Love these layouts, Cindy. I Love You Too Much from Book of Life and Remember Me from Coco are the songs that helped me grieve for my lovely old girl Duchess, a sassy but very loving 23 year old tortie cat. Then a few years later they helped me grieve for my Percy boy, and I also associate He's a Tramp by Peggy Lee with him too, he was a huge rogue of a tuxedo tom cat with a very cheeky face with huge cheeks, adopted him after he'd grown up a stray so he was a proper bin bandit, he was already diabetic when they found him, but he was also the biggest lovebug and actually a very gentle giant. I miss them both so much. These songs make me smile and cry!
Every time I watch The Color Purple....I cry when Shug Avery reunites with her preacher daddy ('even sinners got soul")....I also cry when Celie is reunited with Nettie...and when Nettie introduces Celie's grown children to her......WATERWORKS!!
In Matilda the musical, when "when I grow up" comes up, it gets me all chocked up and I always ALWAYS cry. There's something about kids singing about the hope they have on then being grown up that just shatters my heart. I'm almost 30 and I still feel like those kids, hoping I'll be strong enough and free enough when I'm older.
She Used To Be Mine from the musical Waitress gets me every time. My sister and I saw Sara Bareilles in concert and she sang it and I look over and both of us were crying 😅
Love the video. The secretarial pocket in the back is actually for a Hobonichi page marker. You slide that in and then use the elastic to mark your page.
Cindy's bookbound fountain pen era! Yesssss! How are you liking that pilot metropolitan? What nib size and ink are you using? I didn't love my pilot metropolitan for some reason, but I'm obsessed with my TWSBIs.
Many of the dances from the beginning of So You Think You Can Dance actually do this same thing for me. One of the most memorable was Kayla & Kupono dancing about addiction to Sara Bareilles - Gravity. To me those two things are now linked forever.
Several scenes in Lilo and Stitch are guaranteed to make me cry - happy cry as well as ow-my-heart cry. Nani is the BEST Disney princess, even though they exclude her, and it's a hill I will die on.
I cry at the bows of every live musical. And I have season tickets so I see 6-8 musicals a year! Even if the musical wasn’t emotional or I didn’t love it, just knowing that those actors on stage are doing what they love and are living their dreams makes me so happy for them.
You’re the only planner person I follow and now I’m damned curious what froofee things those other planners are getting up to with the inside pockets! PS. Love seahorses.
It always chokes me up in Moana when she realizes that Ta Fiti is Te Kā. And she sings “They have stolen the heart from inside you, but this does not define you”
My cathartic cry movie through my 20s has been Breakfast at Tiffany’s because I am generally not very emotional but at some deep level I identify with Holly being a lost soul who doesn’t really know what she wants. Especially the song “Moon River” is so melancholic it really stirs something in me.
Maybe it's that I'm a lefty, but to me the problem of putting on monthly tabs all lined up nice seems easy to solve: try putting it on backwards. Like, you pick the page, put the tab on the back of your chosen page, then flip back to the front and fold it over. If you were looking for suggestions, there's mine!
When you've settled into a home dialysis routine, I'd love to see 'a week in my planner' type of video with this planner. I'm very much considering this as my work planner for next year (my adhd requires me to think extremely far ahead apparently!), and I'd love to see how you use it on a daily/weekly basis!
That washing tape is perfect for the sea creature themes! Edit: there are a lot of scenes from LOTR that make me cry. Gandalf and Frodo talking in moria, Boromir's death, Theodan crying for his dead son, Sam's speech, and, of course, 'you bow to no one'.
Why can’t a company create dot markers and highlighters that match along with washy tape… It would be amazing to get all three of those and all the same colors and be able to use them… Why is this not a thing yet?
I have this exact Moterm and have been using it with my Common Planner since November! I'm liking it a lot (though I wish the taupe were cooler-toned). I did still decide to order Sterling Ink's clear plastic cover just in case I want the option of not using my Moterm sometimes. PS - the large back pocket is great for letter-sized sheets folded in half! I store a couple things back there.
This past year my big cry came at the end of Season 2 of Picard, where Picard and Q had their last conversation. It’s important to know that you matter. To something or someone.
Illusion by VNV Nation and Stronger than Dead by Amigo the Devil both make me cry for sad mental health reasons, but they're both idk, fortifying? In a way? And it's not media but those wholesome post listicles you get in like your Facebook feed makes me cry for happy reasons. Just people being good to each other in real life.
That moment in Harry Met Sally, where Sally slaps the sh$% out of Harry and says "F*&K YOU!!"...ugly cry. She's doing what I should have done to a few people throughout my life...
Yay for seahorse! A favorite sea creature! The LPD cover is definitely temperamental for the CP. catspressoco has one made for it and it’s awesome 👏🏻 though I love a leather cover most of all. Just feels nice and looks nice. I share covers a lot on my channel but loved your review ❤
The most underrated song in Hamilton is "Wait for it". I don't necessarily cry, but I get chills EVERY time I listen to it.
Love watching you sketch...great idea for applying the washi too. So relaxing watching you work!

omg Hadestown. I loved that musical so much. Despite knowing the story of Orphious & Eurydice, i bawled like a baby.
Several scenes in Lilo and Stitch are guaranteed to make me cry - happy cry as well as ow-my-heart cry. Nani is the BEST Disney princess, even though they exclude her, and it's a hill I will die on.
It continues to amaze me that you can just look at something and draw it. Girl, you have a gift!

Oh some pocket decor is ridiculous! I mean bows and lace and charms and so much stuff that doesn’t even stay in the pockets.
Thanks! Just googled some pics and can see what you mean. There’s a lot of trinketry and also some complicated systems for tracking stuff. Not for me.
Since the first time I heard it, and every time since: "Forgiveness." in Hamilton. Gah.
It always chokes me up in Moana when she realizes that Ta Fiti is Te Kā. And she sings “They have stolen the heart from inside you, but this does not define you”

"You bow to no one" gets me EVERY TIME.
Ahh that Theoden scene makes me cry every time!
"He was strong in life. His spirit will find its way to the halls of your fathers." brb sobbing 😭
Boromir's death. Every time, even though I've watched the trilogy about a million times.
Oh I’m a big crier, so I have plenty of moments but lately I’ve been sobbing to “You will be found” from Dear Evan Hansen.
Rent always makes me cry. Another one that really gets me is when Chuck sings “Fare Thee Well” in Supernatural
I'm wearing my Hadestown shirt today! When we saw the show it was amazing!

I ugly cry every time I watch "Pocahontas" and especially the song "All the Colours of the Wind"... Its a depressing reason why i cry as well...

What are your thoughts about the TR paper?
In My Life always sends me tearing up.
