speak french in the game? wow mb i didnt know u had super powers (btw im not french)
You can apply those tips to any kind of game, actually helped me alot on my mentality in dota!
ye never surrender, even if ur getting rekt and the game is 40 kills to 5 kills, U CAN DO IT.
Did he possibly mention something about experience?
he obviously means that if the score is like 30/15 that you can still win, due to the mistakes the enemies make and how cocky they get every time
It doesn't matter if the enemy team has 1000 kills . If u stall the game to the point that gold lead doesnt matter you can easily win the game . It totally depends on the team comp and punishing your enemy team for making mistakes. at that point u hope that the enemy team dc's
The point
Your head
Doing great job redmercy! I completly support this channel !! keep going :D
why do i feel like arcsecond is not in this video at all
He's talking like a middle schooler in a group presentation, following a script with no emotion while doing so
Well Arcsecond is also not the youtube personality in the video and also not the owner of the youtube channel this video will be on.

Yeah exactly, so what Im saying is that red could have just taken these audios from his things and arc wont even know lmao
Looking forward to the future video with Pants on this topic, if he ever gets to rank 1.
He won't
if he does he will say be a meta slave
Tip 1: Pay XiaowweiXiaow
TIp 2: Get boosted
Tip 3: Enjoy your boosted elo and get banned from the LCS
i don't have anything else to say only (Thank you Very Much) for the huge tips .. your tips makes me realize a lot of things to fix and adjust .. your profile and your videos are a treasure ... keep it up brother and be safe and god bless you 😊
Played a match with jax and won 1h 10min match
thank you red, because of you and pants i finally got in d5. rly gratefull for the information that u r givin to us (me) and keep up the gud work.
My teammates should watch this video, fuckers with their "surr @20 or I afk, we lost. gg"
by far one of the best tips to climb you can find on youtube
try playing in PH Server you will learn that TIP# 3 is the problem..even if you have a good game play but your team are fertilizer for the enemy team even if you destroy your enemy laner they will surely catch up because of your team.
dude let's face it PH is most toxic server.
seeesh bihira lang sa ph ang may good games, laging pinepersonal yung laro, at raging all the time
IKR? Plus saan ka nka kita ng dahil sa skin na trashtalk? So What kung my pang bili..dun ba nasusukat ang lakas?
san pa ba?? edi sa ph server wooo fuck yeah! nasusukat ang lakas sa team, oo, pero sa skins?? ghad daming triggered agad pag nag skin ka na...
haha yep thats phillipines to methats why im stuck in my division haha
my favourite tip was the fifth one. never surrendering. personally I kinda wish riot would remove the option to Surrender from ranked games and improve on the remake option we now have.
Why is he still talking? He's just repeating whatever Arsecond said
Ikr
he is giving his thoughts on it
nice lesson thanks redmecry and arcsecond
In my opinion, all league educational content doesnt help you climb. If you learned most of the things you can learn here on youtube, it will only help you 1/100 times... Smurf Smurfsson
Im glad i made you laugh, it always brings me joy making someone elses day better ^^
and meta champs, as a naturally not skilled person(im bad at everything) playing op champs helped me climbed to plat( If im naturally smart, skilled, i would be master)
yep thats my point lol
Whats up Redmercy, Diamond4 player here. I rarely ever watch your "advice" videos, but I love your masters series. The only reason I watched this one is Arcsecond. Best click bait ever.
I can't find a main :(
rip rengar
graves
you can usually find a main in 2 ways:
1. find a champ you really like to play or which gameplay is really enjoyable for you
2. find a champ you perform really well with
the optimal solution would be, if you find a champion both points apply to, but for the beginning just to go for one point is pretty good. If you often play a specific champ you really like, you will become better and understand the gameplay of that champ even further with every game. If you play a champ you perform well with, maybe you like the champ more with every game you play
wait for the new champ then
Or you can be like me and literally choose a main out of pure visuals lol, I fucking loved dinosaurs, dragons and anything reptilian when I was a kid so when I saw Renekton I instantly wanted to play him
thanks guys this video really helped
This video changed me alot thnx Red and Arc. Here i come plat
thanks for the last tip, now my team doesnt want to surrender while enemies got 4 dragons and baron
At the time of me watching this video, ArcSecond was indeed rank 2 in NA. So much for the tips.
What's your favorite champions for each role?
Top: Vladimir - Jungle: kindred - Mid: Swain - Attack Damage Carry: Vayne - Support: Nami (these are mine)
Nice taste in music Red. I didn't think anyone else listened to haywyre but I guess I was wrong!
i like that new ending with the zed ultimate thingy. Keep it, it looks very sweet ;)
Pretty good tips i might say.I thought this is going to be another "keep a good attitude and you will win games" video.
I sometimes surrender when behind if I have toxic teammates. They don't deserve to be carried to victory, and I'd rather just get into a fresh new game than be tortured by their presence.
Very good. Very informative. Thanks for this
Hello, I'm a Silver 4 and i main Tryndamere!
I don't quite agree on 2 points :
- a champion pool that covers your main's weaknesses is better than being a total one trick pony and being forced into horrible match ups that will only make you want to give up
- making risky plays, with the correct mindset off course, is one of the things that has the most potential of teaching you the possibilities you have in the many situations the game offers you. (champion, equipment, match up, team behaviour, positioning, cooldown, current HP, etc.)
My tips to climb ELO.
1. Ward.
2. CS
3. Get early objectives
4. Learn to read the map/enemy movements
5. Communicate
So nice you got a hold of him
one of ur best videos so far
Dam. Mercy's connects run hella deep!
I agree with all of those except for never surrendering. If 3 people on your team have already given up, you should vote yes. There's no point in continuing a losing game if 3 people on your team want to leave. Forcing them to stay will only make them play even worse, you're better off moving on to the next game.
really hope this reaches out to many players :D
finally a video that isnt a fillery, "i have to put out content" video
Awesome video! Very cool to hear from the best
Tip 4, where dota 2 players laughed xD
Great video though. Good as always Red and pretty cool guest. Thanks for the insight!
I main jinx and blitz and I win lane most of the time, but I'm often not sure what to do next. How do you decide what to do next?
Everyone should check out Arc's stream been watching for 2 months he's of the nicest people on twitch and always gives great tips :)
dude this is amazing illt try my best to never surrender
Congratz for 1m subs man
keep up the good work red
this special guest is cool! keep the work up! Like yyour content
love your vids keep up the good work
the 1st tip really fcks me up... i like playing all champs, but i guess thats why i cant climb that well anymore.... i used to play only 3 4 champs, mainly Zed, Darius, Yi, Blitz, And Urgot.(yess urgot is my main adc, hes my secret weapon) but this has been a wakeup call.
TY help alot love your videos redmercy thumbs up!!!!
Tip #5 - Never Surrender:
Yes i do this always but funny thing...4/1 for surrender. And our game wasn't even lost the enemy was just "A BIT" ahead because we throwed a bit.
GG. The time that Arsecond took to make this video, made him drop to rank 2.
This tips are awesome and very useful to me as a plat 4 player :D
this is a very helpful video thanks
Surrendering is often the best possible outcome to stop tilt and remove urself from a bad environment and to focus on the next game witout spending all that previous time slowly bleeded out.
Imo more can be learned from a new fresh game and a clear mind then one that has u muddled and tilted not thinking clearly. U can only learn from ur mistakes up to a certaint limit until ur blinded by frustration.
although this is true in some situations there are a lot more where the best thing is to keep playing, you cant really excuse every surrender vote with that argument
i'll take the RANK #1 opinion over your opinion js
+Mengas are you in bronze/silver?
Minoru Mas I agree there are plenty of winnable games, and to ff @ 20 is often a mistake.
But when u and ur team reach that point of no return mentally in the game, ur just slowly bleeding out and getting frustrated thus why I shared my thoughts.
I understand your position, however tip 5 works if you follow the others. Such as the step about focusing on you. If youre focused on the game and yourself rather than your team its much easier to keep tilt off and stay focused in the game
When you're in bronze, 2 guys afk in fountain and the other team is at your nexus
Never surrender! You can win!
bronze is where the magic happens. a few seasons ago i keep winning 2v5s
Thanks for the tips Arcsecond
loving your vids more and more
Thanks for the tips!!
I have never played ranked simply because I don't know what lane to choose. I have champions that I enjoy so much in every lane. Hey, its the guy, who is Rank 1 in Pant`s Intro :D
Ark, you da real MVP x
Scurt Scurt
How do you actually improve on things like map awareness? I know I need to work better at it and decision making deeply but yet I dunno how other than "play more" or "git gud"

Yes i will ever try and try is frustrating something but I try everytime.
you rly help me not not only me so many player lol only that can I say thx a lot :3
You think kalista can be good if you are good with her?for exemple having a positive winrate
Great Video :D Thanks, I learned a lot
I never press the surrender button but I do surrender for my self... I am pretty fast tilted
any tips?
my boy Arcsecond blowing tf up

Glad I watched this after being harassed by a teammate yesterday for only playing 4 champs in ranked. Thought I had to go out and try a whole new bunch of champs I don't even like playing.
I see Arcsecond everytime I watch Pants' Challenger to Rank 1 videos LOL
Every single time when my team starts surrender vote, all other 4 will always press yes even when we still have our 3 inhibitor.
where can you go to watch your replays? if you cant record your games on a capture card or on twitch video archives
Although i usually play with the mindset of "i have to focus on what i can do better, not my team" i don't really know what 2 think anymore, i have a 54% winrate on avarage with over 300 games and a 64% winrate over 75 games with Singed (yeah otp), and although these statistics are good every time i lose i feel like i was on a 10 lose streak, this is more on the ways of minds set, but still wanted 2 know if there was people that had the same problem as me and how they fixed/avoided this
How about kill stealing? Is it a good thing or a bad thing?
Remdercy what champions did u play to climb from silver to gold pls ?
Mehhh. Already doing most of this but still cant climb up, because of my Goddamn team feeding or flaming or most of the time they easily surrender or lose motivation to keep playing
I wish this video would change the players that go afk at 3 minutes, because their teammate gives first blood
You should use these in your diamond to masters series xD
any tips for csing ? i often play adc when im with my friends cause no one fits the role more than i do,tho i suck at csing
